Review: Stitch Fix Unboxing #17

Hey Guys,

I'm back with another Stitch Fix unboxing! For those of you unfamiliar with Stitch Fix, it is a personal styling subscription service. You can learn more about Stitch Fix and see my previous fixes on my Subscription Reviews page.  It's been quite a while so I decided to get another box. I am a Stitch Fix affiliate and they waived our styling fee for the holidays. That means I can try out boxes without having to pay the styling fee. They also waived the styling fee for you guys too! That means you get a complimentary box only for a limited time (fixes scheduled up till 12/25/17). You can try Stitch Fix for free!  I suggest you take advantage of this offer.  Normally, you have to pay a $20 styling fee. The fee gets applied as a credit towards any items you decide to purchase. However, if you don't purchase anything, the $20 fee stays as is. Check out my video below to see what I got in my box! Review: Stitch Fix-Fix # 16

Hey Guys,
I'm back with another Stitch Fix unboxing. I received an email saying that they would waive my styling fee if I signed up for a fix. I figured it was a good opportunity to try them out again. All I really asked for were items to transition me from the spring to summer. I also pinned a bunch of new clothing items to my fashion board on Pinterest and told them to check it out. For those of you unfamiliar with Stitch Fix, it is a personal styling subscription service. You can learn more about Stitch Fix and see my previous fixes on my Subscription Reviews page. Check out my video below to see the unboxing and me trying them on. Below are my thoughts on each piece!

I  really liked the lace detail on this tank top. It's really cute. This top is also long enough to wear with leggings which is a plus.

Review: Stitch Fix- Fix #15

Hey Guys,
Today I am going to share my  most recent fix from Stitch Fix! During the month of December, Stitch Fix was waiving the styling fee for all of their affiliates. I figured this would be a good opportunity to get another box. I saw some pieces that I liked and pinned them on my Pinterest. I made notes of this and also asked for the stylist to stay in my budget as well as other pieces I was looking for. I scheduled the fix right before Christmas Eve in the hopes of finding something cute to wear for Christmas. I just realized I forgot to take pictures of me wearing the items! Oops! At least you will see them in the video. For those of you unfamiliar with Stitch Fix, it is a personal styling subscription service. You can learn more about Stitch Fix and see my previous fixes on my Subscription Reviews page. Keep scrolling to watch  an unboxing, hear my thoughts, and see what I got!

Review: Stitch Fix Men Fix#1

Hey Guys,
Today I am going to share my thoughts (and my boyfriend's) on Stitch Fix Men! I recently did a post sharing the news that Stitch Fix has come out with a men's subscription. You can read that HERE. I decided to have my boyfriend Colin sign up so that I could check it out and see how it compares to the women's subscription. For those of you unfamiliar with Stitch Fix, it is a personal styling subscription service. You can learn more about Stitch Fix and see my previous fixes on my Subscription Reviews page. When Colin signed up he filled out a detailed style profile. He also made a note that he was looking for items for the fall and winter. Keep reading to see what he got!

Introducing Stitch Fix Men!

Hey Guys,
Today I am here to share some exciting news! Stitch Fix has launched Stitch Fix Men! It's the same great subscription service but now they cater to that special man in your life too! For those of you unfamiliar with Stitch Fix, it is a personal styling subscription service.
Introducing Stitch Fix Men!

So this is how it works: You sign up and fill out this very detailed fashion profile. Once you fill out the profile you can decide when you want to get your first fix. In the fix they will send you 5 items consisting of clothing items and/or accessories. You decide the types of items you want them to send you. Your are able to add special notes to your fix as well such as "please send me all shirts this month". You can schedule the fixes monthly, seasonally, or whenever you feel like it. You get to choose the date you want to receive your fix. If you decide to cancel the monthly fixes at any time you will not be charged.

Once you schedule your fix, they ship out your items on that date and you will be charged a $20.00 styling fee. If you don't keep the items you do still have to pay the $20.00 styling fee. However, if you keep even one item, the $20.00 fee gets subtracted from the cost of the item. If you decided to keep all 5 items, not only does the $20.00 get subtracted but you get 25% off your entire order! How cool is that?

Another cool thing about Stitch Fix is with each item they send, they also send a picture card that shows how to style items you already have with this specific item.

If you refer friends and they decide to try out Stitch Fix, you get a $25.00 credit once their first fix gets sent out. Who doesn't love free money?

Introducing Stitch Fix Men!

I think it is so great that they now offer this subscription for men. Some men hate to shop while others are just too busy to take the time to do so. It's a great gift idea and with the holidays right around the corner  and I think that you should all keep this in mind!

