Hey Guys, I know its been FOREVER since my last blog post. Since my son was born I have struggled to find time to create content for Instagram nevermind time to write a whole blog post. Ever since my boyfriend went back to work my time in between nap periods is limited. I always have a bunch other things I need to do like the never-ending pile of laundry, trying to fit in a quick workout, and eating so blogging has taken a back seat. I recently found time to snap some pictures for reviews so I have a few in the works. Today I'll be sharing my thoughts on the Morphe 2 Ready in 5 Eyeshadow Palette in Malibu. @sadiedaniels_ mentioned this palette on Instagram and it looked so pretty so I had to pick it up. Keep reading to see swatches and hear my thoughts!
Today I'm going to share my thoughts on the Dose of Colors Truffle Eyeshadow Palette. I am already a fan of the Truffle Matte Liquid Lipstick and the formula of DOC eyeshadows. I also felt that I would use a majority of the shades in this palette. Keep reading to hear more about this palette and to see swatches.

Hey Guys,
Today I'm going to share my thoughts on the Dominique Cosmetics Transition Palette. I picked it up during one of the BoxyCharm Pop Up Sales. I think that I only have one palettes that is all matte and its only 4 shades. I have hit pan in two of shades and have wanted to purchase this palette for a while. I am someone that ALWAYS hits pan in the lighter matte base and transition shades in a palette. During the weekday I tend to reach for 3 shadows. A matte skin tone or bone color (base shade), a matte light brown transition shade, and a shimmer shade for the lid. I often reach for my ColourPop Super Shock Shadows for lid shades and then use my other palettes for the matte shades. I have hit pan on so many lighter shades and am wearing down on many of my warm brown shades so I felt like this would be a palette that I would reach for a ton on a daily basis. Keep reading to hear more about this palette!
Here is what is said about this palette on the Dominique Cosmetics site:
"Life is complicated, but makeup doesn’t have to be thanks to Dominique Cosmetics Transition Palette. Keep things simple with this versatile, multi-use palette. Define, contour, brighten, and highlight with a range of warm to cool neutral shades with a matte finish. Play up your eyes. Enhance your brows. Choose daytime no-makeup makeup looks or go sultry, smoky glam—these blendable, longwearing pigments can do it all."
Here are some tips on how and where to use each shade:
Brighten with Natural and Frothy.
Contour/bronze with Toffee, Cinnamon, Coffee Beans, Blushing, Carmel, Mocha, and Hazelnut.
For blush, use Blushing, Chai, Cinnamon, Soft N’ Sweet.
Fill in brows with Coffee Beans, Ash, Mocha, Coal, Toffee, and Cinnamon.
Here is a close up of the shades:
Frothy: Cream with a matte finish Toffee: Warm tan with a matte finish Blushing: Warm peach with a matte finish Coffee Beans: Deep brown with a matte finish Ash: Cool gray with a matte finish Natural: Nude peach with a matte finish Honey: Vintage yellow with a matte finish Chai: Berry rose with a matte finish Hazelnut: Spiced terracotta with a matte finish Coal: Dark brown-black with a matte finish Carmel: Light taupe with a matte finish Soft N’ Sweet: Mauve with a matte finish Cinnamon: Burnt brown with a matte finish Mocha: Chocolate brown with a matte finish Smokey: Rich black with a matte finish
Here are swatches of the shades:
On to my thoughts:
I do like that this is a multi-use palette. The fact that you can use it as shadow, blush, contour, and brow powder makes it very versatile. I most likely will only use it as shadow but its a great palette to travel with or for someone that doesn't have a ton of different beauty products. The shadows are very pigmented and blend very nicely. I have been reaching for it a ton. I really have nothing negative to say with my experience so far. My only wish is that there was one more matte brown shade that was on the warmer side. Overall, I am very happy with my purchase and highly recommend it!

