February Favorites + Flops

Hey Guys,
It's been a pretty good February and I can't wait until the spring time! It was super warm last week and we hit record high temperatures in Boston for the month of February. We hit high 60's and low 70's last week. Saturday I was jogging outside with a short sleeve shirt on but the very next day it was cold and windy in the 40's (which felt like 30's with the wind). I started clothing shopping for the spring. Do you guys like seeing my fashion hauls or are they getting boring? I DEF want to do OOTD posts styling my clothes its just taking the time on the weekend to put together a few outfits, find some cool locations, and take pictures. I always seem to have SOMETHING to do that prevents me from doing so. I am going to make more of an effort once we have steady warm temps to do so. I only have makeup related favorites this month. I have two flops as well, Check out my video below to see what I've been loving!

Review: VIIcode Oxygen Eye Mask for Dark Circles*

Hey Guys,
Today I'm going to share my thoughts on eye masks that were sent to me to test out and review. The brand is called VII Code and the product that I will be discussing is their O2M Oxygen Eye Mask for Dark Circles. I have suffered with dark circles since childhood. I'm not quite sure why I have them so bad but it's something that I am very self conscious about. I am always interested in hearing about products that are supposed to reduce the appearance of dark circles. The VII Code are different from other eye sheet masks because they are an overnight treatment that can be worn up to 8 hours. For the past 3 weeks I have tried out these eye masks and am ready to share my thoughts. Keep reading to hear more about this product!

VIIcode Oxygen Eye Mask for Dark Circles
Here is what is said about this product on the VIIcode website:
"Designed for continuous 8-hour use overnight with a natural, alcohol-free, and non-irritating formula. The individually wrapped O2M Oxygen Eye Mask for dark circles will help nourish the skin under and around your eyes, so you look young, refreshed, and well rested again.

BENEFITS
Helps eliminate dark circles and puffiness effectively.
Skin becomes brighter and more even complexion.
Minimizes signs of aging and damage.
Skin is firming and hydrated.
INGREDIENTS
Grapeseed Oil: Extremely rich in vitamins and essential fatty acids, which have performed well in clinical anti-wrinkle trials. It is also rich in OPC. These flavonoids remove free radicals and promote the restoration of collagen at the cellular level, making your skin feel firmer and minimizing signs of damage.

Seaweed: Helps the skin cells in fighting free radicals produced because of radiation and chemical exposure, food metabolic activities, and exposure to sun. Also helps in restoring the normal hydration of skin cells that prevents the signs of aging and protects against wrinkle formation.

White Tea: Helps body stay hydrated and encourages longer moisture retention for your skin. Combine with potent anti-aging compounds, and it's an option to consider for keeping fine lines and wrinkles at bay."

Review: BH Cosmetics Gold Rush Palette

Hey Guys,
Today I am going to share my thoughts on the BH Cosmetics Gold Rush Palette. Colin got me this palette for Christmas. I have been testing it out ever since. I haven't tried any BH Cosmetics palettes prior to the items that he got me but I have always wanted to. They are known for their super affordable pricing and their cute brush sets. They are probably most known for the  collab that they did with Carli Bybel. During the holidays, they had tons of sales which made the prices even lower. I believe they are also cruelty free. Keep reading to hear my thoughts on this palette!

BH Cosmetics Gold Rush Eye & Cheek Palette $12.50

This palette isn't showing up on their site anymore. I'm not sure if it is out of stock or if it is discontinued. It comes with 12 eye shadows and 3 face products. It is made of a heavy cardboard and has a decent sized mirror on the inside.

There are 5 mattes and 7 shimmers. It also includes 1 highlighter, 1 blush, and 1 bronzer. All three face products have a shimmer to them.

Review: Garnier Whole Blends Hydrating Coconut Water & Vanilla Milk Mask

Hey Guys,
Today I am going to share my thoughts on the new Garnier Whole Blends Hydrating Mask. I love masks hair masks and haven't use them in a while.I picked this up MONTHS ago but just got around to trying it a couple of weeks ago. Keep reading to hear more about this hair mask and my thoughts on it!

Garnier Whole Blends Hydrating Mask Coconut Water & Vanilla Milk $6.29

Garnier Whole Blends Hydrating Coconut Water & Vanilla Milk Mask
Here is what is said about this mask on the Garnier site:

"Generous rinse-out treatment deeply quenches & softens. Our deeply moisturizing yet light & silky formula blooms with a tropical fragrance of coconut water & vanilla milk, bringing to life our wholesome care that gives strands a deep dose of hydration without weighdown, for hair that is delectably soft with silky shine." - http://www.garnierusa.com/

Garnier Whole Blends Hydrating Coconut Water & Vanilla Milk Mask
On to my thoughts:
This mask is paraben free and gentle enough to use every day. It supposed to hydrate your hair without weighting it down. You leave it on for a couple minutes then wash out. This is the best smelling hair mask that I have ever tried! It smells exactly as it noted above...like coconuts and vanilla. You get a ton of product for under $7.00. The jar is about 10oz. The mask itself is almost a yogurt like consistency. It spreads easily through hair. My hair instantly felt like silk after washing it out. I think it did a great job at making my hair feel soft and hydrated. I let my hair air dry overnight and you could still smell a subtle version of the fragrance once dry. Overall, I highly recommend this hair mask and can't wait to try other scents of the Garnier Whole Blends line!

January Favorites

Hey Guys,
Today I'm going to share my favorite products for January! I know that I am going to probably jinx myself saying this but we have had a very mild winter here in MA. It hasn't been extremely cold nor has it snowed alot. I'm really looking forward to next month as I am going to Mohegan Sun Casino in Connecticut to see Florida Georgia Line! They have quickly become one of my favorite groups of all time which is weird considering that I don't really like country music. Nonetheless, I have fallen in love with this group and their new album Dig Your Roots has really touched my soul. I'm not a religious person but there is something about this album that just really moves me on so many levels. I love many different types of music but there is something different about these artists. I feel like their music has helped me heal from things in my life in a way...I can't really explain it. I love their focus on family, love, and living a simple life. Their morals, values, and messages are just so real and inspiring. Anyways, if you like country or even if you don't... check them out! My favorite songs from there new album are H.O.L.Y., Life is a Honeymoon, Dig Your Roots, May We All, Grow Old, and Wish You Were On It. Back to the real reason for writing this post, check out my video below to see the products that I was loving this month!
