Review: ColourPop No Filter Foundation, Loose Powder, and Pressed Powder

Hey Guys,
I've been purchasing a ton of ColourPop lately. It feels like they continue to drop new products on a weekly basis. I think I'm done for a while but we will see...So as soon as ColourPop came out with their No Filter Concealers (review HERE) last summer I KNEW they had to come out with foundations in the near future. I was so amped for the day they would release them. Finally after almost a 9 months they launched their No Filter Foundation. They also rolled out some pressed and loose setting powders. Keep reading to hear my thoughts on each!

Hey Guys,
A few weeks ago I went to my brother's surprise 30th birthday party. There was a cute little patio area right outside of the function room. I thought it was a great opportunity for a quick OOTD photoshoot. I wanted to wear something casual but a little bit dressy so I paired a lace bodysuit with my favorite pair of jeans and wedges. I am seriously in love with off the shoulder bodysuits right now. You will see more once I upload and edit my most recent summer fashion haul. Both my top and bottom are from Fashion Nova but I will also link similar pieces below if you are not a fan of that site.

June Favorites & Flops

Hey Guys!
Today I'm going to share my favorites and flops for the month of June. The month really flew by and its definitely feeling like summer. I've been super busy and I don't expect it to slow down any time soon. I've had something pretty exciting happen to me in June. I decided to become a Younique Presenter. You can hear more about that HERE. Anyways, I'm really excited about starting my journey and where it will take me. I have tried a TON of new stuff in June and am trying even more in July. But I've managed to narrow it down to small bunch of stuff to talk about. I am going to be going to Punta Cana at the end of this month so I will be MIA for about a week. Once I get back I will be back to my normal blogging schedule. Until then, check out what I was loving in June in the video below!

Review: Younique Moodstruck 3D Fiber Lashes & Epic Mascara PLUS Special Announcement!

*This post contains presenter links. That means if you click on my link and buy something, I will earn a small commission at no additional cost to you. Thank you for supporting Leopard Lace and Cheesecake!

Hey Guys,
Today I'm going to share a review of the Younique Moodstruck 3D Fiber Lash and the Epic Mascara. Before I get into the review I wanted to finally announce that I have decided to become a Younique Presenter. I announced it about a month ago on my personal Facebook and to my family and friends. I decided to wait to announce it on my blog for a few reasons. The first is because I wanted to have a solid review ready before I make my announcement on here. I also want to keep it SOMEWHAT separate in the sense that I don't want my readers to think that ALL they are going to see on my blog going forward are Younique reviews. While I am going to mix in some posts about Younique products, I am also going to continue to review and post about all different beauty brands. I will also continue my fashion posts as well. That being said, I will always be honest about products that I love and don't love. If you have followed me for a while you will know that I don't completely rip apart products that I don't like. If something doesn't work for me personally then I say it but that doesn't mean don't try it for yourself. There are things people LOVE that I really don't like and vice versa. The same goes with Younique products. There will be products that I love and others that you may see in my monthly Favorites & Flops.
Review: Younique Moodstruck 3D Fiber Lashes & Epic Mascara
So why did I join Younique? I have been blogging since 2013 with very little monetary reward. Do I get free products from time to time? Yes. But I am not making a steady income with blogging or YouTube. I'm also at a point in my life where I am an ready for a change. I have worked at the same 8-5 job for ten years doing administrative work and wanted to try something different. Beauty has always been a huge passion in my life. I worked at the Estee Lauder counter at Macy's back in college then started working in an administrative role at an IT company once I was almost finished with college. Now, ten years later, beauty is still a very big interest of mine. However, working at Sephora or Ulta just won't pay my bills and the hours aren't attractive to me. I am very much a business woman so I decided to try something different. A mix of beauty and business. Where this journey will take me? I have no idea but I decided taking a chance and trying something is better than doing nothing at all. I was also really inspired and touched by the story behind Younique.  You can watch a short video of the CEO Derek Maxfield explaining why and how he started Younique HERE.

That being said, expect to see a review on Younique products from time to time. If you are interested in becoming a Younique Presenter, hosting an online party, or if you have any questions about the business model or products, feel free to email me or DM me on Facebook or Instagram! I have a Facebook group that anyone is more than welcome to join where I discuss the products and share current promotions. You can also check out the product line on my website www.tanyasbeautycorner.com

Now on to the review! So I originally reviewed Younique's Moodstruck 3D Fiber Lashes back in 2015 which you can check out HERE. I was a huge fan of the product when I first tried it. Younique ended up having to change the formula when the manufacturer started selling their product to 3rd parties. I bought the second formula and honestly wasn't a fan. The formula was really dry and didn't produce the same results. A Younique presenter ended up adding me on Facebook 6 months to a year ago. I read her posts about the products here and there and finally reached out with questions about the current formula. I wanted to give the 3D Fiber Lash another try but was hesitant. I asked about their return policy in case I didn't love it again. She must have seen something in me because she offered to send me the 3D Fiber Lashes for free but also wanted to send me their other best selling product which is their Moodstruck Epic Mascara. Below I will briefly review both the 3D Fiber Lashs and Epic Mascara. I will also share some photos of my results.

OOTD: Casual Sunday

*This post contains affiliate links. That means if you click on my link and buy something, I will earn a small commission from the advertiser at no additional cost to you. Thank you for supporting Leopard Lace and Cheesecake!

Hey Guys,
A few Sundays ago I spent Father's Day at my dad's house in Boston and decided to do a quick outfit of the day photo shoot. The weather was beautiful but being in the direct sunlight got hot really quick! I loved the simplicity of my outfit and wanted to share it with you. If you have been reading my blog for a while you know that I'm all about the casual fashion. A pair of cut off jean shorts and a white tie front tee is as casual as you can get! I added a pair of wedges to spice the outfit up a little. I got my shorts from Stitch Fix but linked some similar items in the widget below!
