Hey Guys,
Today I'm going to share my thoughts on two more Charlotte Tilbury products; the Hollywood Flawless Filter and the Cheek to Chic Blush in Climax. I have wanted to try the Hollywood Flawless Filter for so long because so many people rave about it. I really like the two Cheek to Chic Blushes that I own so I decided to pick up another one. I wanted to make sure that was a way different color than the shades that I already own. I picked these up during the Black Friday sale and they came together in a kit. Hey Guys,
Today I'm going to share my favorite blushes. I usually switch up my blushes each season depending on my skin tone at that time. I also pick blushes based off of the color scheme of the rest of my makeup for that day. Even though I switch them up, I always have favorites that I reach for the most. Below are the blushes that I have been reaching for the most lately. I will link all of the blushes on their names as well as at the bottom of the post. Keep reading to hear more about them and to see swatches of each!

Review: Jaclyn Cosmetics Bronze & Blushing Duo

*This post contains affiliate links. That means if you click on my link and buy something, I will earn a small commission from the advertiser at no additional cost to you. Thank you for supporting Leopard Lace and Cheesecake!

Hey Guys,

Today I'm going to share my thoughts on the Jaclyn Cosmetics Bronze & Blushing Duo that I picked up when it launched at Ulta. I planned to grab two duos but the other one that I wanted sold out instantly. If you are unfamiliar with Jaclyn Cosmetics, its is a brand owned and run by beauty YouTuber Jaclyn Hill. She has had three different product launches over the past few years. The first of lipsticks was a complete disaster and she faced alot of back lash because of it. (I personally really liked her lipsticks). Her second launch was different forms of highlighters. These were well received and customers begged for her to make these limited edition products permanents. You can check out my review of the Flash Palette HERE. She recently launched a quick Valentine's Day collection and then announced these duos. Her new collection consists of 7 blush and bronzer duos. She also launched single highlighters the most popular shades in limited edition highlighter collection. Keep reading to hear more about the bronze and blushing duos and what I thought of the shade that I picked up!

Hey Guys,
Today I'm going to share my thoughts on the Ofra Cosmetics x Samantha March Collection! For those of you unfamiliar with Ofra Cosmetics, they are a cruelty free beauty brand out of Florida that is most known for their highlighters and liquid lipsticks. Ofra Cosmetics was created by Ofra Gaito and is a family owed/run business. Samantha March is an author (Amazon page here) and beauty influencer/YouTuber. I don't know Samantha on a personal level but we have crossed paths in the beauty community through influencer groups and events. Samantha is such a sweet, humble, and genuine person. I decided to pick up the whole PR Collection Box when it first launched last month to support her. Keep reading to hear more about the collection, to see swatches, and to hear my thoughts on each product!

Hey Guys,
Last week I discussed Morphe's 8W Warm Master Palette that you can check out HERE. This week I am back to review two of the Morphe Blushing Babes Trios. Keep reading to learn more about these trios, see swatches, and to hear my thoughts on them!
Review: Morphe Blushing Babes Trios
Here is what is said on the Ulta site about this product:
"Show your true colors with this collection of Morphe Blushing Babes Blush Trio's for your most flattering flush. Give your cheeks a little pink-me-up with creamy mattes and silky, shimmery satins. This collection of sassy blush trios in sweet shades slays every look with a blendable formula and wearable, oh-so-you shades"

Morphe Babes Blushing Babes Trios in Pop of Coral $12.00
Review: Morphe Blushing Babes Trios
Pop of Coral:
  • Boss (matte melon)
  • Fierce (glimmering vibrant coral)
  • Unapologetic (matte burnt ginger)
Review: Morphe Blushing Babes Trios
These colors are super pretty! I have been using this palette more than the Pop of Rose. Boss has been a little light for me as I have been pretty tan. However, as my tan fades it will show up better on my skin. Unapologetic is my favorite color from this duo. Its such a pretty neutral shade and I love matte blushes. Fierce gives a pretty glow but its not as pigmented or soft as the shimmer blushes in the 8W palette.

Hey Guys,

Today I'm going to share my thoughts on a mini Benefit blush and bronzer set that I picked up at Ulta not too long ago. I've wanted to try Benefit Blushes for quite a while. Dallas being the #1 blush that I wanted to try. The full size of Dallas was sold out and they didn't have any minis of it. I came across a few different blush sets. One of which had a few of their full sized blushes and a second had a bunch of mini deluxe sample sizes. I ended up going with the deluxe sample set because I was able to try out more of their blushes. Keep reading to hear about this blush set and how I liked it!

Review: Too Faced Bronzer in Sweet Tea and Blush in Peach Bellini*

Hey Guys,
Today I am going to share my thoughts on two Too Faced products; the Sweethearts Bronzer in Sweet Tea and the Sweetheart Perfect Flush Blush in Sparkling Bellini. I have wanted to try the Sweetheart blushes for a while and this new peach shade caught my eye. I also watched a video where Kathleen Lights talked about the Sweet Tea bronzer and used it in a tutorial. I fell in love and had to get it. I got both of these products on the Ulta Beauty site. I'm not sure if they are exclusive to Ulta or sold in other stores as well.
Too Faced Bronzer in Sweet Tea and Blush in Peach Bellini*
First off, how cute is the packaging of these products? Super cute! I love the heart shapes, the colors, and the pretty designs. The definitely feel high end even with cardboard type packaging.

Review: City Color Cosmetics Be Matte Blush in Papaya*

Hi Guys,
Today I'm going to share my thoughts on the City Color Be Matte Blush in Papaya. I first tried these blushes in my Ipsy Glam Bag. The color that I tried was Melon. I was so impressed with the pigmentation and price of these blushes. I knew that I had to try more!

