Hey Guys,
I'm hear to share my thoughts on some products that I purchased from Gerard Cosmetics. For those of you unfamiliar with Gerard Cosmetics, it is an cruelty free indie brand owned by Jen Gerard. They are most known for their lip products and Slay All Day Setting Spray. However, their teeth whitening products are also really popular. Keep reading to hear about the products that I picked up!

Review: ColourPop No Filter Foundation Stix

Hey Guys,
Today I'm going to share my thoughts on the ColourPop No Filter Foundation Stix which is long over due! I picked this up a couple of months ago and have been meaning to share my thoughts. Keep reading to hear about this product and what I thought of it!

Review: ColourPop No Filter Foundation Stix
Here is what is said about this product on the ColourPop Site:
"Swipe, blend, and go with No Filter Stix. It conceals, corrects and perfects, for a flawless complexion in seconds. Its medium-buildable coverage instantly blurs pores, covers blemishes, and blends effortlessly, for a natural skin-like finish. Never cakey or drying, this stick glides on for the easiest application. Perfectly portable, take it on-the-go for mess-free touch ups anytime, anywhere."

Here is a swatch of the shade that I picked up Light 67N:

On to my thoughts:
I was super excited about trying this foundation stick. I haven't used any type of stick foundation since Jr. High when I used to use the one by Maybelline. This ColourPop one got a lot of positive reviews and the price point is very good. After using the product myself I have decided it's not for me. Using a brush definitely works better to blend out the product over a beauty sponge. That being said, I feel like you had to layer it more than once to get any sort of medium coverage. I don't like powdery looks and to me this gave that look. It lasted okay throughout the day but I got alot of breakdown on the chin area while my forehead area looked dry. The color was also off which I feel like was the case with their liquid foundation too. I took the quiz and it gave me 2 neutral options. I don't feel like the color is a great match for me and it's super annoying that ColourPop doesn't do returns. There are no ColourPop stores so when you buy something and you aren't happy with it, you are stuck with it. Overall, I have been pretty disappointed in ColourPop's complexion products. I do like their concealer but their liquid foundation, pressed powder, loose powder, and stick foundation have all been fails for me. It really surprises me because I feel that their color products are awesome. Anyways, overall I don't recommend this product but for $10.00 I think you would need to try it out for yourself to decide. I plan on trying it one more time.

Hey Guys,
Today I'm going to share my very first BoxyLuxe! For those of you unfamiliar with BoxyCharm, it is a monthly beauty subscription box. You receive 4-5 FULL SIZED products each month. The subscription is $21.00 a month and usually has a theme. They also offer an upgraded box every quarter called BoxyLuxe. This is an additional $28.99 a quarter.  The theme for December was "Tis The Sea Sun".  I was pretty excited when I saw the first sneak peeks. I skipped on the September BoxyLuxe because the additional items that were in Luxe didn't interest me that month. However, I was really interested in the December box! Keep reading to see what I got and to hear my thoughts. Also, make sure to check out the discount codes below for the month!

Hey Guys,
Today I'm going to share my Winter FabFitFun Box. This is my second quarterly box and I'm hooked! For those of you unfamiliar with FabFitFun its a quarterly subscription that you get every season. The box is filled with beauty, fashion, home, and lifestyle items and the fun part is you are able to pick some of the items! There are a handful of items that everyone gets then there are 3 items regular quarterly subscribers are able to pick (you usually have 2 choices to pick from). If you purchase a year in advance you are able to pick 5 items in your box. You also have the option to add on additional products. I really like the variety this box offers. Keep reading to see what I got!
