Tutorial: Fall Inspired Makeup Look

Hey Guys,
This look was supposed to be featured in a Fall look book with some other bloggers but the plans fell through. I would normally do a makeup tutorial video but since I already created this look, took pics, and wrote out a tutorial, you are going to get an old fashioned step by step tutorial this time around!

I wanted to create a look that screams fall. I love warm tones and orange/reds remind me of the leaves changing color in the fall. I decided to use the  MorphexJaclyn Hill Palette because there are tons of colors in this palette that give me inspiration for this look. Another great palette that you could to create a similar look is the Morphe 35O Nature Glow Palette.

Tutorial: Tarte Maneater Palette

Hey Guys,
Today I am going to share my second ever makeup tutorial! I haven't attempted a tutorial since the first one that I created in 2015. It took so long between my camera battery dying, memory card getting full, and not really being able to tell what was actually in frame never mind editing. A couple weeks ago I had a Saturday where I didn't have plans until dinner so I decided to take the time to film another tutorial. I have a monitor that I have facing me as part my filming set up so that I can see when I am out of frame in my camera. This time around I made sure my memory card was empty and my battery fully charged.

I would say that filming was a lot easier with the monitor and things went more smoothly. However, I have been filming on auto focus for about a year or so. I switched because I film alot when I am by myself. Manual focus is pretty tough when you are alone because you have no one to sit in for you while you adjust your camera settings. So after filming was done everything looked fine. Once I uploaded my images and video onto my laptop I realized that alot of my pictures were blurry and so was the video at times. Come to find out, my camera kept focusing in on the flowers on my backdrop instead of my face. This is super frustrating because I worked so hard on this video. I decided it wasn't too blurry and it was only at certain times so I decided to go forward and publish this video.

I bought new fabric that is a plain dark gray. I am going to use this going forward but am also thinking about filming in manual again. I would love everyone's input in opinion/tips on this.

The palette that I used for this tutorial is the Tarte Maneater Palette. You can see my review HERE.

Check out my video below to see my tutorial!
