Hey Guys,
Since I created a Best of Beauty 2019 I decided to do a dedicated fashion edition as well. You can check out my Best of Makeup 2019 here and Best of Skincare 2019 here. On to the fashion! Below I will be discussing both specific items as well as trends that I was loving in the past year. There were some standout products/trends that I loved and decided to narrow the list down to things that I was OBSESSED with this past year. Keep reading to hear about the fashion pieces and trends that I was loving in 2019!

Michael Kors Dome Crossbody Bags

Over the years I have become a big fan of Michael Kors handbags. I own a handful of larger bags but I definitely feel like these dome bags are my favorite. I got one of my bags at TJ Maxx, one at the Michael Kors outlet, and one off Poshmark. Even though I carry around a larger bag during the week, I always switch over to these small dome crossbodys on the weekend. They are small enough that they are not a pain to carry but large enough to fit all the essentials plus some. They are perfect for running errands, exploring different places, going out to dinner, or out to bars/clubs. Prior to discovering these crossbodys, I used to use wristlets when I went out to dinner or for drinks because I hated having to carry around a big bag. The negative side of wristlets are that they are small and you can only fit so much in them. You also still have to carry it around your wrist which can get heavy if you have your phone in there. I can be hands free with these crossbodys and they allow me to fit everything from my phone, money/cards, makeup, medicine, my cell phone, and even a small wallet! I am obsessed with these and will be taking one to Italy as my main purse I will use on my trip.

Today I'm going to share another outfit of the day! I did a quick photoshoot last month on my way to dinner with my friend Lisa. It was hot as hell so I was literally melting while taking these pics! I have been living in rompers this summer. They are just so easy (besides when you have to use the bathroom) and there are so many ways to dress them up or down. Light weight cotton ones are also great as cover ups for the beach! I went with my utility romper for this shoot. A few weeks ago I went to my brother's surprise 30th birthday party. There was a cute little patio area right outside of the function room. I thought it was a great opportunity for a quick OOTD photoshoot. I wanted to wear something casual but a little bit dressy so I paired a lace bodysuit with my favorite pair of jeans and wedges. I am seriously in love with off the shoulder bodysuits right now. You will see more once I upload and edit my most recent summer fashion haul. A few Sundays ago I spent Father's Day at my dad's house in Boston and decided to do a quick outfit of the day photo shoot. The weather was beautiful but being in the direct sunlight got hot really quick! I loved the simplicity of my outfit and wanted to share it with you. If you have been reading my blog for a while you know that I'm all about the casual fashion. A pair of cut off jean shorts and a white tie front tee is as casual as you can get! I added a pair of wedges to spice the outfit up a little. I got my shorts from Stitch Fix but linked some similar items in the widget below!

Now that spring is finally here I am able to wear all the clothes that I have purchased over the past few months. One of the trends I discovered last year and am still loving now is the kimono trend. I got one last summer that I wore all the time. I've picked up a couple this year and will probably get a couple more. I think they are perfect for both spring and summer. You can wear them with jeans, leggings or shorts. You can dress them up or down. Wear them to work out out to lunch with friends. Anyways, I had the day off a couple weeks ago and my friend Lisa snapped some pics of me wearing this Kimono from Fashion Nova. I hope to do some more outfit shoots next week if the weather holds up. January Favorites

Hey Guys,

I know we are almost half way though February but I felt the need to share my January Favorites. I already took the time to film the video so I figured I would still put it up. Even though we haven't had a super cold or snowy winter, I am so excited that its almost the Spring. I can't wait for longer days and warmer weather. I didn't have anything too exciting happen in the past couple months. However, I have decided to redo my living room which has been pretty exciting. My house has literally looked the same since I first moved into it 5 years ago. I have wanted to change things for quite a while since it's looked the same since when me and my ex first got married. I needed to get the old out and in with the new. My hesitation was that I knew it wasn't going to be cheap. If I could redecorate my whole entire house all at once I definitely would. However, money wise, that's just not that realistic for me. I've decided to do one room at a time and started with my living room. I will do my kitchen and bathrooms this summer. My bedroom decor has changed a little bit over the years but unfortunately all the furniture will stay as is until I move out of this house. As I'm typing this post from my living room couch I look around and it just feels better. It feels like my own now. Not mine and my ex's stuff. Anyways, I know my blog is mainly beauty and fashion but if you guys wanted to see my living room fully redecorated I could post some pics and let you know where I got each of the items. It's still a work in progress but I think I will have most of the decorating finished in the coming weeks. Back to what this post is about, my January Favorites. OOTD: Summer Lovin' at Plymouth Waterfront

As summer comes to an end I wanted to not only get an OOTD post up (since I said I wanted to do these more often and my last one was May) but also wanted to take the time to visit Plymouth. For those of you unfamiliar with Plymouth, it is where the first pilgrims in the Mayflower landed. Plymouth Rock isn't that exciting but its a huge historical site. Plymouth itself is very beautiful and there are tons of great restaurants and shops to visit. They also have Plymouth Bay Winery which is great if you are local and never been. The wines are very unique and fruity tasting. This past weekend they had their yearly Plymouth Waterfront Festival where that had tons of local crafts/small business owners, food trucks and food stands, entertainment, and fun activities for kids. I decided to head to the festival with Colin and met my parents there. 

It was a beautiful day and not too hot. I wanted to make sure to get some outfit of the day shots before I started walking around and eating everything in site! Lol Keep scrolling to see the outfit I chose to wear to the festival!

May Favorites

Hey Guys,
I can't believe how fast May flew by. I'm sad to see it go but super excited that June is on its way! I love the summer so much and can't wait for warm weather.  I feel like its normally hot by now but it's been weird here. It was nice for short time but has rained a lot lately and hasn't been too warm.  I can't wait for beach weather! I had a good mix of favorites this month.
