I'm back with Part 2 of my Best of Beauty 20202. This time I'm going to be sharing my favorite skincare products that I reached for the most last year. I know we are now into February but I had some interest in seeing it so I'm going to be sharing my favorite beauty products of 2020. I am splitting the favorites into best of makeup and best of skincare. I will be starting with makeup. Its definitely been a weird year so my makeup preferences and routines have changed quite a bit. Since I worked from home from March to October I barley wore makeup more than 1-2x a week. Now that I am going to the office 2x a week I am wearing it some more but covid has changed my makeup preferences and what works for me on a daily basis. I'm going to share the makeup items that I reached for the most in 2020 and just couldn't live without! Best of Beauty 2019: Skincare

Hey Guys,

Today I'm going to share part 2 of my Best of Beauty 2019; my favorite skincare products! Unlike makeup, I really try to use up all of my current skincare before trying something new. Because of this, I really don't try AS MANY skincare items as makeup items. That being said, I've tried some really amazing skincare brands/products last year! Like with my favorite makeup of 2019 (you can check those out HERE), I will list a more affordable option when I mention a higher end brand. I included images of the items discussed if I had them at home.  I also decided to add Fragrance and Hair Products categories to the bottom of this  post as I didn't think they needed their own. It's been years since I've done a yearly Best of Beauty. However, I am trying to switch up my posts and create content other than just reviews and unboxings. I have decided to do a Best of Beauty post instead of a video because I can never find the time to sit down and film and then edit YouTube videos. It takes way too long and the views just aren't enough to justify it. Also, I am really hoping that people will start reading blogs more often! I decided to break up my Best of Beauty into two segments; makeup and skincare. I have also decided to pick a drugstore/affordable option for some of the categories when I mention a high end brand. June Favorites & Flops

Hey Guys!

Today I'm going to share my favorites and flops for the month of June. The month really flew by and its definitely feeling like summer. I've been super busy and I don't expect it to slow down any time soon. I've had something pretty exciting happen to me in June. I decided to become a Younique Presenter. You can hear more about that HERE. Anyways, I'm really excited about starting my journey and where it will take me. I have tried a TON of new stuff in June and am trying even more in July. But I've managed to narrow it down to small bunch of stuff to talk about. I am going to be going to Punta Cana at the end of this month so I will be MIA for about a week. April Favorites & Flops

Hey Guys,

Today I'm going to share my favorites and flops for the month of April. I actually had a ton more products that I've been loving but I will some of those for next month. I've kind of been slacking with blog posts lately so I'm not sure if I'll have another post this week. I'm trying to think of other types of posts to do besides favorites, hauls, and product reviews. I am going to be filming a big Spring/Summer fashion haul this week and also plan to do another Stitch Fix unboxing. I have a pretty busy schedule in the next month so OOTD and tutorials are going to be tough since I can only do them on the weekend. What are your favorite types of posts? Let me know below. March Favorites & Flops

Hey Guys,
Now that we are already into April I'm going to share the products that I was loving in March. I don't know how it is everywhere else in the country but its been super cold for this time of year. We are supposed to see at least 60s by April and 30-40s seem to be the average lately. I really hope that I see no more snow until the winter (but nothing will surprise me). While the heat does get to me every now and then, I would take super hot weather over cold weather any day. I am longing for the warm weather and eventually beach days. New England weather totally makes me want to move down south! I have been trying alot of new products the past few months and have been reviewing a ton of products. February Favorites & Flops

Hey Guys,

Today I'm going to share my favorite products for February. I have been trying ALOT of new products. It's hard to narrow down just a few so I have a few more than normal this month. I am trying my best to get reviews banged out so you will see a lot in the coming weeks. I am super excited that spring is almost here. The warm weather and longer days just put me in a better mood. January Favorites

Hey Guys,

I know we are almost half way though February but I felt the need to share my January Favorites. I already took the time to film the video so I figured I would still put it up. Even though we haven't had a super cold or snowy winter, I am so excited that its almost the Spring. I can't wait for longer days and warmer weather. I didn't have anything too exciting happen in the past couple months. However, I have decided to redo my living room which has been pretty exciting. My house has literally looked the same since I first moved into it 5 years ago. I have wanted to change things for quite a while since it's looked the same since when me and my ex first got married. I needed to get the old out and in with the new. My hesitation was that I knew it wasn't going to be cheap. If I could redecorate my whole entire house all at once I definitely would. However, money wise, that's just not that realistic for me. I've decided to do one room at a time and started with my living room. I will do my kitchen and bathrooms this summer. My bedroom decor has changed a little bit over the years but unfortunately all the furniture will stay as is until I move out of this house. As I'm typing this post from my living room couch I look around and it just feels better. It feels like my own now. Not mine and my ex's stuff. Anyways, I know my blog is mainly beauty and fashion but if you guys wanted to see my living room fully redecorated I could post some pics and let you know where I got each of the items. It's still a work in progress but I think I will have most of the decorating finished in the coming weeks. Back to what this post is about, my January Favorites. December Favorites

Hey Guys,

I can't believe we are already half way through January! I have been pretty behind on blog posts and videos. The holiday break got me off track then I got sick. I haven't been super motivated to get all of these videos edited that I have filmed over the past month. It takes so much time and I have been enjoying laying on the couch watching movies instead of glued to my computer every night. I wish there were more hours in a day to do both but for me, it's not realistic. I get out of work at 5:30 p.m. and don't get home until almost 6:00 p.m. (which is way less of a commute than most people in MA). By the time I work out, cook dinner, and sit down its already 7:30-8:00 at night. The last couple of hours before bed I am making lunch, showering, laundry etc so it really doesn't leave much time for blogging/YouTube, looking for a new job, AND relaxing. That being said, I have a TON of reviews I need to get to writing. Many of them are Tarte but I have a handful of other brands as well. I have been trying so many new products lately that I had a hard time picking just a few items to discuss. Check out my video below to see what I was loving last month!

