Hey Guys,
Today I'm going to share my very first BoxyLuxe! For those of you unfamiliar with BoxyCharm, it is a monthly beauty subscription box. You receive 4-5 FULL SIZED products each month. The subscription is $21.00 a month and usually has a theme. They also offer an upgraded box every quarter called BoxyLuxe. This is an additional $28.99 a quarter.  The theme for December was "Tis The Sea Sun".  I was pretty excited when I saw the first sneak peeks. I skipped on the September BoxyLuxe because the additional items that were in Luxe didn't interest me that month. However, I was really interested in the December box! Keep reading to see what I got and to hear my thoughts. Also, make sure to check out the discount codes below for the month!

Violet Voss Po HG Palette $45.00
Review: BoxyLuxe December 2018
I was really excited about this palette. I already own the Violet Voss x Laura Lee palette so I am familiar with the brand. The colors are ones I use on a regular basis. In terms of quality, this palette is a bit disappointing. The shadows aren't as pigmented as I hoped they would be. You have to build up the color a lot. They do blend nice though. I will keep playing around with it to see if it grows on me.

SUVA Beauty Protege Palette $34.00
Review: BoxyLuxe December 2018
I got to choose between this palette and a mini straightener. I have really long hair so the mini straighter really wasn't beneficial to me. I decided to choose this palette. I have never heard of the brand but the colors look really pretty! I love that there are both warm and cool shades as well as mattes, shimmers, and highlighters. If I wear any cool tones its usually purple/mauve colors like in this palette. After using this palette I am really impressed with the pigmentation, creaminess, and wear time of these shadows. They looked amazing and didn't crease at all!

Elemis Pro Collagen Marine Cream $89.00
Review: BoxyLuxe December 2018
I have never tried any Elemis products but I hear great things. This product is $89.00 so it's crazy this was included in the box! I am excited to try this day cream out!

Spongelle Body Wash Infused Buffer $20.00
Review: BoxyLuxe December 2018
I have heard of this brand but never tried it. It's not too exciting but I am interested to see how I like it. I am sensitive to scented body washes etc so I hope my skin doesn't react badly. We will see. After using I am happy to report I didn't have any reaction. It smells nice and is a great buffing sponge!

Tarte Cosmetics Glitter Lip Paint in Insta-Famous $20.00
Review: BoxyLuxe December 2018
I'm a big fan of Tarte Cosmetics but not huge on glosses. I need to read reviews of this to decide if I'm going to keep it or not. I don't like sticky products so if its sticky I will save for a giveaway. It's still a pretty lip topper.

Grande Cosmetics GrandeMascara $25.00
Review: BoxyLuxe December 2018
I am familiar with Grande Cosmetics but have never tried their mascara. I am always willing to try new mascaras. I am looking forward to trying this.

Pretty Vulgar The Powder Room Translucent Setting Powder $32.00
Review: BoxyLuxe December 2018
People were hyping up this powder a lot from all the comments I read. After trying it, it is fine. I don't think its bad at all but I still prefer my Laura Mercier Translucent Setting Powder.

Luxie Rose Gold Complete Face Brush Set $65.00
Review: BoxyLuxe December 2018
I have recieved a good amount of Luxie brushes while being subscribed to BoxyCharm. They are one of my favorite brands of makeup brushes. I don't have this sets so I am excited to use these!

Crimes of Beauty Wristlet & Portable Charger $20.00
Review: BoxyLuxe December 2018
This is a very useful little set. The wristlet is a good size and is a good makeup bag for my purse. The charger is light weight and has multiple connections which is nice. However, it makes a questionable buzzing sound when using it with your phone.

TOTAL VALUE: $350.00

Overall, I was really impressed with this box! It had an amazing value as well. $350 worth of products for $49.99...not bad at all! I am really excited to continue to try all the products in this box. The January BoxyCharm spoilers also have me pretty pumped for this months box. So far we are getting 1 of 3 different Tarte palettes, 1 of 3 lip products from either Bite Beauty, Ofra Cosmetics, or Smith & Cult, and Tatcha Paper Face Masks! I can't say enough great things about BoxyCharm. I have been subbed for over 2 years and am just blown away by the CEO Yosef Martin, their excellent customer service, amazing products, and the fact that they continue to improve and out do themselves.