Review: Stitch Fix #13

Hey Guys,
Last month I wasn't thrilled with my fix. I decided to send all the pieces back. My stylist Jenni agreed to send me another fix with better pieces that I could transition into the fall with. For those of you unfamiliar with Stitch Fix, it is a personal styling subscription service. You can learn more about Stitch Fix and see my previous fixes on my Subscription Reviews page

Below is what I recieved in my 13th fix.
Stitch Fix #13
$48.00

When I first saw this shirt I wasn't crazy about it. Once I tried it on, I actually really liked it. I thoght the split in the back was really cool. The only problem was it was a little bit tight on me. For that reason, I decided to pass on it.

I liked the color of the shirt but I  didn't think it was worth the price. I liked the colors in the scarf but would wear this with a winter jacket, not as an accessory. I thought that it was too thick to wear that way. I also thought it was too expensive. I passed on both pieces.

Seeing that I love plaid and tab sleeve blouses, I knew that I was going to love this shirt. It was really soft and comfortable. I decided to keep this.

This was a great layering piece. I would have liked another color but this will definitely match alot of things. I decided to keep this.

Overall, I was alot happier with this fix. I think Jenni did a good job at sending me transitional fall pieces. I was really happy with the pieces that I kept.

Review: Stitch Fix #12

Hey Guys,
It's been quite a while since I got a fix from Stitch Fix. I finally decided to get one so that I could transition my wardrobe into fall appropriate attire. For those of you unfamiliar with Stitch Fix, it is a personal styling subscription service. You can learn more about Stitch Fix and see my previous fixes on my Subscription Reviews pageBelow is my 12th fix.

Check out the items that I recieved:
Stitch Fix #12
 $44.00

This was the only longer sleeved top that I got. I didn't really like it. It didn't do much for my shape and I wasn't crazy about the detailing on the pocket.

 Stitch Fix #12
$48.00

I really loved this top and thought it fit me very well. I also liked the colors. It was pretty expensive for a short sleeved shirt. I also wasn't looking to add any more short sleeve tops into my wardrobe at this time.

I really liked these leggings and the ankle zip detail. However, these were too expensive in my opinion.

This skirt was really cute and I liked the print. I just wasn't looking to add a skirt into my wardrobe at this time.

I liked this top however, it didn't flatter me once I tried it on.

Overall, this fix was a miss for me. I was looking for season appropriate items. I would have liked 3/4 length. long sleeved shirts, or layering items. I sent all of these items back and spoke to my stylist. She agreed to credit me the $20.00 styling fee and is going to be sending me a new fix with items more geared to what I was looking for.

How to Get Your Best Fix with Stitch Fix:

Hey Guys,
As most of you know, I have been subscribed to Stitch Fix for quite some time now. You can check out all of my Stitch Fix reviews on my Subscriptions Page HERE. I wanted to quickly share some tips on how to get your best possible fix with Stitch Fix. To hear what they are keep reading!

Displaying Stitch-Fix-Personal-Styling-Subscription-box13.jpg

  1. Keep Your Style Profile Up to Date: Stitch Fix is always adding new questions to your style profile. Check every few months to see if things have changed. Also, if you have any changes in style or size preference, make sure to update those too!
  2. Write a Note to Your Stylist Every Time You Schedule a New Fix: Got a special event coming up? Only want a specific type or article of clothing? Note this when you schedule your next fix! I tend to note what I loved or disliked about my previous fix if something really stood out to me. Also, I tend to note when seasons have changed for me in Boston. For example, I might ask for "items that will transition me into the Fall" for August. I also like to note if I am looking for specific items like "send me sweaters and long sleeves".
  3. Always Leave Feedback When You Checkout: Its always best to leave the most feedback possible. What did you like about your fix? What did you dislike about your fix? What did you like or dislike about each specific item? Did you like the color, the style, the cut? Etc. The more info the better. This way your stylist can get to know your likes and dislikes and get your style down to a T.
  4. Link to a Pinterest Style Board: Make sure that you link your pinterest style board to your Stitch Fix account. Also, make sure to keep it up to date! Your stylist will make sure to check out your pins to get an idea of your style and likes. Stitch Fix also has their own pinterest boards. They often post clothing and accessories that they carry on their boards. Make sure to pin any Stitch Fix looks that you are digging. This way your stylist knows that you want it in your fix!

When I saw this shirt, I knew I liked it right away. I love blouse type tops and the floral print was very appropriate for spring. I wasn't too thrilled about the price but I KNEW it would be something that I would wear often. I decided to keep this piece.
