Essence Makeup Favorite Brow & Eye Products*

Today I am going to share my final Essence Makeup favorites post. I will be sharing my favorite eye and brow products from a bunch of goodies that I received from Essence over the past few months. Style Your Brows! Eyebrow Tool Kit $2.99

I don't know about you but tiny things fascinate me. This kit is super cute but more importantly it is convenient, travel friendly, and is actually a good little brow kit.

This kit comes with 3 items for grooming your brows. Tweezers for shaping, an angled brow brush for contouring, and a spoolie for sculpting. I think all 3 little tools work very well. The tweezers surprised me especially. They do a great job at grasping on to hairs that allows you to pluck the hairs easily. I have had many full sized tweezers that just can't get a good grip on the hair. I think this kit is great for throwing in your purse for touch ups throughout the day. There have been times I've been in my car in the sunlight and I see a stray hair I need to pluck or an eyebrow that needs to be brushed back in place. Not everyone may like the tiny size. However, they are meant to be travel friendly.

Essence Makeup Favorite Face Products

To continue on with my Essence Makeup favorites, today I am going to share face products. I will be discussing some of my favorite bronzers, highlighters, and blushes. You can check out my favorite lip products post HERE. Keep reading to hear about the face products!

Essence Sun Club Matt Bronzing Powder in Lighter Skin $4.99

 Here is what is said about this product on the Ulta site:

"For a sun-kissed, natural complexion! The Essence Sun Club Matt Bronzing Powder conjures up an irresistible natural-looking tan and has a great mattifying effect at the same time!"

On to my thoughts:

At first glance, this bronzer is giant! I also love that it is matte. I prefer matte bronzer over shimmers any day. I think it looks more natural. In the swatches above this looks a little on the orange side but on my face it doesn't look orange at all. I use this on  my cheeks and around my forhead and such. I think it will be best for my skin once I am lighter. The darker shade would definitely work better for medium skin tones. That being said, its a for an everyday natural bronze look to warm up your face.

August Favorites

Hey Guys,

I can't believe that the summer is coming to an end. The temperature is starting to get a little cooler and before we know it, Fall will be in full swing. Though I am really sad to see another summer end, I am SUPER excited for Gen Beauty NY at the end of of September. I feel like this is going to be the highlight of 2017 for me. I've never traveled alone so I feel a little sense of independence but more importantly, I get to meet a bunch of wonderful beauty influencers that support me (and vice versa) on a daily basis in our engagement pods. I also extremely excited about the whole Gen Beauty experience itself and the potential to network with brands. I don't want my expectations to be too high as there will be thousands of people there. At the very minimum, I will get to hang out out with a bunch of amazing women and get some free beauty products. I am going to do my very best to try to talk to as many brands as I can but I do understand that there are going to be hundreds of people trying to do the same thing. That being said, lets get into my favorites for this month. As you may have noticed, I have been trying out a ton of Essence Makeup products that they so generously sent to me. Essence Makeup Lip Favorites*

For those of you that follow me on Instagram and Snapchat you might have seen that Essence Makeup sent me a ton of products to try out. I've been testing them out for about a month and wanted to share my favorite products from the bunch. Since I have a lot that I feel are worth sharing, I decided to break them up in categories. This post will discuss my favorite lip products that I have been testing out. Keep reading to hear about the products and see swatches!

In this post I will be talking about three different types of Essence lipsticks. Their new Matt Matt Matt Lipsticks, Long Lasting Lipsticks, and Nude Long Lasting Lipsticks. I don't have the full line but have a few from each collection. 

Although a low priced line, their little details such as their stamped logo on their lipsticks make them feel luxurious.

June Favorites + Flops

Hey Guys,
I'm a little late on sharing my favorites for June but I still wanted to get the video up! I've been really trying to enjoy the summer by going to the beach and hanging out on the weekends. It feels good to be able to just lay there, listen to music, and do absolutely nothing. Between working full time, exercising, blogging/YouTube, and having a social life you really forget what it feels like to totally disconnect and relax. It feels REALLY good doing this even once a week. Speaking of relaxing, I will be going on vacation to Mexico July 26-August 1st. I am going to try my best to have 1 or 2 posts scheduled for that week but I'm not promising anything! If I can find the time this week to get it done, great! If not, I'm not going to stress about it. I will definitely have a post on the 2nd or 3rd once I get back. I may be able to catch up on social media and reading others blogs in my down time in Mexico since they have wi-fi in the rooms but all I am going to bring is my kindle. Now lets get to the reason for this post. June Favorites. I have been trying out a TON of new stuff the past two months. I had a bunch more things I have been loving but I tried to narrow it down to around 5-8.

Review: Essence Makeup Fall/Winter 2017 Collection Favorites*

I'm back to share my favorites from the Essence Makeup Fall/Winter 2017 Collection. For those of you that missed my original post listing all their new products launching, you can check it out HERE. I've been testing out all of the products over the past few weeks. Keep reading to see which products were my favorite from the bunch!

Metal Shock Lipsticks $4.99

"This creamy lipstick sets to a brilliant metallic finish without drying lips. Available in 8 shades from rose gold to emerald green." Launches in August.

I thought that these were really cool and fun. I think the metallic lip trend is going to be big this fall. These lipsticks are creamy and have nice pigmentation that is buildable. These are an affordable option if you're not sure if you like this trend and want to try it out. Also, if you already know you love the trend and want to try out all the different colors and not break the bank.

I love trying new products especially ones that are more obtainable to most people. I have found many hidden gems in drugstore products and actually wear more drugstore/affordable brands than high end.