Hey Guys, Today I'm going to share my thoughts on the Kaja Beauty Bento Bouncy Eyeshadow Trios. I have wanted to try these little compact shadows for a while and finally picked them up a few months ago. I shared one of them on Instagram and loved it so much that I purchased a couple more. I am traveling soon and originally planned to bring one larger eyeshadow palette with me. After I purchased a new toiletry bag I decided that I was going to only bring one bag for all of my makeup and skincare. The best way to succeed at that is to bring smaller items. That is when I decided to pick up more of these little trios. Keep reading to hear more about these Bouncy Eyeshadow Trios and to see swatches of each.
Here is what is said about this product on the Sephora site:
"These bouncy eyeshadows come packaged in bite-sized shimmer stacks or trios of matte and shimmer pigments that apply effortlessly with your fingertips. Kaja’s Glitter Arrangement Technology delivers uniform shimmer in every swipe—perfect for quick, easy eye looks on-the-go.
Free of sulfates SLS and SLES, parabens, and phthalates. Kaja is cruelty-free.
This product is an Allure Best of Beauty award winner."
These trios come in all shimmer, all matte, and matte and shimmer combo.

Hey Guys, Today I'm going to share my thoughts on the Tartelette Juicy Palette. Its been quite a while since I purchased a palette or a bunch of makeup in general. I have always been a fan of Tarte shadows and their Tartelette palettes especially. I have owned all of them at one point or another. This palette isn't brand new but it is their newest one that they have launched. I decided to pick it up because the colors seem like a good range of neutrals that you could use on a daily basis. Keep reading to hear more about this palette, my thoughts on it, and swatches.
Today I am going to share my thoughts on the Jaclyn Cosmetics Poutspoken Liquid Lipsticks and Lip Liners. I wasn't able to grab any during her initial launch because they sold out in minutes. However, I was able to grab a few during her restock a few weeks ago. Both products are currently only available on the Jaclyn Cosmetics website but will launch at Ulta in May. I have been trying these products out for about a week and am ready to share my thoughts with you. Keep reading to learn more about the products, see swatches, and my overall opinion of them.

Hey Guys,
Today I'm going to share my thoughts on the Jaclyn Cosmetics Bronze & Blushing Duo that I picked up when it launched at Ulta. I planned to grab two duos but the other one that I wanted sold out instantly. If you are unfamiliar with Jaclyn Cosmetics, its is a brand owned and run by beauty YouTuber Jaclyn Hill. She has had three different product launches over the past few years. The first of lipsticks was a complete disaster and she faced alot of back lash because of it. (I personally really liked her lipsticks). Her second launch was different forms of highlighters. These were well received and customers begged for her to make these limited edition products permanents. You can check out my review of the Flash Palette HERE. She recently launched a quick Valentine's Day collection and then announced these duos. Her new collection consists of 7 blush and bronzer duos. She also launched single highlighters the most popular shades in limited edition highlighter collection. Keep reading to hear more about the bronze and blushing duos and what I thought of the shade that I picked up!

Hey Guys,

Hey Guys,
Today I'm going to share my thoughts on some new products that Pixi Beauty sent over to me as part of their PR. For those of you unfamiliar with the brand, Pixi Beauty is a UK based beauty brand. They are an affordable cruelty free brand whose products can be found at Target and other drugstores. Their products include skincare, body care, and makeup. They are most well known for their skincare products such as the infamous Glow Tonic. Their new products consist of 2 new eyeshadow palettes and 2 new face quads. Keep reading to learn about these new products, see swatches, and hear my thoughts on each!
Pixi Beauty Eye Effects Palettes
Here is what is said about these palettes on the Target site:

Flattering and versatile, this palette will be a must-have to take with you wherever you go! Use a brush to apply and blend. Dampen the brush for added intensity.

Pixi Beauty Nuance Quartettes
Here is what is said about these palettes on the Target site:
"These quads come in natural tone-on-tone nuances of colour to use on cheeks & eyes. Creamy powders are formulated with ceramides, vitamin E and botanical extracts to hydrate and adhere to skin like a cream and give a natural skin finish. Highly blendable mix of matte and luminous finishes can be worn alone or layered for a customizable glowing look. Ceramide can claim to provide time-release moisture
Vitamin E can nourish & protect

