It's been quite a while since I did an outfit of the day post. I really love doing them but finding the time on the weekend is what is tough for me. We are always on the go so taking the time to snap some pics is something that I need to get better at. I don't do many indoor outfit pics but with winter right around the corner I may try to change that. I wanted to take the time to do an outfit post sharing my favorite fall fashion staples. I have been so obsessed with cropped peasant blouses, booties, and snakeskin this season. I really enjoyed taking pieces that I envisioned together and bringing the outfit to life. I hope everyone is staying safe and finding things to stay busy during this crazy time in the world. I have been home for over a month and am starting to get a little antsy. As much as it pains me to write this my trip to Italy in May is postponed (until when? who knows). I have been preparing for this trip for quite a while and had purchased a bunch of clothes from Fashion Nova. I also have an Amazon Fashion wish list for it as well. I haven't really purchased too much since everything went down besides food and wine (and my month subscription boxes). I have been trying to think of fashion content that I could create and since outfit of the day most likely won't happen any time soon I decided to share my Spring Fashion wish list. These are things that have been in the back of my mind that I wanted to purchase for my trip. I have been living in sweatpants and leggings lately but they are pieces that I can also wear once everything is somewhat back to normal. Keep reading to see we what's on my list!

Hey Guys,

Today I wanted to share a great transitional staple for the for the Spring/Summer and Summer/Fall seasons...the kimono! I have so many and think that they are just so fun and versatile. You can easily dress them up or down and they also work in most seasons. You could really wear these in the winter too but I stick to heavier cardigans and such just because its so cold in New England during the winter months. Kimonos are great layering pieces to be worn over dresses, dress pants, jeans, shorts, and skirts! That is why I think they are a great staple piece. Below I am wearing them with jean shorts, a tank, and wedges for a more casual end of the summer look. I have also worn this same cardigan with a longer tank top, leggings, and flats to work. Today I'm going to share another outfit of the day! I did a quick photoshoot last month on my way to dinner with my friend Lisa. It was hot as hell so I was literally melting while taking these pics! I have been living in rompers this summer. They are just so easy (besides when you have to use the bathroom) and there are so many ways to dress them up or down. Light weight cotton ones are also great as cover ups for the beach! I went with my utility romper for this shoot. A few weeks ago I went to my brother's surprise 30th birthday party. There was a cute little patio area right outside of the function room. I thought it was a great opportunity for a quick OOTD photoshoot. I wanted to wear something casual but a little bit dressy so I paired a lace bodysuit with my favorite pair of jeans and wedges. I am seriously in love with off the shoulder bodysuits right now. You will see more once I upload and edit my most recent summer fashion haul. A few Sundays ago I spent Father's Day at my dad's house in Boston and decided to do a quick outfit of the day photo shoot. The weather was beautiful but being in the direct sunlight got hot really quick! I loved the simplicity of my outfit and wanted to share it with you. If you have been reading my blog for a while you know that I'm all about the casual fashion. A pair of cut off jean shorts and a white tie front tee is as casual as you can get! Now that spring is finally here I am able to wear all the clothes that I have purchased over the past few months. One of the trends I discovered last year and am still loving now is the kimono trend. I got one last summer that I wore all the time. I've picked up a couple this year and will probably get a couple more. I think they are perfect for both spring and summer. You can wear them with jeans, leggings or shorts. You can dress them up or down. Wear them to work out out to lunch with friends. Anyways, I had the day off a couple weeks ago and my friend Lisa snapped some pics of me wearing this Kimono from Fashion Nova. I hope to do some more outfit shoots next week if the weather holds up. Spring/Summer Fashion Haul Part 2: Fashion Nova

Today I am sharing part 2 of my Spring/Summer fashion haul and try on. All the items in this haul are from Fashion Nova. As you know, I've had some complaints about this company in the past. I took a little break but have slowly started buying from them again starting at the beginning of the year. I have noticed that their shipping has been alot better and I haven't received random emails for giftcards because they couldn't fill my orders. I think they are taking in peoples complains and working on improving them. One issue that I still have is that they are out of stock on so many items and aren't able to restock quickly if at all. That being said, their clothes are very affordable and fit into my budget. The quality of their close are also very good. Anyways, to see what I picked up, check out my video below!

