Review: Pinkie Swear Clip Paints

Today I'm going to share my thoughts on a new beauty brand, Pinkie Swear Cosmetics! Prior to going to Gen Beauty NYC I had never heard of this brand. At Julia Salvia's Gen Beauty dinner I had the pleasure of meeting the Pinkie Swear team and learning about the brand. Their first beauty products are called Clip Paints. Review: Nyx Luv Out Loud Liquid Lipsticks*

Today I am going to share my thoughts on the new Nyx Luv Out Loud Liquid Lipsticks. I was so excited when Nyx reached about sending these new lipsticks out for me to try. For those of you that have followed my blog since the very beginning, you might remember that some of my earlier blog posts were reviews of some of their other lip products. I have been a Nyx customer for many years and some of their products are holy grail status for me like my beloved Micro Brow. I couldn't wait to give these a try! Review: Ofra Cosmetics x Manny MUA Liquid Lipsticks Collab

I had wanted to try the Ofra Liquid Lipsticks for quite a while then YouTube Beauty Guru Manny MUA came out with a collab set right around my birthday. I love Manny and follow him religiously so I really wanted this set! My lovely friend El (The Beauty Isle) decided to send the set to me as a birthday gift! I was super pumped to try them out. Reivew: ColourPop Holiday Haul

Hey Guys,

Today I am going to share some ColourPop lippies that I got as a Christmas present from my good friend El (from The Beauty Isle). I have wanted some new lipsticks for a while and was so excited to try out some of ColourPop's newer colors.

ColourPop Lippie Stix and Pencil in Grunge $5.00 

Grunge is a cool toned plum brown with a matte finish. It is such a gorgeous color. It looks great paired with simple eye makeup. It doesn't took too brown either.

ColourPop Lippie Stix in Lady $5.00

Lady is a cool toned dirty burgundy with a matte finish. I think it pulls a little more brown ish on me but you can definitely see the burgundy in it. I thought this would be my favorite color but I actually like Grunge a little more.

ColourPop Ultra Matte Lip in Bumble $6.00

Bumble is a dusty warm terracotta. I have wanted this color for quite a while now. It is such a gorgeous everyday color for me. I think it looks great with my skintone as well. This was surprisingly drying on me. I didn't think any of the other Ultra Matte liquid lipsticks were super drying which is weird. You definitely need to apply lip balm before using this. Maybe my lips have just been dryer than normal which is why I felt that this was so drying. Regardless, I love the color.

ColourPop Ultra Matte Lip in StingRAYE $6.00

StingRaye is a cool toned mauve brown. This really is a pretty color. The tube makes the color look lighter and pinker than it actually is. It definitely is more brown with a mauve tint to it. I didn't find this as drying as bumble. The wear time was about the same as the rest of the ColourPop liquid lipsticks. All stay on me for about 5 hours. They need a little bit of touch up after eating.

Overall, I was really happy with the colors that El got for me. They are all wearable colors for me personally, I really love ColourPop lip products in general. They are amazing and so affordable! I really want to pick up the new Taurus and Aquarius colors from the new Kathleen Lights collection.

Review: Kat Von D Lolita Lip Duo

Today I wanted to share a review of the Kat Von D Lolita Lip Duo that I purchased a couple weeks ago. I have wanted Lolita for the longest time but it is ALWAYS sold out in store and online. I found out that there was a duo coming out that had deluxe sized versions on both the original Lolita Liquid Lipstick and a new color called Lolita II. Keep reading to hear my thoughts about this duo!

Each mini lipstick comes with 0.10 oz of product. These are pretty small to be quite honest.

Overall, These liquid lipsticks have pretty good wear time. I would say around 5 hours. They do need to be touched up after eating. I love the two colors but actually prefer the Lolita II as an everyday color. One thing that I didn't love about these is they are a little drying and dry kind of sticky. I had to apply chapstick before using these and even then, my lips were still a little dry. I don't know if anyone else has experienced the tacky drying of these liquid lipsticks? I was glad that I got to try both colors out but I actually prefer the ColourPop Ultra Matte Liquid Lipsticks. I prefer them for a couple of reasons. The first is the price. They are only $6.00 vs $20.00 for the full size KVD ones. The second reason is that I do not experience the tacky/sticky feeling when they dry. If anyone knows of any ColourPop dupes for these, let me know!
