Review: Serenity and Scott Brow Gel in Copper Auburn

Hey Guys,
I wanted to share my thoughts on an awesome brow product that I picked up at IMATS NY. It is the Serenity & Scott Brow Gel in Copper Auburn. I have always used clear brow gels but have never used tinted ones before. I was interested in trying a tinted brow gel to see how I liked it.

Serenity and Scott Brow Gel in Copper Auburn
This brow gel looks almost metallic in the tube. I chose the Copper Auburn because I fill my brows in and sometimes they come out really dark. Since I dye my hair auburn/red, this brow gel helps warm and lighten up my brows. I have been using this every day since I first purchased it. It doesn't make your brow hair stiff or sticky. The color looks very natural and not over powering. The wand/comb itself is thick but not too thick.

Here is a swatch of the tinted brow gel:

Here are my brows with just the tinted brow gel:

Overall, I highly recommend this product. It is well worth the price and I will definitely be repurchasing it. This definitely gives your brows just a little extra something that makes them looking fresh and on point.

Life Update

Hey Guys,
I'm not sure if you guys have noticed or not but my posts haven't really been too consistent. I've been MIA from social media a lot of the time which isn't normal for me. Not to put my business out there but I am going through a ton of life changes right now. I am getting divorced and I am reconnecting with friends and family. I haven't left a ton of time for blogging and youtube but I promise I will get back on track soon. I just need to adjust to my new life and schedule. I miss all of you and will do my best to visit everyone's blog and get back to my normal blogging schedule soon!

Thanks for all of your love and support!

Review: Morphe Brushes

Hey Guys,
I picked up some Morphe Brushes at IMATS and wanted to share my thoughts on them. Keep reading to hear more!
Morphe Brushes

M460 1 1/2" Flat Contour $13.99
Morphe Brushes
This brush makes it super easy to contour and blend right below your cheekbones.

M439 Deluxe Buffer
Morphe Brushes
This is a good brush for applying foundation. It gives a nice and even application however, I prefer the E6 over this brush.

E6 Premium Flat Buffer $14.99
Morphe Brushes
This is a great brush for applying foundation and helps give a more full coverage look. It gives a flawless look and is super soft. The only negative thing that I have noticed is that these types of brushes are very hard to clean thoroughly. The foundations cakes onto the hairs and causes the brush to be clumpy. I have a really hard time getting all of the foundation out of the brush.

M107 Jumbo Powder Dome $8.99

Morphe Brushes
This is a great powder brush. It distributes power evenly and is very dense and fluffy. I have been using this brush everyday since I purchased it.

Overall, I was happy with the Morphe Brushes that I purchased. My favorites are the M107 and the E6.  I think that they are definitely worth their price tag.

Review: Nyx Wonder Stick

Hey Guys,
As you know, contouring has become ever so popular in the beauty industry. Beauty lovers have learned that you don't have to be a makeup artist to learn how to contour. Nyx came out with the Wonder Stick which is a super easy multi tasking product that has a highlight color on one end and a contour color on the other. I have wanted to try these out for so long and finally picked them up!

Review: Nyx Wonder Stick
The Wonder Sticks come in 4 shades; light, medium, deep, and universal. I picked up two shades; Universal and Light.
Review: Nyx Wonder Stick
Universal is supposed to work with all skin tones. It has a shimmery highlight shade on one end and a more warm toned contour shade.

Here are swatches of the Universal shades:

Light has a non shimmery highlight side and more of a taupey brown contour shade.

Here are swatches of the Light Shades:

These products are super easy to use! I prefer the non-shimmery highlight shade but I am glad that I have both options. The lighter contour shade will work best for me now but more red toned shade may work better when I have a tan. These Wonder Sticks are super pigmented and creamy. They are super easy to use and blend out. I am so glad that I picked these up.

Review: Younique Moodstruck 3D Fiber Lashes

Hey Guys,
So I finally tried out the Younique Moodstruck 3D Fiber Lashes Mascara and wanted to share my thoughts on it. There has been a huge fiber lash craze lately and every cosmetic brand is coming out with their own version. I decided to purchase the Younique fiber mascara because my friend and fellow beauty blogger Ashley from Ashley Maria is now a Younique Presenter. You can check out her shop site HERE.

Younique Moodstruck 3D Fiber Lashes Mascara $29.00

Review: Younique Moodstruck 3D Fiber Lashes
This mascara comes with two products that you use together. A Transplant Gel and the Fibers. First you apply and coat your lashes with the transplanting gel. Next you apply the fibers. Lastly, you apply the gel again to seal in the fibers. You can use these products alone or with one coat of your favorite mascara. I have found that using one coat of mascara first, then using these products adds even more drama and volume to your lashes.

Here are some pictures of my lashes before and after using the Younique Moodstruck 3D Fiber Lashes Mascara:

Younique Moodstruck 3D Fiber Lashes
Overall, I am IN LOVE with this fiber mascara! It is so awesome! Yes, it is a bit pricey but I think it is well worth it. This is a great alternative to false lashes which can be a pain in the ass to apply. It gives a very similar affect. This mascara would be great to use for a night out or special occasion. The only thing I would note is that the fibers do shed a bit throughout the day. It is very important to always use the transplanting gel last to lock in the fibers. If not, your face will be a mess. I highly recommend this mascara to anyone that wants the look of big and thick lashes without having to use falsies.
