This box is $25.00 a month and includes 5 full sized products. You are able to choose 3 of the products in your box and Ipsy chooses 2 for you. Ipsy's picks are based of your beauty quiz/product reviews. They also offer a quarterly upgrade from your Glam Bag Plus called Glam Bag X. This box is $55.00 a quarter and includes 7-8 full sized products from higher end brands. All three subscriptions come with a themed makeup bag each month (different sizes per subscription type). For Glam Bag you are able to pick two items in your bag. With all subscriptions you also have the option to skip a month whenever you feel like it which is a huge bonus offering. They started a new Ipsy OS program where they send their influencers complimentary Ipsy Glam Bag and Glam Bag Plus each month to showcase the subscription to their followers. There are also other perks to this program and I'm so excited and grateful to be part of it. Keep an eye out on my Instagram (@TanyaL527) to see the products featured each month. I decided that I am still going to keep the Glam Bag Plus subscription that I pay for as well because I REALLY love the choice feature that is now offered. Being able to pick what is in your bag is a game changer! I will only review the bag that I pay for on my blog each month an I will share the complimentary bags on Insta stories and on my feed. The theme for this month's bag was Ipsy Magic! Keep reading to see what I got in my bag this month!

Hey Guys,
Today I'm going to share my very first BoxyLuxe! For those of you unfamiliar with BoxyCharm, it is a monthly beauty subscription box. You receive 4-5 FULL SIZED products each month. The subscription is $21.00 a month and usually has a theme. They also offer an upgraded box every quarter called BoxyLuxe. This is an additional $28.99 a quarter.  The theme for December was "Tis The Sea Sun".  I was pretty excited when I saw the first sneak peeks. Review: Tarte Lip Products*

Hey Guys,
Over the next month or so you will see a bunch of reviews of the Tarte products that were sent to me. I have been trying everything out over the past couple of months and wanted to share my overall thoughts on each. Today I will be sharing my thoughts on the lip products that I recieved. Keep reading to hear more!
Review: Tarte Lip Products

Tarte Tarteist Quick Dry Matte Lip Paint in OG $20.00
Review: Tarte Lip Products
Here is what is said about this product on the Tarte site:
"A full coverage, transfer-proof liquid lipstick with a quick-dry matte finish. Offers vibrant, opaque color with concentrated mineral pigments in a liquid-to-matte lip paint that dries instantly with no transferring. The featherlight Comfortflex formula means it moves with your lips without drying out, cracking or bleeding. "
Tarte Lip Products

OG is considered a greige. It pulls a bit on the purple/mauve side on me. It looks lighter in my swatch above. It's darker in person. I really like this color and don't really have anything exactly like it. In terms of formula, I really love the quick dry matte lip paints. I like the Creamy matte lip paints a bit more as I feel they are a little more comfortable on the lips. However, there are many more shades in this formula. This color is super pigmented and is long wearing. It does need to be reapplied after eating and drinking. I do suggest applying lip balm before wearing as it will help moisturize your lips and prevent your lips from drying out.

Hey Guys,
Today I'm going to share my thoughts on the Tarte Tarteist Pro Glow palette that I picked up a month or so ago. Sephora now has these "Weekly Wows" deals where products are 50% off. This palette was included on one of those weekly deals. Normally its $45 and I got it for $22.50! It was such an amazing deal that I couldn't pass it up. Review: Tarte Tarteist Pro Amazonian Clay Palette

Hey Guys,
Today I'm finally going to share my thoughts on the Tarte Tarteist Pro Palette that I picked up at Gen Beauty NYC. Several people asked me to review this product. As you guys  know, I'm a huge fan of Tarte products in general. When this palette first came out I didn't feel the urge to buy it. However, after seeing it in person at Gen Beauty I decided to pick it up. Tarte was offering their products at a discount priced and I thought it was a great deal. I have filmed two tutorials using this palette. You can check out the first one HERE. Stay tuned for the second one in the next couple weeks. Keep reading to hear my thoughts on this palette and to see some swatches!

Review: Tarte Don't Quit Your Day Dream Palette

Hey Guys,
A few months ago I purchased the Tarte Maneater palette which I reviewed HERE. I mentioned that when I was in the store, I also swatched the Tarte Don't Quit Your Day Dream Palette. I had a hard time making a decision but chose to get the Maneater palette. Even though I love that palette, I kept thinking about the other palette. My birthday was in May and I knew I was going to get a $10.00 coupon. Once I got it, I decided to buy the other palette as well. I have been using this palette for about a month now. Keep reading to hear my thoughts!