Spring/Summer Fashion Haul Part 1: Target, Primark, Express, & H&M

For the first time in years I have been slacking with getting 2 blog posts up per week. I just haven't had much content ready for reviews and had a huge fashion haul I was waiting to film. I finally got around to filming and editing the haul.  I am currently working on a few different beauty reviews so hopefully by next week I will be back to 2 posts a week. I also have a Switch Fix coming Friday so I will most likely do an unboxing and try on. Lastly, I've ordered some other fashion items including sneakers, bags, and some more clothing so I'm not sure if I should do another haul video? I am very active on Instagram so if you don't see anything on here make sure to check out what I have going on over there. Sometimes I post mini reviews and swatches on my IG page. I also post makeup looks pretty often too. Back to this post... I've purchased a ton of clothes over the past few months from the Spring and Summer. I filmed a fashion haul and try on that was over 40 minutes long so I decided to split it up into two videos. This first video features clothing from Target, Primark, Express, and H&M. OOTD: Leather & Liquor

Hey Guys,
Today I'm going to share an outfit of the day look from a few weeks ago when I visited Hingham Launch. We went to lunch at Whalberger's which is a burger joint owned by Mark & Donnie Whalberg as well as their brother Paul. The food is great and their alcoholic milkshakes are out of this world. Anyways, Hingham Launch is a shopping area right by the water at the shipyard. I figured it would be a nice place to take pics. It was a bit windy but I think they came out alright. I listed all the items I was wearing below and also found some similar items as well since not every item is still available. A few items were from Primark which is hard to find the exact items online. They have a limited shop site so and its euros so I also found some similar style items elsewhere.

Fall Fashion Haul

OOTD: Summer Lovin' at Plymouth Waterfront

Hey Guys,

As summer comes to an end I wanted to not only get an OOTD post up (since I said I wanted to do these more often and my last one was May) but also wanted to take the time to visit Plymouth. For those of you unfamiliar with Plymouth, it is where the first pilgrims in the Mayflower landed. Plymouth Rock isn't that exciting but its a huge historical site. Plymouth itself is very beautiful and there are tons of great restaurants and shops to visit. They also have Plymouth Bay Winery which is great if you are local and never been. The wines are very unique and fruity tasting. This past weekend they had their yearly Plymouth Waterfront Festival where that had tons of local crafts/small business owners, food trucks and food stands, entertainment, and fun activities for kids. I decided to head to the festival with Colin and met my parents there. 

It was a beautiful day and not too hot. I wanted to make sure to get some outfit of the day shots before I started walking around and eating everything in site! Lol Keep scrolling to see the outfit I chose to wear to the festival!

Fashion Nova Summer Fashion Haul and Try On

Hey Guys,
I ordered a bunch of dresses and stuff for my upcoming trip to Mexico. I am going to a resort where there is a dress code at the restaurants. They aren't super strict for woman as long as you have a dress on or pants of some sort. I also wanted to grab a new bathing suit as well. I have been very frustrated with Fashion Nova and don't think I will be purchasing from them any more. I go into details about the issues I've had in my video. I also spoke with a manager via email last week and she basically never responded to my last email. I wasn't the nicest in it but I am just so fed up with their customer service and return process. I normally don't like to talk bad about companies but I have spent over a thousand dollars at Fashion Nova and rave about them all the time. I give them free advertising and I just don't feel like they don't value their customers. It really sucks because I really love their clothes and their prices are great. In the long run though, customer service is what is most important to me. Check out my video below to see what I picked up!