City Color Be Matte Blush in Papaya
City Color Be Matte Blush in Papaya

Here is a swatch of Papaya:
Papaya is a dusty rose color. It is super pigmented and creamy. I absolutely love this blush for an everyday cheek color. It blends so nicely and stays put all day! The size of this blush is crazy. For just under $5.00, you definitely get your money's worth. I definitely recommend this blush and can't wait to try more shades. City Color Cosmetics is such an awesome and affordable brand. Did I mention that they are cruelty free?! Stay tuned for some more reviews of their products.

Have you tried any City Color Be Matte Blushes? If so, what shades? Post your comments below!

Review: Too Faced Everything Nice Holiday Set

Hey Guys,
Now that I'm out of Christmas mode I'm going to have a ton of reviews for you on all the items that I recieved! The first of them being the Too Faced Everything Nice holiday kit. I wanted this kit so bad and when I saw that it was out of stock online a couple weeks before Christmas I was so bummed. Luckily, my good friend El (The Beauty Isle) knew how much I was drooling over this palette and got it for me for Christmas!  I know you all have seen tons of reviews on this so I'm just going to do a short review with some swatches then show you some looks that I have been creating with it.
Too Faced Everything Nice Palette

I love the glitz and glam of this palette and bag. I'm not a fan of the mascara and the sample was super dry but it was just a freebie with the kit. The palette is the focus here.
Too Faced Everything Nice Palette
The bag is a great size for storing brushes, lippies, even palettes. I have read that the glitter does tend to fall off. I have noticed any major mess with the glitter yet.

Swatches left to right:
Turtle Dove, Dream On, After Hours, Fawned of You, Knockout
Paper Roses, Kindness is Free, Mauvelous, Be You, Secret Lovers
Heaven, Shiny Happy, Honey Pot, Don't Settle, Girly
Totally Fetch, Live it Up, Too Glam, Head Over Heels, Chocolate Moon
Sweet Pink, Papa Don't Preach, Chocolate Soleil, Inner Light

The shadows are really good. Some are definitely better than others. The brow highlight shades are all very similar in color. I can barley see them but they may show up more on someone that has a darker skin tone than me. Some of the super glittery shades are as pigmented as I hope but I have used them on the lower lash line and they look great. My favorite shades in the bunch are After Hours, Fawned of You, Shiny Happy, Knockout, and Girly. Girly is very similar to MAC's Blue Brown in that it is super metallic and appears to look reddish brown in some lighting. Too Glam is a pretty peacock/teal green color. This is a great pop of color to add to your lower lash line. Secret Lovers is a good shade to use on your lid when creating a smokey eye. The blushes, bronzer, and highlighter don't disappoint either. They are all up to par with past holiday kits. Inner Light is a really pretty highlight shade. The brushes are a cute touch to this year's kit. The shadow brush works pretty well. I am not great at contouring but the contour brush is soft and does seem to work well (I just suck at blending). I haven't used the liner brush yet.

Here are some looks that I have created over the past month:
Too Faced Everything Nice Makeup Look 1
Too Faced Everything Nice Makeup Look 1
Too Faced Everything Nice Makeup Look 1
Too Faced Everything Nice Makeup Look 1
Brow: Heaven
Lid: Shiny Happy
Transition: Fawned of You
Crease: Knockout and After Hours
Lower Lash Line: Knockout and After Hours

Too Faced Everything Nice Makeup Look 2
Too Faced Everything Nice Makeup Look 2
Too Faced Everything Nice Makeup Look 2
Brow: Turtle Dove
Lid: Mauvelous
Crease: Be You
Outer V: Live It Up
Lower Lash Line: Live It Up and Be You
Inner Corners: Paper Roses

Brow: Dream on and Heaven
Transition: Fawned of You
Lid: After Hours and Shiny Happy
Inner Corners: Shiny Happy
Crease: Don't Settle
Lower Lash Line: Knockout

Overall, I love this palette. Even though there are a few misses in the kit, the majority of the shadows are great. I think Too Faced makes the best holiday kits hands down. Their packaging is always adorable, their shadows are great, and I love that they make sure to add face products in the kit as well.  Everything Nice is no longer available but was $56.00 which was a great price for what you get. I can't wait to see what they come up with for next year! Thanks to El for spoiling me with this awesome gift!

What are your favorite colors from above? Post your comments below!

Dermstore Haul: Too Faced, Tarte, and FarmHouse Fresh*

Hi Ladies!
Today I am going to share with you my Dermstore haul! For those of you unfamiliar with Dermstore, it is a online beauty store that carries a bunch of well known beauty brands such as Lorac, Too Faced, Tarte, and Laura Geller, They also carry smaller harder to find brands such as Eddie Funkhouser, Rouge Bunny Rouge, and Pacifica. They actually have 3 sites; Dermstore.com, Blush.com, and Hairenvy.com. Dermstore is their main site which carries all of their products (skincare, cosmetics, hair care). Blush.com focuses on cosmetics/beauty and Hairenvy focuses on hair tools and products. When in doubt, Dermstore will carry all the items. It is very easy to navigate between the three sites as they are all linked at the top of the website.

Here are the items that I purchased from Dermstore:

I have never heard of FarmHouse Fresh before but I love facial masks! The ingredients such as pumpkin interested me and the fact that it got good reviews was also a reason that I chose to get it. My favorite makeup brand! Ok, I know I am REALLY late to jump of the Chocolate Bar bandwagon but... I finally decided to pick it up! I'm not sure if its even worth doing a review on since everyone has already seen this all over the bloggosphere and Too Faced has already come out with the Semi Sweet Chocolate Bar. I may do a post on looks that I create with this palette. Is anyone interested in seeing that?

Tarte Amazonian Clay 12 Hour Blush in Exposed $26.00