This is an Ulta exclusive palette that comes with 5 microshimmers, 2 mattes, and a eye/cheek highlighter.

May Favorites

Hey Guys,
I can't believe how fast May flew by. I'm sad to see it go but super excited that June is on its way! I love the summer so much and can't wait for warm weather.  I feel like its normally hot by now but it's been weird here. It was nice for short time but has rained a lot lately and hasn't been too warm.  I can't wait for beach weather! I had a good mix of favorites this month. Check out my video below to see what I was loving!

Tutorial: Tarte Maneater Palette

Hey Guys,
Today I am going to share my second ever makeup tutorial! I haven't attempted a tutorial since the first one that I created in 2015. It took so long between my camera battery dying, memory card getting full, and not really being able to tell what was actually in frame never mind editing. A couple weeks ago I had a Saturday where I didn't have plans until dinner so I decided to take the time to film another tutorial. I have a monitor that I have facing me as part my filming set up so that I can see when I am out of frame in my camera. This time around I made sure my memory card was empty and my battery fully charged.

I would say that filming was a lot easier with the monitor and things went more smoothly. However, I have been filming on auto focus for about a year or so. I switched because I film alot when I am by myself. Manual focus is pretty tough when you are alone because you have no one to sit in for you while you adjust your camera settings. So after filming was done everything looked fine. Once I uploaded my images and video onto my laptop I realized that alot of my pictures were blurry and so was the video at times. Come to find out, my camera kept focusing in on the flowers on my backdrop instead of my face. This is super frustrating because I worked so hard on this video. I decided it wasn't too blurry and it was only at certain times so I decided to go forward and publish this video.

I bought new fabric that is a plain dark gray. I am going to use this going forward but am also thinking about filming in manual again. I would love everyone's input in opinion/tips on this.

The palette that I used for this tutorial is the Tarte Maneater Palette. You can see my review HERE.

Check out my video below to see my tutorial!

March Favorites

Hey Guys,
I'm so glad that its April! Even though I hate to see time fly by, I am so looking forward to warmer weather. It was pretty cold in March but it actually felt like spring yesterday. March was a pretty good month for me. I saw Florida Georgia Line in concert at Mohegan Sun (post HERE), I booked a trip to Mexico for July, I bought tickets to FGL/BSB/Nelly at Fenway Park and Justin Bieber at Gilette Stadium for this summer. One of the resolutions that I made for 2017 is that I have decided to spend more of my money on "experiences" that will create life long memories instead of material things. I had a bunch of new favorites this month. Check out my video below to see what I was loving!

Review: Tarte Maneater Palette

Hey Guys,
Today I am going to share my thoughts on the Tarte Maneater palette! I don't own many Tarte palettes. The only ones that I have ever had were the limited edition Holiday palettes. While they were pretty, they just seemed underwhelming to me. I never really reached for them over my other palettes. A couple months ago the Tarte Maneater palette was released. For whatever reason, this palette really interested me. All of the colors looked like ones that I would use. I decided to go to Ulta and swatch the palette in person. I was on the fence between this palette and the Tarte Double Duty Don't Quit Your Day Dream eyeshadow palette. They were both the same price and swatched beautifully. I decided on the Maneater Palette because I thought it was a little bit more versatile.  Keep reading to hear my thoughts on this palette!

Tarte Maneater Palette
It looks like this is a limited edition palette. It is no longer on the Ulta site. I'm not sure if it's out of stock or gone. I did find it on the Tarte site which I linked above.

January Favorites

Hey Guys,
Today I'm going to share my favorite products for January! I know that I am going to probably jinx myself saying this but we have had a very mild winter here in MA. It hasn't been extremely cold nor has it snowed alot. I'm really looking forward to next month as I am going to Mohegan Sun Casino in Connecticut to see Florida Georgia Line! They have quickly become one of my favorite groups of all time which is weird considering that I don't really like country music. Nonetheless, I have fallen in love with this group and their new album Dig Your Roots has really touched my soul. I'm not a religious person but there is something about this album that just really moves me on so many levels. I love many different types of music but there is something different about these artists. I feel like their music has helped me heal from things in my life in a way...I can't really explain it. I love their focus on family, love, and living a simple life. Their morals, values, and messages are just so real and inspiring. Anyways, if you like country or even if you don't... check them out! My favorite songs from there new album are H.O.L.Y., Life is a Honeymoon, Dig Your Roots, May We All, Grow Old, and Wish You Were On It. Back to the real reason for writing this post, check out my video below to see the products that I was loving this month!
