Hey Guys,
I know we are now into February but I had some interest in seeing it so I'm going to be sharing my favorite beauty products of 2020. I am splitting the favorites into best of makeup and best of skincare. I will be starting with makeup. Its definitely been a weird year so my makeup preferences and routines have changed quite a bit. Since I worked from home from March to October I barley wore makeup more than 1-2x a week. Now that I am going to the office 2x a week I am wearing it some more but covid has changed my makeup preferences and what works for me on a daily basis. I'm going to share the makeup items that I reached for the most in 2020 and just couldn't live without! With the holidays right around the corner, I wanted to share my favorite red lip products. I don't wear red that often. Probably a handful of times a year. However, it always photographs so pretty! Blue based red lipstick also makes your teeth look whiter! My favorite times of the year to wear red lip products are Christmas Eve/Christmas Day, New Years Eve, and the 4th of July. Below are some of my favorite brands and shades that are my go-tos when rocking a red lip. Today I'm going to share my favorite ColourPop Super Shock Shadows. For those of you unfamiliar with ColourPop, they are a USA based affordable and cruelty free beauty brand. Located in California, ColourPop manufacturers all of their own products locally. They are one of my favorite affordable beauty brands and have been around since 2013/2014. They have a full range of complexion and color products as well as sister brands that cover skincare and bodycare. The first product that they launched was their Super Shock Shadow. These shadows came in a large range of finishes and has a unique bouncy texture. They are super pigmented and last all day without creasing. The best part is that the shadows only cost $6.00 each! I have gathered quite a large collection of Super Shock Shadows over the years. They are my favorite shadows to use on my lid or as a lid topper over other shadows. They are also awesome for creating a quick look with one shadow swiped across the lids. The shadows apply the best and most pigmented using your finger to apply them to the lids.

For some reason, they don't offer as many finishes as they used to. I really hope that they release more finishes like before. I wanted to share my favorite super shock shadows that I own because I think they are a really great product and very affordable. I have hit pan on most of them and always replace my favorites if they are still being made. Ulta carries a small selection of Super Shock Shadows as well. I just saw some on sale the other day for $3.50 each!

Today I'm going to share my thoughts on some of the products in the ColourPop Pretty Fresh Complexion line! They just launched their new Pretty Fresh Foundation a couple of weeks ago. The rest of the line has been out for a while. I didn't like their first No Filter Foundation so I wasn't in a hurry to try this one. After hearing a lot of positive reviews on both the concealer and tinted moisturizer I decided to pick up those as well. Keep reading to hear my thoughts on each!

It's been years since I've done a yearly Best of Beauty. However, I am trying to switch up my posts and create content other than just reviews and unboxings. I have decided to do a Best of Beauty post instead of a video because I can never find the time to sit down and film and then edit YouTube videos. It takes way too long and the views just aren't enough to justify it. Also, I am really hoping that people will start reading blogs more often! I decided to break up my Best of Beauty into two segments; makeup and skincare. I have also decided to pick a drugstore/affordable option for some of the categories when I mention a high end brand. I really loved the formula of their Creme Lux Lipsticks (review HERE) so I decided to pick up a few of the new formula to test out. March Favorites & Flops

Hey Guys,
Now that we are already into April I'm going to share the products that I was loving in March. I don't know how it is everywhere else in the country but its been super cold for this time of year. We are supposed to see at least 60s by April and 30-40s seem to be the average lately. I really hope that I see no more snow until the winter (but nothing will surprise me). While the heat does get to me every now and then, I would take super hot weather over cold weather any day. I am longing for the warm weather and eventually beach days. New England weather totally makes me want to move down south! I have been trying alot of new products the past few months and have been reviewing a ton of products. Review: ColourPop NKLA x Laura Lee Los Angeles Collection

Hey Guys,

Today I'm going to share ColourPop's new Laura Lee x NKLA collection! This is the 3rd year that ColourPop has come out with a limited edition item in collab with No Kill LA & Best Friends Animal Society. 100% of the net proceeds are donated to this effort to stop euthanasia in animal shelters. You can see my review of their first shadow for this cause called Puppy Love HERE. Last year they came out with a shadow called Cat Nip. Both shadows as well as this collection are available right now on ColourPop's site! Each year I purchase for this cause since it is so near and dear to my heart. As soon as I found out they were doing it again this year, I knew I was going to get it regardless of what it looked like. I had mixed feelings about this collection. All of the items in the collection can be purchased on their own or as a bundle. I purchased both the lip bundle and the shadow quad bundle. The super shock shadows are $5.00 each and the lip products are $6.00 each.

Right away, I fell in love with the packaging and color scheme. Its's so beautiful. I love the metallic rose gold detail.

For those of you unfamiliar with this palette, it is one of the products in Karrueche Tran's newest ColourPop collection called Fem Rosa. This palette is being restocked today at 10 a.m./pst (1 p.m./e.s.t.). The collection also includes lip products and a face palette.  This palette contains 12 shadows that are a mix of matte, satin, and metallic finishes. There are four mattes, one satin, and seven metallic shadows. The palette is said to be primarily mauve tones. It is mostly a cool toned palette.

Today I am gong to share my thoughts on the ColourPop Yes, Please! Palette. This is ColourPop's first 12 pan palette. It has been selling like hot cakes and it has been restocked 3 times so far. It will be restocked for a 4th time today August 10th at 10 a.m./P.S.T. (1 p.m./E.S.T.). I believe this palette is limited edition and not sure how much longer it will be available. This palette contains 12 shadows. It includes 8 matte shadows and 4 metallic shadows. The shadow is full of warm orange and gold tones that were inspired by "Golden Hour" as the ColourPop site mentions. 

Review: ColourPop Haul #2

Recently I shared my first ColourPop haul that you can check out HERE. My friend El got me some ColourPop products as an early birthday present. I still had other products on my GIANT wishlist and decided to pick up some more. All of these products will get used in the spring and summer months so that is my justification for ordering them lol. I still have a few items on my ColourPop list but I will save them for the fall/winter since the colors are more fitting for those seasons.So back to this haul... ColourPop came out with Sand, Nectar, and Pink Spring Collections. While the Pink Collection didn't really interest me, a bunch of items from the Sand and Nectar Collections did.
