Review: Physicians Formula Butter Blushes

Hey Guys,
Today I'm going to share my thoughts on the new Physicians Formula Butter Blushes. I picked up both colors that were released. Since then a couple other colors have been posted on the Physicians Formula IG but I have not seen them in stores. Keep reading to hear my thoughts!

Physicians Formula Butter Blush in Natural Glow $12.99

Natural Glow is a very light shimmery champagne/peach shade. I would not consider this a blush and more of a blush topper or highlight. It may show up best on very fair skin. I ended up returning it because I could barley see any color on my skin and more of just a shimmer.

Physicians Formula Butter Blush in Plum Rose $12.99

Plum Rose is a light mauve in a more satin finish. I also had a hard time getting this color to show up on my skin. I had to layer it several times for it to show up. I wish I kept my receipt because I would have returned this one as well.

On to my thoughts:
While both of these blushes are the same silky feel and amazing scent as the Butter Bronzer, neither of them had enough color pay off for me to want to reach for them. I don't recommend these if you want a pigmented blush. However, if you have very fair skin or just like a light wash of color on your cheeks, then you may like them. The two new colors that were released (Rosy Pink and Vintage Rouge) look like they are a lot more pigmented. I would definitely have to see reviews of those before I decide if they are something that I want to pick up.
