Review: Laura Geller Beauty Sugar Rush Kit

Hi Ladies,
Today I am going to review my very first Laura Geller Beauty products. I have read many great reviews of Laura Geller products and was really excited to try them. What I love about Laura Geller is that they always have awesome kits that come with a handful of different products. I am a SUCKER for makeup kits. After looking over the offerings at Ulta, I chose the Sugar Rush Kit.
The kit included 6 different products for $39.00 which was an awesome deal. The packaging was super cute and I have heard awesome things about the Balance n Brighten Baked Color Correcting Foundation.
Here are the products that came in this kit:

Double Ended Face and Highlighter Brush
I haven't used this brush yet but I would probably use this for the highlighter. I would use the brush side for the tops of my cheekbones and the sponge tip to highlight the bridge of my nose. I feel like this was an extra bonus with this kit.

Balance-n-Brighten Baked Color Correcting Foundation in Medium
I heard awesome things about this correcting powder. When I first started apply this, I wasn't really impressed. However, I was comparing it to my bareMinerals loose powder foundation which is a heavier coverage. I would consider this a light coverage. After seeing pictures and the finished product, I really did think my skin looked more even and almost had a glow to it. Not shimmery or anything just a healthy glow. To add a bit more coverage, I pair this with my Rimmel BB Cream. I am really enjoying this powder foundation.

Baked Blush in Bali
This is a really pretty matte pink blush. It has great pigmentation and is very creamy. You only need very little product.

Baked Highlighter in French Vanilla
I really love this highlighter. It is creamy and gives you a healthy glow. Its not shimmery which I really liked

Baked Marble Eyeshadow Duo in Amethyst/Unearthed
This duo has a lavender shade and a bronze shade. You can mix them together and create a taupe shade. These eyeshadows aren't as pigmented as I am used to but they are still very pretty. I had to layer the purple several times to build up the color. The color seemed to last all day which was great. They do have a good amount of shimmer in them like most baked shadows.

Color Drenched Lip Gloss in French Press Rose
This lip gloss is super creamy, pigmented, and moisturizing. I was really impressed by it. The wear time isn't that long if you are drinking or eating. As with most glosses, it comes off a lot easier than lipstick. The lip gloss doesn't leave any type of stain on the lips.

Here are swatches of each:

Here is a picture of me wearing all of the products in this kit:

Overall, I think this is a fantastic kit. I really enjoyed every product in this kit and think it is a great value. I would recommend this to anyone looking to try out Laura Geller products or just someone looking for a new makeup kit to try out.

Have you tried this kit or any Laura Geller products? Post your comments below!
