Hey Guys,

I am sooo behind on my subscription box reviews. I have had a lot of other content that I've wanted to post so I haven't gotten around to posting them. That being said, I am going to try my best to get two posts up a week so that I can catch up but I'm not making any promises. Today I'm going to share my thoughts on my BoxyLuxe for September! For those of you unfamiliar with BoxyCharm, it is a monthly beauty subscription box. You receive 4-5 FULL SIZED products each month. The subscription is $21.00 a month and usually has a theme. They also offer an upgraded box every quarter called BoxyLuxe. This is an additional $28.99 a quarter and you get 8-9 full sized products.  The theme for September was "All Access". I was pretty excited that we got to pick one of them items in this box and some of the products looked promising! Keep reading to see what I got and to hear my thoughts. Also, make sure to check out the discount codes below for the month!

Tarte Park Ave Princess Chisel Palette $45.00
Review:BoxyLuxe Sept 2019
I am a huge Tarte fan so anytime the brand is featured in BoxyCharm I am always super stoked about that. This palette got mixed reviews so I was a little weary but I've used the bronzers quite a bit and actually really like them. I haven't tried the highlight shades much but I will give them a try soon. I like to mix the bronzers and create my own custom shade. They are pretty pigmented and the whole palette smells like vanilla. I use the shades mainly for bronzing all over my face as I don't contour often. The packaging is awesome and so luxurious feeling. But overall I like this palette a lot and am glad that I received it.

Violet Voss Essentials Palette $29.00
Review:BoxyLuxe Sept 2019
I am still unsure how I feel about Violet Voss palettes. This is the 3rd palette that I have from them and I'm just not wowed by them. The shadows are on the harder side but do blend nice. You do have to build up the color. This palette is okay but I just know I won't reach for it alot. I will probably pass this on to a friend or sell it on Poshmark.

This liquid lipstick is a nude peach color. It's not my favorite color but the actual formula itself is the real disappointment. It's a really thick liquid lipstick, is drying, and comes off on the inner part of your lip so it looks really weird. I just didn't have luck with this formula.

Hank and Henry Blickity Black Liquid Liner $17.00
From what I have seen this Hank and Henry Liquid Liner is really good and people love it. I personally just don't wear eyeliner on my top lash line anymore so I didn't even open this. I will be saving it for a giveaway.

Glow Recipe Pineapple-C Brightening Serum $49.00
I have wanted to try Glow Recipe products for quite a while so I am really excited to try this serum out. I hear great things about this brand and already have a list of other items I want to try.

Dr. Brandt Hydro Biotic Recovery Sleeping Mask $52.00
I don't really use sleeping masks often because my face always feels so sticky but I will give this one a try at some point.

I was hoping to get this curling wand because it is larger than all of the other ones that I own. At first glance, this iron is cheaper than I would have imagined. The handle is a cheap feeling plastic and it doesn't even have an on/off indicator light which I found weird. That being said, the curling wand works very well on my hair and I love the waves that it creates! This was probably my favorite item in the box.

IGK Mistress Hydrating Hair Balm $29.00
I wasn't super excited about this product yet since I am not huge into hair products in general. I already have a few blow dry/balm products opened so I haven't tried this yet. Once I use them up I will give it a try and see how I like it. I may be pleasantly surprised.

Overall, this wasn't my favorite BoxyLuxe but there are definitely some amazing products in here. Like with most boxes, there are going to be some items that I don't like or don't work for me. Out of 8 products only 3 were a miss for me. I'm not mad at that. The value of the box far exceeds the cost that I paid for this box. That is why I love subscriptions so much. I do think BoxyCharm sent out some very confusing emails that made us think there were more choices/variations given to new subscribers than current subscribers but that wasn't the case. I do hope that we are able to have more color cutomization/choice in the future because I feel like that is so much more personal to each person. I will be reviewing the October box really soon so keep an eye out for that.
