Hey Guys,
Today I'm going to share my thoughts on the Tartelette Juicy Palette. Its been quite a while since I purchased a palette or a bunch of makeup in general. I have always been a fan of Tarte shadows and their Tartelette palettes especially. I have owned all of them at one point or another. This palette isn't brand new but it is their newest one that they have launched. I decided to pick it up because the colors seem like a good range of neutrals that you could use on a daily basis. Keep reading to hear more about this palette, my thoughts on it, and swatches.

Hey Guys,
I am sooo behind on my subscription box reviews. I have had a lot of other content that I've wanted to post so I haven't gotten around to posting them. That being said, I am going to try my best to get two posts up a week so that I can catch up but I'm not making any promises. Today I'm going to share my thoughts on my BoxyLuxe for September! For those of you unfamiliar with BoxyCharm, it is a monthly beauty subscription box. You receive 4-5 FULL SIZED products each month. The subscription is $21.00 a month and usually has a theme. Hey Guys,
I've decided to add a new addition to my blog when it comes to beauty reviews. Today will be my first Beauty Box Throw Down. As many of you know, I have been subscribed to BoxyCharm for a few years now and do monthly box reviews. I recently signed up for Ipsy's Glam Bag Plus and this will be my second month getting that box. Since I am signed up for BoxyLuxe I will only be doing this when I get both boxes that are comparable in price. Beauty Box Throw Down will be very similar to the regular reviews that I do where I show the products, link the products, share my thoughts, and the box total value. However, the difference with this is that I will also let you guys know which box that I think is a better value. So lets jump right in!
First I'm going to share my thoughts on my BoxyCharm for August! For those of you unfamiliar with BoxyCharm, it is a monthly beauty subscription box. You receive 4-5 FULL SIZED products each month. The subscription is $21.00 a month and usually has a theme. They also offer an upgraded box every quarter called BoxyLuxe. This is an additional $28.99 a quarter. The theme for August is "Totally Boxy". I was pretty excited to see that a Becca Powder and Tarte Mascara was going to be featured in the box. Keep reading to see what I got and to hear my thoughts. Also, make sure to check out the discount codes below for the month!

Review: Tarte Shape Your Money Maker Palette*
Hey Guys,
Today I'm going to share my thoughts on another Tarte palette. This time around its the Tarte Shape Your Money Maker palette. If you haven't noticed... I LOVE palettes. I really enjoy trying out different ones and they are probably the most reviewed makeup product on my blog. It seems like many other people love palettes as well. However, I want to know what YOU would like to see on my blog. Whether it be more makeup reviews, fashion posts, or tutorials; just let me know in the comments below. In the meantime, check out my thoughts on this palette!
"An 8-shade eye & cheek palette with
removable magnetic pans & the same shaping abilities as your favorite shape
tape complexion formulas. Instantly
shapes & defines your face with longwearing Amazonian clay-enriched
formulas specifically chosen to create a more lifted, youthful look. Three
silky matte eyeshadows sculpt tired, hooded eyes while three shimmery
eyeshadows help you look more awake. A universal contouring bronzer & a
pearly face highlighter play with light & shadow to chisel, illuminate
& rejuvenate your features."

March Favorites & Flops
Hey Guys,
Now that we are already into April I'm going to share the products that I was loving in March. I don't know how it is everywhere else in the country but its been super cold for this time of year. We are supposed to see at least 60s by April and 30-40s seem to be the average lately. I really hope that I see no more snow until the winter (but nothing will surprise me). While the heat does get to me every now and then, I would take super hot weather over cold weather any day. I am longing for the warm weather and eventually beach days. New England weather totally makes me want to move down south! I have been trying alot of new products the past few months and have been reviewing a ton of products. Check out my video below to see my favorite products for March! I also linked my reviews below for the products that I've previously reviewed!

Review: Tarte Rainforest of the Sea Foil Finger Paints Palette*
Hey Guys,
Today I'm going to share my thoughts on one of the prettiest palettes that I own. It's the Tarte Rainforest of the Sea Foil Finger Paints Palette. The packaging is absolutely breathtaking and I couldn't wait to try out the shadows and see if they were just as beautiful! Keep reading to hear my thoughts!
Tarte Rainforest of the Sea Foil Finger Paints Shadow Palette $39.00
Here is what is said about this product on the tarte site:
"An eyeshadow palette with new, textured foil formulas that are so plush & pigmented, you can paint them on with your fingers. 3 warm-toned foil eyeshadows with a crushed velvet texture melt onto lids, while the split-pan iridescent & silver sheer sparkling shades can be worn alone or layered on other hues as transforming topcoats. Makes eyelids look smoother with good-for-you antioxidants from our Rainforest of the Sea™ complex while the turquoise compact adds aquatic awesomeness to your makeup bag."

