Hey Guys,
Today I'm going to share my thoughts on the Lime Crime Venus XL II palette. This is the first product that I've purchased from Lime Crime. The brand has been on my radar for many years but I've chosen to purchase from other brands due to the controversy following the owner of the brand. That being said, the brand is now owned by a private company and they also have a new CEO. Lime Crime is know for their fun and colorful makeup products and is now available at Ulta. Keep reading to hear my thoughts about this palette!

Review: Lime Crime Venus XL II Palette
This palette seemed unique enough from my collection to justify the price tag. I also waited to purchase it until I could use my 20% off Ulta coupon. I am not big on colorful shadows but this was neutral enough to interest me.

Beauty Box Throw Down: BoxyCharm Aug 2019 vs Ipsy Glam Bag Plus Aug 2019

Hey Guys,
I've decided to add a new addition to my blog when it comes to beauty reviews. Today will be my first Beauty Box Throw Down. As many of you know, I have been subscribed to BoxyCharm for a few years now and do monthly box reviews. I recently signed up for Ipsy's Glam Bag Plus and this will be my second month getting that box. Since I am signed up for BoxyLuxe I will only be doing this when I get both boxes that are comparable in price. Beauty Box Throw Down will be very similar to the regular reviews that I do where I show the products, link the products, share my thoughts, and the box total value. However, the difference with this is that I will also let you guys know which box that I think is a better value. So lets jump right in!
Beauty Box Throw Down: BoxyCharm Aug 2019 vs Ipsy Glam Bag Plus Aug 2019
First I'm going to share my thoughts on my BoxyCharm for August! For those of you unfamiliar with BoxyCharm, it is a monthly beauty subscription box. You receive 4-5 FULL SIZED products each month. The subscription is $21.00 a month and usually has a theme. They also offer an upgraded box every quarter called BoxyLuxe. This is an additional $28.99 a quarter.  The theme for August is "Totally Boxy". I was pretty excited to see that a Becca Powder and Tarte Mascara was going to be featured in the box.  Keep reading to see what I got and to hear my thoughts. Also, make sure to check out the discount codes below for the month!

OOTD: Newport Vineyards

Hey Guys,
I have recently taken the time to capture more of my OOTD (outfit of the day) so that I can share them with you. These kind of posts are always fun and allow me to style pieces rather than just show you clothing that I purchased in a haul video. I am going to do my best to share these type of posts at least once a month or once every other month. It will depend on how many blog posts I get up and if the weather is willing to cooperate or not (as well as if Colin is willing to take the pictures lol). While I love fashion, I am not standing outdoors in the winter with no jacket on just to get a shot. So as of right now, while the weather is warm and the days are longer plan to see more of these type of posts.

Colin's sister came home to visit from L.A. so we decided to do something fun that weekend. We went to Newport Vineyards in Middletown, RI. I didn't think to take any pictures of the grounds but wanted to share my experience with you guys as well as my fashion for the day.
OOTD: Newport Vineyards
Colin and I are huge wine lovers and attend tastings as much as we can. I've been to a few wineries in MA and think that they are such a fun day trip. I went to Newport Vineyards a couple of  years ago and have wanted to go back ever since. I really enjoyed the wine there and the vineyards are beautiful. They have a couple of restaurants onsite. They also have a brewery for people who are more into beer (or would like to check out both)!

It was the perfect day to go and be outside. The weather was in the low 80's and sunny. We did a wine tasting first where we got to try 6 wines. It did get a little hot in the sun doing the tastings but luckily they had canopies to stand under. We grabbed lunch at the Taproot Brewing Company which is part of the same building as the winery. I liked that you could purchase flights to sample different wines/beers however, I wish I went to Brix Restaurant instead. They just had more offerings food wise. One side note...if you are ordering the cheese board at either places; 3 choices of cheese legit gives you 3 little pieces of cheese lol. The last time I was here I remember getting more but things have changed a lot since then. We were really surprised when our cheese plate came for the 3 of us to share. It  only included  3 little pieces of cheese with some jam, nuts, and bread. Don't get me wrong; it was good but the serving was enough for maybe one person and definitely not three. On the other hand, the Bacon and Taproot Beer Cheese dip was amazing. Overall, it was a great day and I highly suggest checking out this winery if you are in MA /RI or visiting the area!

Review: Fumi x Juvia's Place The Queen Collection

*PR Samples. However, the thoughts and opinions in this post are my own. I am always 100% honest in my reviews for all products discussed on my blog. This post contains referral links. Hey Guys,
Today I want to share the new Juvia's Place collection with you! I was super excited last week to get an email informing me that I would be getting a package from Juvia's place. I filled out a PR form a while back so it was a nice surprise. For those of you unfamiliar with Juvia's Place it is a beauty brand that caters to people of color. The beauty industry hasn't always kept women of color in mind when creating beauty products. Juvia's Place was created by Chichi Eburu to fill that void and not only offer high quality yet affordable beauty products to people of color but for people of all colors.
Review: Fumi x Juvia's Place The Queen Collection
The new collection is a collaboration with Fumi Desalu-Vold who is an actress, model, blogger, and YouTuber. This collaboration has been in the works for about two years and finally launched last week. Fumi wanted to create a collection that not only stayed true to her style/essence but one that also represented the strength and beauty of women world wide; thus the Fumi x Juvia's Place Queen Collection was born. Keep reading to learn about each of the products in the collections as well as my thoughts on the palette that I received!