November Favorites + Flops

Today I'm going to share my favorite products for November. I know I am SUPER late at posting this. I feel like I am so behind on posting everything. I filmed a bunch of stuff but just haven't had the time to edit them all. Since I took the time to film my favorites, I figured I would still edit and post it. I'm hoping that since I have the whole week after Christmas off, I will be able to catch up some what on editing videos and finishing blog posts. Luckily, I have every Friday off for the next two months so I'll have some time to prepare and get caught up on blogging/YouTube stuff. I have been testing out new products non stop since Gen Beauty NYC in Sept. All of my beauty favorites are new besides 1 product. I also have one flop. August Favorites

Hey Guys,

I can't believe that the summer is coming to an end. The temperature is starting to get a little cooler and before we know it, Fall will be in full swing. Though I am really sad to see another summer end, I am SUPER excited for Gen Beauty NY at the end of of September. I feel like this is going to be the highlight of 2017 for me. I've never traveled alone so I feel a little sense of independence but more importantly, I get to meet a bunch of wonderful beauty influencers that support me (and vice versa) on a daily basis in our engagement pods. I also extremely excited about the whole Gen Beauty experience itself and the potential to network with brands. I don't want my expectations to be too high as there will be thousands of people there. At the very minimum, I will get to hang out out with a bunch of amazing women and get some free beauty products. I am going to do my very best to try to talk to as many brands as I can but I do understand that there are going to be hundreds of people trying to do the same thing. That being said, lets get into my favorites for this month. As you may have noticed, I have been trying out a ton of Essence Makeup products that they so generously sent to me. I have a bunch that I was especially loving this month. Stay tuned for more reviews of my Essence Favorites. Check out my video below to see what I was loving this month!

July Favorites

Hey Guys,

I'm a bit late on posting my favorites for July but still wanted to get a video filmed. I just got back from Mexico last week. It was so relaxing and the weather and resort were beautiful. We did a day trip to Isle Mujeres where we took a catamaran to the island. We did some snorkeling and swimming off the boat and then docked on the island for some shopping. It was a great trip but I am happy to be home. Whenever I go on vacation I always end up missing home a bit. Check out my video below to see what I was loving for the month of July! June Favorites + Flops

Hey Guys,
I'm a little late on sharing my favorites for June but I still wanted to get the video up! I've been really trying to enjoy the summer by going to the beach and hanging out on the weekends. It feels good to be able to just lay there, listen to music, and do absolutely nothing. Between working full time, exercising, blogging/YouTube, and having a social life you really forget what it feels like to totally disconnect and relax. It feels REALLY good doing this even once a week. Speaking of relaxing, I will be going on vacation to Mexico July 26-August 1st. I am going to try my best to have 1 or 2 posts scheduled for that week but I'm not promising anything! If I can find the time this week to get it done, great! If not, I'm not going to stress about it. I will definitely have a post on the 2nd or 3rd once I get back. I may be able to catch up on social media and reading others blogs in my down time in Mexico since they have wi-fi in the rooms but all I am going to bring is my kindle. Now lets get to the reason for this post. June Favorites. I have been trying out a TON of new stuff the past two months. I had a bunch more things I have been loving but I tried to narrow it down to around 5-8.

May Favorites

Hey Guys,
I can't believe how fast May flew by. I'm sad to see it go but super excited that June is on its way! I love the summer so much and can't wait for warm weather.  I feel like its normally hot by now but it's been weird here. It was nice for short time but has rained a lot lately and hasn't been too warm.  I can't wait for beach weather! I had a good mix of favorites this month. April Favorites

Hey Guys!
I feel like the month of April has come and gone so quickly that I can't even remember it. I really hope that May and the upcoming summer months do the opposite and go by super slow. The warmer months are definitely my favorite. April had some beautiful days in the 60s, 70s, and 80s. I didn't really have anything too eventful in the month. I did the Walk MS in Boston for multiple sclerosis but that's about it. I did my second tutorial ever which you can check out HERE. My birthday is this week which I'm usually excited about.  I have mixed feelings this year since I'm turning 30. In terms of beauty/fashion, I haven't purchased any clothing because I plan to get some money or giftcards for my birthday. Since I am going to Mexico in July I want to buy some cute outfits for that. I also need some new clothing for the summer. My go to's are Fashion Nova and Express. Target also has really cute maxi dresses that I can wear to work. I have however purchased a TON of makeup. Ulta and Sephora had sales and El sent me an early birthday present from ColourPop. I also placed a separate order so stay tuned for another ColourPop haul review. I will be trying out a ton of products this month! Until then, you can check out what I was loving in April below!