February Favorites & Flops
Hey Guys,
Today I'm going to share my favorite products for February. I have been trying ALOT of new products. It's hard to narrow down just a few so I have a few more than normal this month. I am trying my best to get reviews banged out so you will see a lot in the coming weeks. I am super excited that spring is almost here. The warm weather and longer days just put me in a better mood. I don't really have any big plans for the spring or summer but I am hoping to plan something fun at some point! Check out my video below to see the products that I was loving this month!

Review: New Tarte Products*
Hey Guys,
I wanted to share some fairly new products from Tarte. They have come out in the past few months and I am ready to share my thoughts with you. One will definitely be a game changer for some people! Keep reading to hear about these products!
Tarte Limited Edition Tarteist Quick Dry Matte Lip Paint in Park Ave Princess $20.00
Here is what is said about this product on the Tarte site:
"A quick dry, full coverage, transfer-proof matte liquid lipstick in the iconic park ave princess™ shade for a radiant, warm nude lip look, dressed up in limited-edition rose gold packaging. Smudgeproof, longwearing liquid lip paint glides on evenly & dries in seconds to an ultra-opaque, wearable matte finish that doesn’t dry out lips. The comfortflex formula means it moves with your lips, so no cracking or feathering."
On to my thoughts:I already really love the Tarteist Quick Dry Matte Lip Paints in general. However, when I saw that they came out with this Park Ave Princess shade I knew I had to have it. Most "nudes" look like concealer on my lips. This shade is a warm nude that is more light brown than tan. Those are the nude shades I prefer and the ones that look best on my lips. The formula is pretty consistent with all the other shades I own. My two tips are to make sure your lips are hydrated and instead of layering, wipe it off and reapply after eating. The lip swatch is more true to color when it comes to how it looks on the lips. However, I wanted to show you an arm swatch as well.

Review: Tarte Shape Tape Matte Foundation vs Hydrating Foundation*
Hey Guys,
Today I'm going to share my thoughts on the new Tarte Shape Tape Foundation. As many of you know, the Tarte Shape Tape Concealer is my holy grail concealer. It covers my dark cirlcles unlike anything else and doesn't look or feel cakey and thick on my skin. When I heard that they were coming out with foundation I was so excited! I was able to get PR samples of both formulas and wanted to share my honest thoughts about each. Keep reading to hear how each foundation worked for me!

Review: Tarte Tartelette Toasted Palette
Hey guys,
Today I'm going to share my thoughts and some looks that I created using the Tarte Tartelette Toasted palette. For those of you unfamiliar with this product, it's Tarte's 3rd palette in the Tartelette collection. The first palette is all matte shadows. The second is a mixture of matte and shimmers with a more cool toned theme. (You can read my review of the original Tartelette palette HERE) My friend El got me the Tartelette Toasted palette for Christmas and I have had quite a while to experiment and gather my opinion of the product. I've also created a tutorial using this palette along with some other Tarte products. Stay tuned for that. Until then, keep reading to hear my thoughts on this palette!
"A party-in-a-palette (we’re talking 12, all-new warm & cozy shades) to celebrate our tartelettes & the wearable shades they asked for. Lets you mix & match 12 warm, rich eyeshadows (7 wearable mattes & 5 lustrous shimmers), arranged in separate rows to make 3 easy-to-DIY looks. The superblendable Amazonian clay-infused powder formula glides on like a cream, providing longwearing, intense payoff that’s never chalky or patchy."

January Favorites
Hey Guys,
I know we are almost half way though February but I felt the need to share my January Favorites. I already took the time to film the video so I figured I would still put it up. Even though we haven't had a super cold or snowy winter, I am so excited that its almost the Spring. I can't wait for longer days and warmer weather. I didn't have anything too exciting happen in the past couple months. However, I have decided to redo my living room which has been pretty exciting. My house has literally looked the same since I first moved into it 5 years ago. I have wanted to change things for quite a while since it's looked the same since when me and my ex first got married. I needed to get the old out and in with the new. My hesitation was that I knew it wasn't going to be cheap. If I could redecorate my whole entire house all at once I definitely would. However, money wise, that's just not that realistic for me. I've decided to do one room at a time and started with my living room. I will do my kitchen and bathrooms this summer. My bedroom decor has changed a little bit over the years but unfortunately all the furniture will stay as is until I move out of this house. As I'm typing this post from my living room couch I look around and it just feels better. It feels like my own now. Not mine and my ex's stuff. Anyways, I know my blog is mainly beauty and fashion but if you guys wanted to see my living room fully redecorated I could post some pics and let you know where I got each of the items. It's still a work in progress but I think I will have most of the decorating finished in the coming weeks. Back to what this post is about, my January Favorites. Check out my video below to see what I was loving last month!

