Hey Guys,
I am in the home stretch of my pregnancy and wanted to share some items that I felt were absolutely necessary for me during my third trimester. You can check out my First and Second Trimester must haves HERE. Pregnancy symptoms/pains/overall experience is can be very different person to person. These are the things that helped me specifically. Keep reading to hear more!

Pregnancy Must Haves: Third Trimester

Pregnancy Pillow

Pregnancy Must Haves: Third Trimester

I talked about pregnancy pillows back in my other post but they definitely used way more in the 2nd/3rd trimester. I use mine every night. I will link the one that I have but I actually wish that I got a different one because mine has a thinner size that you can zip off the piece which is handy if you like to use just the little pillow between  your legs after pregnancy. However, I wish that I got a pregnancy pillow that was the same thickness all around. I try my best to sleep on my left side and that is the side with the thinner pillow on the one that I have. Either way I can't say how necessary one of these is towards the end of your pregnancy. I will link a few different options below!

Foot Spa

My feet started swelling bad about 2 weeks ago. You are supposed to limit sodium, keep your feet elevated when you can, and I was also advised to use a pool as much as possible as the water somehow pulls the water from your feet and distributes it back in or something of that nature. I will say that this weekend my feet were the least swollen they have been in weeks and I was in a pool for an hour or so on both Saturday and Sunday. That being said, soaking your feet in water and Epsom Salt was also a suggestion. It doesn't work as good but it does feel nice to have your feet getting massaged by the jets in a foot spa. I have been trying to use this more during the week nights when I can't get to a pool.

Compression Socks

On the same lines of swelling feet I bought some compression socks to try to help with the swelling. Getting up and moving around and not standing or sitting for long periods of time is supposed to help. However, working from home (and in the office) I often am seated for long periods of time. The compression socks are kind of hard to get on because they are meant to be tight but they have helped some what keep the swelling down.

Comfy Sandals

Still on the feet issue literally none of my shoes fit. The only things that fit were my flip flops but even those were tight. I managed to find some sandals that are very comfy on my swollen fit. Both are slides. I did size up in both but I will link both pairs. The A New Day sandals are definitely more cute and fashionable. The Pillow Slides from Amazon definitely aren't the most fashionable but let me tell you they are so comfy on my sore swollen feet!

Stretch Mark Cream

I have also been using a stretch mark lotion from the very beginning when I first found out that I was pregnant. The Palmer's brand is what I have been using all along. They sell a lotion, cream, belly butter, and oil. I have been using the lotion all over my body and the oil and belly butter on my stomach religiously. They sell a trial set that comes with all of the above if you want to try them all or you can purchase each product separately.

Body Glide For Her Anti Chafe Balm

Being pregnant in the spring and summer you are more likely to wear dresses and shorts if you live in New England but if you live on the west coast this could help you all year round. I have been getting major chafing between my thighs so I purchased this anti chafing balm that is basically like a deodorant. You apply it to wear you are getting chafing and let it dry and it helps that skin not rub. This can be used in many places that run not just the thighs. That is just my problem area.

VS No Show Panties

Underwear are another thing that has become an issue as I have gotten bigger. Certain briefs, thongs, etc just aren't comfy anymore. I found a really comfy style of thongs and briefs from VS Pink that I swear by. They are so thin and stretchy and breathable. I will link those below as well as super stretchy boy shorts that I wear to bed that I found on Amazon.

Bra Extender

I have always been small chested and while my tatas have definitely grown its not enough to need to size up a  whole cup size in my bras. That being said my body itself has gotten bigger. To avoid having to buy larger bras I purchased bra extenders so that I can wear my same bras just extend the strap across the back so they fit comfortably.

Pregnancy Jeans/Shorts

All of my jeans prior to getting pregnant are mid or high rise. Those stopped fitting after a few months of being pregnant. Since then I have tried a few different types of maternity jeans and shorts. The over the belly jeans/shorts are fine but I actually found pairs that have an elastic waistband that don't come up over your belly. For me, these feel much more comfy and I don't feel as restricted. I found them in a few styles on Amazon so I will link all the ones that I own and recommend below.

Lightweight Shorts/Biker Shorts

Having normal jean shorts is great but I also wanted some pairs of light weight shorts I can wear working from home. I have been living in these gauze shorts that I found at Walmart last summer. They are so inexpensive and comfy. I just sized up in them to a large. I also have been living in biker shorts as they are comfy and easy to work out in (and prevents chafing). I will make sure to link some of my favorite of each of these styles below.

Maternity Shirts/Long Tanks

Having longer tee shirts and tanks helps as your baby bump continues to grow. I am someone that wore a lot of crop tops which is just not a thing as your belly starts to pop. I have been reaching for my maternity tops and longer tanks as they are what is most comfortable and also covers my whole belly.

Maxi Dresses

Having some go to maxi dresses are not only comfortable but cute when you are going out to dinner or doing something where you want to be a little more put together. I have a few that I have been loving from Shein which I will link below.

Famotidine

Lastly, this is definitely I recommend that you consult your doctor about before taking but I am someone that has suffered from acid reflux for years. I took Famotidine (Pepcid AC) pretty regularly before pregnancy. I stopped for a while but but heartburn/acid reflux has gotten pretty bad 3rd trimester. I got the OK from my doctor before hand but have been taking this daily. Tums and chewable anti acids only work so well. Famotidine/Pepcid AC works a lot better for me.

I hope that this post helped you find some products that will make your 3rd trimester a little bit easier!