These shadows aren't super pigmented at first swipe but more buildable. The shimmers are definitely more pigmented than the mattes and apply best with your finger. I actually used a Pixi Endless Shade Stick on my lids first with both that looks that I created with these Eye Effects palettes. Doing so helps the shimmer look even more pigmented on the lids. I was really happy with the look that I created using this palette. You can check it out on my IG reels HERE andHERE.
I thought that this was a great palette for fall! The colors remind me of the changing leaves during this time of year. I love the warm tones and especially liked the green shade which I used to create a look. Again, I used a Pixi Endless Shade Stick as a base to make the green shimmer shade pop more on my lid. You can check that out HERE.
I thought this palette was beautiful! The highlight shades are so pretty especially the pink shade that seems to shift in color. I love that these palettes can not only be used on the face but also on the eyes. I have been using both palettes non stop but this one is my favorite of the two.
This palette is also pretty but the dark pink blush isn't my favorite. I prefer more subtle blushes like the second blush in this palette. Both highlighters are so pretty. The lighter highlighter works better for a highlight on me and the more pinkish purple highlighter would be better as a blush topper or eyeshadow.
Overall, I really like all four palettes. While not every shade in every palette worked for me; there are definitely some gorgeous shades in each palette! However, if I had to pick which palette type that I would recommend more I would say the Nuance Quartettes. They are more versatile considering that you can use them on your face and your eyes. My favorite of the bunch is definitely Honey Nectar.

Hey Guys,
Today I'm going to share my favorite ColourPop Super Shock Shadows. For those of you unfamiliar with ColourPop, they are a USA based affordable and cruelty free beauty brand. Located in California, ColourPop manufacturers all of their own products locally. They are one of my favorite affordable beauty brands and have been around since 2013/2014. They have a full range of complexion and color products as well as sister brands that cover skincare and bodycare. The first product that they launched was their Super Shock Shadow. These shadows came in a large range of finishes and has a unique bouncy texture. They are super pigmented and last all day without creasing. The best part is that the shadows only cost $6.00 each! I have gathered quite a large collection of Super Shock Shadows over the years. They are my favorite shadows to use on my lid or as a lid topper over other shadows. They are also awesome for creating a quick look with one shadow swiped across the lids. The shadows apply the best and most pigmented using your finger to apply them to the lids.
For some reason, they don't offer as many finishes as they used to. I really hope that they release more finishes like before. I wanted to share my favorite super shock shadows that I own because I think they are a really great product and very affordable. I have hit pan on most of them and always replace my favorites if they are still being made. Ulta carries a small selection of Super Shock Shadows as well. I just saw some on sale the other day for $3.50 each!

Hey Guys,
Today I'm going to share a brand I'm really excited about. The brand is called treStique and they are all about simple and quick beauty. I heard about the brand years ago when I got a mini shadow stick of theirs in my Ipsy Glam Bag. I remember really liking the product and even including it in one of my monthly favorites. Flash forward to 2020 I was re-introduced to treStique and I looked into it some more. I was very intrigued by the whole idea of "simple quick beauty". I have never been able to do my makeup quickly but with COVID and wearing less makeup in general, I really liked the idea of this. Their products are meant to be quick and easy for the mom or woman on the go or for someone that just doesn't want to spend a lot of time doing their makeup. treStique products are about convenience and are meant to enhance your natural beauty. The product lines cover everything from foundation, concealer, shadow/liner/mascara, brows, bronzer, concealer, and lip products. You can purchase these products individually or in sets. They even have mini sets if you don't want to commit to the full sizes just yet. The best part, all treStique products are super travel friendly! Hey Guys,
Today I'm going to share my thoughts on some of the products in the ColourPop Pretty FreshComplexion line! They just launched their new Pretty Fresh Foundation a couple of weeks ago. The rest of the line has been out for a while. I didn't like their first No Filter Foundation so I wasn't in a hurry to try this one. After hearing a lot of positive reviews on both the concealer and tinted moisturizer I decided to pick up those as well. Keep reading to hear my thoughts on each!

Hey Guys,
Today I'm going to share my thoughts on the Urban Decay Stay Naked Foundation and Concealer. I know these products aren't brand new but I have wanted to try them for quite a while now. Urban Decay had a sale on the foundation back in May and I also had an Ulta Birthday Reward so I decided to pick them up. The foundation took really long to get here due to Covid shipping delays so I was only able to use it a few times before it became too light for me.
