Today I'm going to share my thoughts on my BoxyCharm for July! I was really excited when I saw the Blinc Inc. palette we were going to be getting and that they were also featuring ColourPop and Bare Minerals. For those of you unfamiliar with BoxyCharm, it is a monthly beauty subscription box. You receive 4-5 FULL SIZED products each month. The subscription is $21.00 a month and usually has a theme. The theme for the month of July was "Cutie Pie". Keep reading below to hear my thoughts on each product and to check out the featured brand discount codes this month.
Blinc Inc x BoxyCharm Electric Eyes Palette $45.00
This palette is a collab with BoxyCharm. It has 5 shimmery shadows that are mostly bronzey with a pop of raspberry. These shadows are SO pigmented and creamy. They apply beautifully. You need to use other shadows as well since there are no matte transition colors but I was so impressed with this palette overall. I used these shadows alot while I was in Mexico and they created such pretty looks!
bareMinerals Invisible Light Translucent Powder Duo $32.00
I haven't tried alot of bareMinerals products besides their original loose powder foundation. I was really happy I got this product instead of the sunscreen/primer. This has both a matte translucent setting powder and a luminizing powder. The matte powder will be good under the eyes and the luminizer gives a subtle and natural highlight. I used it once so far and though it was nice. I think this works for light to medium skin tones but may not work with darker skin tones.
WinkyLux Uni-Brow Universal Eyebrow Pencil $12.00
This is a brow pencil with a spoolie on one end. I love when brow products come with a spoolie. It's so convenient. I love the packaging of this and the product itself is pretty good. It's creamy and isn't TOO dark for my brows. I normally would pick something a little lighter but this is supposed to be universal. I don't think this would work for people with blonde or red hair naturally. It is a triangle shape so you got to get used to using the different edges of the tip. It's better for fast application when you need to fill your brows in a hurry vs being very detailed. I like it for when I am in a rush during the work week.
ColourPop Ultra Matte Lip in Notion $6.00
I was really excited to see ColourPop since it's one of my favorite brands. They sent out a bunch of different colors this month. Some people also got Ultra Satin Lips instead. I got Notion which is a matte deepended raspberry. I don't love the Ultra Matte Lip formula compared to Ultra Satin Lips but the color is pretty. It's more of a fall color so I'm not sure why we got it in this month's box. I would have preferred Beeper or another nude. One weird thing I noticed is that this stained my lips hot pink. It was really hard to get off.
Project Beauty SPRAY.SET.GO. Makeup Setting Spray $32.00
I love trying new products and I use setting sprays everyday. I was really excited to try this. The mist isn't super fine like the UD setting sprays but it does help prolong my makeup.

These shadows apply just as pigmented on the eyes as they do in these swatches.
These are the translucent powders from the bareMinerals duo. The left powder is matte and the right is glow.
The left is the ColourPop Ultra Matte Lip in Notion. The right is the Winxy Lux Uni Brow Pencil. It was very dry when applying to my arm but applied way better on the brows. I may also have accidentally not closed the cap good enough and it dried out? Not sure as its been a week or so since I used this.

Overall, this was my favorite box from BoxyCharm so far! I will use every product in this box. The value was well over $100.00 which makes it a fantastic value. We got to spoilers so far and will be getting a Tarte Rainforest of the Sea Eyeshadow palette next month and a brush set! This is one subscription that ALWAYS makes me excited!
