Hey Guys,
Today I'm going to share my thoughts on the new Urban Decay Naked Honey palette! They sent me the new palette a couple of weeks ago which I am very grateful for. When I first say this palette I knew I was going to love it. All of the warm brown and gold tones are definitely what I tend to gravitate towards. Keep reading to hear about this palette!
Review: Urban Decay Naked Honey Palette

Here is what is said about this palette on the Urban Decay website:
"Meet the Naked Honey Eyeshadow Palette, our newest addition to the Naked family—raw and sticky sweet, just the way nature intended. The irresistible combo of retro glam and golden glow makes this the one palette you'll be craving all year. Get hooked on this buzzed-about palette and its 12 exclusive shades; they’re perfect for creating a swarm of looks, from bright and sunny to dangerously seductive after dark. Reach for our go-to shade Amber (it practically glows), create the perfect hazy, smoked-out eye with Sting (warm brown matte), or get hooked on Honey (intense gold metallic) for the ultimate ’70s statement eye. From daytime matte to sultry metallic looks, blending your best look is easy, since the Naked Honey Eyeshadow Palette comes with a vegan and cruelty-free double-ended brush. One end is a smudger brush, which is short and densely packed to apply shadow along the lower lash line or smudge and blend. The other end is a tapered crease brush, perfect for defining the crease and blending shades. You won’t find another palette that’s this sweet."

Essence Makeup Fall/Winter 2017 Collection Favorites
I thought that these were really cool and fun. I think the metallic lip trend is going to be big this fall. These lipsticks are creamy and have nice pigmentation that is buildable. These are an affordable option if you're not sure if you like this trend and want to try it out. Also, if you already know you love the trend and want to try out all the different colors and not break the bank.

Review: Tarte Don't Quit Your Day Dream Palette

Hey Guys,
A few months ago I purchased the Tarte Maneater palette which I reviewed HERE. I mentioned that when I was in the store, I also swatched the Tarte Don't Quit Your Day Dream Palette. I had a hard time making a decision but chose to get the Maneater palette. Even though I love that palette, I kept thinking about the other palette. My birthday was in May and I knew I was going to get a $10.00 coupon. Once I got it, I decided to buy the other palette as well. I have been using this palette for about a month now. Keep reading to hear my thoughts!

Tarte Don't Quit Your Day Dream Palette
This is an Ulta exclusive palette that comes with 5 microshimmers, 2 mattes, and a eye/cheek highlighter.

Review: Tarte Maneater Palette

Hey Guys,
Today I am going to share my thoughts on the Tarte Maneater palette! I don't own many Tarte palettes. The only ones that I have ever had were the limited edition Holiday palettes. While they were pretty, they just seemed underwhelming to me. I never really reached for them over my other palettes. A couple months ago the Tarte Maneater palette was released. For whatever reason, this palette really interested me. All of the colors looked like ones that I would use. I decided to go to Ulta and swatch the palette in person. I was on the fence between this palette and the Tarte Double Duty Don't Quit Your Day Dream eyeshadow palette. They were both the same price and swatched beautifully. I decided on the Maneater Palette because I thought it was a little bit more versatile.  Keep reading to hear my thoughts on this palette!

Tarte Maneater Palette
It looks like this is a limited edition palette. It is no longer on the Ulta site. I'm not sure if it's out of stock or gone. I did find it on the Tarte site which I linked above.

Review: Ulta Best of Becca Kit

Hey Guys,
Today I wanted to share my thoughts on the Best of Becca set from Ulta! It was $34.50 and such a great value. I have wanted to try Becca products for quite a while so I was so excited to see this set! Becca products are pretty expensive so it was awesome to be able to try a bunch of deluxe samples of them.
Best of Becca Kit
This set was $34.50 but I haven't seen it online or in stores anymore. Ulta just released a similar Becca set which you can check out HERE.

Here is what came in the kit:
Best of Becca Kit

Best of Becca Kit
soft gold infused w/ rose tones
Best of Becca Kit
Here is what is said about this product on the Ulta site:
"Find refined luminosity in any light - this formula features ultra-fine luminescent pearls that absorb, reflect, and refract light so your natural radiance is never lost. Unlike the traditional pressed powder method which simply mixes and compresses dry ingredients, this unique process blends pigments with proprietary liquid binders, resulting in unparalleled, creamy application with balanced color dispersion. Like a compact full of crushed gemstones, the multi-toned, ultra-fine pigment pearls adjust to skin's natural undertones for a truly unique glow."

I really love this highlighter. Its such a pretty unique color and gives just enough highlight without being too much. I was so upset when this broke! The whole entire highlighter came out of the pan and crumbled. I didn't even drop it or anything. I'm going to try to fix it. Hopefully it works.

Becca Beach Tint Shimmer Souffle in Watermelon/Moonstone

Best of Becca Kit
coral red infused with pale gold
Here is what is said about this product on the Ulta site:
"Water-resistant and oil-free, each pot combines BECCA's top-selling Beach Tint with a Shimmering Skin Perfector for effortlessly buildable colour with a splash of radiance.

An innovative air-whipped gel-to-powder that provides a wash of luminescent colour for the cheeks. Infused with skin-soothing, redness-reducing brown algae, this formula hydrates and revives dull skin for a youthful glow. Water-resistant and oil, paraben and talc-free.

Whipped to perfection: Each soufflé begins by pulverizing Beach Tint and Shimmering Skin Perfector pigments and pearls into an ultra-fine powder. The powder is then combined with a proprietary blend of liquids and whipped into a perfectly delicate soufflé." http://www.ulta.com/ulta/browse/productDetail.jsp?productId=xlsImpprod10921044#

Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector in Opal
Best of Becca Kit
golden opal pearl
Here is what is said about this product on the Ulta site:
"Achieve a subtle luminosity. This formula features ultrafine light-reflecting pearls that melt into your skin for polished, natural-looking radiance. Water-light and sheer, it has a prismatic effect that allows it to adjust in any light, so your refined glow is never lost."

This is a pretty highlight and I love the opal color but I prefer the pressed highlighter over the cream one. I feel like the powder is easier to apply.

Becca Beach Tint in Guava
Best of Becca Kit
bright coral pink

Here is what is said about this product on the Ulta Site:
"Apply a beautiful flush and a pretty pout with this blendable two-in-one formula for lips and cheeks. The oil-free, streak-free stain is enriched with antioxidant vitamin E to repair and soothe skin and the water-resistant formula stays put with a subtle, fruity scent."
http://www.ulta.com/ulta/browse/productDetail.jsp?productId=xlsImpprod10921046

Here are swatches of each product:
Ulta Best of Becca Kit

L-R: Opal, Guava, Watermelon/Moonstone, Rose Gold

Overall, this was a great kit to try out a bunch of Becca products. I wish that they had more kits like this from all the different beauty brands. If I can't fix the Rose Gold pressed highlighter I will probably buy the full sized product. I recently picked up the Opal pressed highlighter and like it but I prefer the Rose Gold one!

Have you tried any of these Becca products? Which are your favorites? Post your comments below!

Review: Laura Geller Beauty Sugar Rush Kit

Hi Ladies,
Today I am going to review my very first Laura Geller Beauty products. I have read many great reviews of Laura Geller products and was really excited to try them. What I love about Laura Geller is that they always have awesome kits that come with a handful of different products. I am a SUCKER for makeup kits. After looking over the offerings at Ulta, I chose the Sugar Rush Kit.
The kit included 6 different products for $39.00 which was an awesome deal. The packaging was super cute and I have heard awesome things about the Balance n Brighten Baked Color Correcting Foundation.
