Review: Sponjac Elsa Makeup Warm Lights Palette

Hey Guys,
Today I am going to share my thoughts on a Sponjac palette that I won in Sahony's (lovleesazy) Giveaway. Make sure you check out her IG and YouTube channel. She does tons of awesome tutorials and even has theme weeks where she focuses on specific brands in that week's tutorials. For those of you unfamiliar with Sponjac, they are a French beauty retailer. They are most known for their Konjac Sponges. Sponjac collaborated with Beauty Blogger/YouTuber Elsamakeup to create a makeup line including palettes, lipsticks, brushes, and more. The product that I will be reviewing in this post is the Warm Lights Palette. Keep reading to hear my thoughts!

This palette comes with 15 eyeshadows, 1 blush, and 1 highlighter. There are a mix of matte and shimmer shadows. There are also a mix of warm and cool shades. The blush is said to be "irridiscent" to give a natural glow and the highlighter has a satin finish. The palette also includes a large mirror on the inside.

The packaging is really cute and reminds me of the Too Faced holiday palettes. Compared to other palettes this cardboard palette is pretty quite large. The shadows are HUGE and the blush and highlighter is a nice size. I have compared the sizing to one of the Too Faced holiday palettes below.

Mini ColourPop Haul

Hey Guys,
I picked up some ColourPop products quite a while ago but am just getting around to reviewing them. Some products came back into stock that I had been wanting and they had other items on sale so I decided to place an order. Keep reading to see what I got and to hear what I thought of each item!

Alexis Ren X ColourPop Pressed Powder Face Duo in Topaz $15.00
Mini ColourPop Haul
I was so excited to finally pick up the infamous Topaz palette. I had heard so many great things about this duo. This comes with a matte bronzer called Golden Moment which is a warm bronze tone. It also comes with a pearlized highlighter called She's Here to Stay which is a true gold.

These both have nice pigmentation but I honestly don't really love either of them. The bronzer is okay nothing amazing in my opinion. I feel the same way about the highlighter. Maybe it just looks better on tan or darker skin tones. I will test it out more once I get back from Mexico and I am darker. Right now, I actually prefer the highlighter from the Double Play Face Duo (I love the blush in this palette too).

June Favorites + Flops

Hey Guys,
I'm a little late on sharing my favorites for June but I still wanted to get the video up! I've been really trying to enjoy the summer by going to the beach and hanging out on the weekends. It feels good to be able to just lay there, listen to music, and do absolutely nothing. Between working full time, exercising, blogging/YouTube, and having a social life you really forget what it feels like to totally disconnect and relax. It feels REALLY good doing this even once a week. Speaking of relaxing, I will be going on vacation to Mexico July 26-August 1st. I am going to try my best to have 1 or 2 posts scheduled for that week but I'm not promising anything! If I can find the time this week to get it done, great! If not, I'm not going to stress about it. I will definitely have a post on the 2nd or 3rd once I get back. I may be able to catch up on social media and reading others blogs in my down time in Mexico since they have wi-fi in the rooms but all I am going to bring is my kindle. Now lets get to the reason for this post. June Favorites. I have been trying out a TON of new stuff the past two months. I had a bunch more things I have been loving but I tried to narrow it down to around 5-8.

Check out my video below to hear what I was loving in the month of June!

Review: MorphexJaclynHill Palette

 Hey Guys,
I'm super excited to share my thoughts on the MorphexJaclynHill palette! At first, this palette didn't interest me that much but just like everyone else, I hopped on the band wagon once I saw the swatches. Even though it was a bit pricey for a Morphe palette, I justified my purchase since they claimed this palette contains all new formulas. I also feel like I don't really own a palette quite like this. Below I will discuss my thoughts, share some swatches, and show you some looks that I created with this palette.

This palette is currently out of stock but Morphe has confirmed that they will be restocking it on 7/18 at 8 am PST. However, it is limited edition so it will only be around for a limited time.

Essence Makeup Fall/Winter 2017 Collection Favorites
I thought that these were really cool and fun. I think the metallic lip trend is going to be big this fall. These lipsticks are creamy and have nice pigmentation that is buildable. These are an affordable option if you're not sure if you like this trend and want to try it out. Also, if you already know you love the trend and want to try out all the different colors and not break the bank.
