Review: Stitch Fix Men Fix#1

Hey Guys,
Today I am going to share my thoughts (and my boyfriend's) on Stitch Fix Men! I recently did a post sharing the news that Stitch Fix has come out with a men's subscription. You can read that HERE. I decided to have my boyfriend Colin sign up so that I could check it out and see how it compares to the women's subscription. For those of you unfamiliar with Stitch Fix, it is a personal styling subscription service. You can learn more about Stitch Fix and see my previous fixes on my Subscription Reviews page. When Colin signed up he filled out a detailed style profile. He also made a note that he was looking for items for the fall and winter. Keep reading to see what he got!

This was a nice quality tee shirt. It mas made of a soft material and had a good thickness. We both liked that it was reversible and could be worn two ways. However, we thought the price was too high.

This was a nice quilted jacket that neither one of us would normally pick out for him. It would be good for this time of year in MA but might not be warm enough in the winter. It seems like a good quality and the stitching was nice. The jacket was a bit too small for Colin and the price was way too high.

I liked this shirt but Colin didn't love it. He felt like he could get this shirt for half the price at the mall.

We both thought that this shirt was great quality and nice heavy material. I know that Colin doesn't like dark colors as much as I do so he wasn't in love with the color. However, once again, the thing that made him pass on this item was the price. We both felt like it was way too much money.

This shirt was definitely Colin's style. It fit nice and wasn't as expensive as most of the other items in the fix. If he was to buy one item from this box it would have been this button up.

Overall, I thought that the items in the box were really nice. They were great quality and fit Colin and his style pretty well considering this was his first box. However, we both agreed that the items were way too much money. On his profile, they asked how much he was willing to spend per item and he put $50 or less. They didn't follow this request and only one of the five items was under $50.00. This was kind of disappointing. As you guys all know, I love Stitch Fix and think its a great concept and subscription. I have recieved 14 fixes since I first signed up a few years ago. I just feel like they need to add more items that are at lower price points in order for it to be affordable to more people. I think they have done a better job with the women's subscription but I think they need to follow the same with the mens. They definitely need to add lower priced items and do a better job at trying to meet the customer's budget requirements.