Review: Tarte Face Products*
Hey Guys,
Today I'm going to be sharing my thoughts on some Tarte face products. You can see my previous reviews of lip products HERE and the Tartelette palette HERE. Keep reading to hear my thoughts on each of the products below!
Tarte Amazonian Clay Waterproof Bronzer in Park Ave Princess $30.00
Here is what is said about this product on the Tarte site:
"Tarte's best-selling bronzing powder in the iconic park ave princess shade.Want to create that perfect seamless, sunkissed radiance? It’s now easier than ever to bronze & glow with Tarte’s best-selling, multi-tasking bronzer formulated to blend and build your perfect level of uniform bronze. Available in Tarte’s signature park ave princess radiant bronze shade, the waterproof formula adds instant warmth and dimension across a variety of skin tones as Amazonian clay helps improve overall skin clarity, texture and tone for an overall lit from within complexion."
On to my thoughts:
I have always wanted to try this bronzer. While it does have some shimmer in the pan, I don't notice any on my face. I would consider this a medium toned bronzer. It's darker than most of the bronzers I use during the winter however, it really doesn't look too dark on me. I think I will be able to use this all year round which is great. This is pigmented but is more buildable which makes it easy to wear when I am at my lightest (like right now). I definitely agree that this gives dimension and flow to your face. I am really loving this bronzer and have been reaching for it often.

Review: Tarte Tartelette Palette*
Hey Guys,
Today I am going to share my thoughts on the OG Tartelette Palette. I received this from Tarte before the holidays and while this is not brand new, I still wanted to share my thoughts on it. I already owned the Tartelette in Bloom and I just got the Tartelette Toasted for Christmas. I am excited to own the whole collection and think that they each have their own qualities that set them apart from one another. Do you NEED to own all 3? No, especially if you are looking for specific things in a palette. But if you are a makeup lover like me, I think that owning all 3 is perfectly fine. Keep reading to hear my thoughts on this palette and to see a look that I created!
"An everyday eyeshadow palette with 12 all matte shades that are anything but basic. Warm & cool matte eyeshadows ranging from light to deep are arranged in rows for 3 easy looks – customize your application to switch from natural to dramatic. The superblendable Amazonian clay-infused powder formula glides on like a cream, providing longwearing, intense payoff that’s never chalky or patchy."
Includes 12 eyeshadows:
- free spirit (cream)

- multi-tasker (chocolate)
- caregiver (pale pink)
- natural beauty (mauve)

Review: Tarte Lip Products*
Hey Guys,
Over the next month or so you will see a bunch of reviews of the Tarte products that were sent to me. I have been trying everything out over the past couple of months and wanted to share my overall thoughts on each. Today I will be sharing my thoughts on the lip products that I recieved. Keep reading to hear more!
Tarte Tarteist Quick Dry Matte Lip Paint in OG $20.00
Here is what is said about this product on the Tarte site:
"A full coverage, transfer-proof liquid lipstick with a quick-dry matte finish. Offers vibrant, opaque color with concentrated mineral pigments in a liquid-to-matte lip paint that dries instantly with no transferring. The featherlight Comfortflex formula means it moves with your lips without drying out, cracking or bleeding. "
OG is considered a greige. It pulls a bit on the purple/mauve side on me. It looks lighter in my swatch above. It's darker in person. I really like this color and don't really have anything exactly like it. In terms of formula, I really love the quick dry matte lip paints. I like the Creamy matte lip paints a bit more as I feel they are a little more comfortable on the lips. However, there are many more shades in this formula. This color is super pigmented and is long wearing. It does need to be reapplied after eating and drinking. I do suggest applying lip balm before wearing as it will help moisturize your lips and prevent your lips from drying out.

December Favorites
Hey Guys,
I can't believe we are already half way through January! I have been pretty behind on blog posts and videos. The holiday break got me off track then I got sick. I haven't been super motivated to get all of these videos edited that I have filmed over the past month. It takes so much time and I have been enjoying laying on the couch watching movies instead of glued to my computer every night. I wish there were more hours in a day to do both but for me, it's not realistic. I get out of work at 5:30 p.m. and don't get home until almost 6:00 p.m. (which is way less of a commute than most people in MA). By the time I work out, cook dinner, and sit down its already 7:30-8:00 at night. The last couple of hours before bed I am making lunch, showering, laundry etc so it really doesn't leave much time for blogging/YouTube, looking for a new job, AND relaxing. That being said, I have a TON of reviews I need to get to writing. Many of them are Tarte but I have a handful of other brands as well. I have been trying so many new products lately that I had a hard time picking just a few items to discuss. Check out my video below to see what I was loving last month!
