Review: BoxyCharm Oct. & Nov. 2016

Hey Guys,
Today I'm going to share my thoughts on the October and November BoxyCharm boxes. I decided that I am going to cancel Ipsy because it just doesn't excite me enough to keep getting it. I signed up for BoxyCharm because it seems like you get way more bang for your buck. For those of you unfamilair with BoxyCharm, its another monthly beauty subscription like Ipsy. The difference is that you receive 5 FULL SIZED products each month instead of samples. The subscription is $21.00 a monthly and like Ipsy, they have featured products each month that everyone gets, and then other items that are varied from customer to customers. Check out my video below to see what I got in my first two boxes. Keep reading to see my thoughts on each product!

I have wanted to try Luxie brushes for a while so I was super excited to see these blending brushes in the October box!

These colors look really pretty. I have seen swatches and the shadows are really pigmented. I haven't decided if I am going to keep this trio or pass it on since I already have a bunch of colors like this.

I have tried mini konjac sponges before so I was excited to see this. I will definitely get some good use out of it.

I am kind of afraid of liquid color products like bronzers, highlighters, and blushes. I will definitely give this a try though.

BoxyCharm Oct. & Nov. 2016
I probably won't use this item since I don't really take care of my nails. I will probably pass this on to someone that is interested in using this kind of product.

Total Value $120.50

This is a wicked pretty rose gold highlight. Its pretty pigmented. Since it has a pink/coral tone to it, I will probably use this as a blush topper. The packaging of this is gorgeous.

Here is a swatch of the highlighter:

When I saw swatches of this palette I signed up for BoxyCharm right away. I love the taupe-y purple shades. Unfortunately when I used it it wasn't as pigmented as I was expecting it to be. However, I made it work and the look that I created was really pretty. The colors didn't crease and lasted all night. I suggest using your fingers to apply the really glittery/shimmery shades.

I am looking forward to trying this face masks. I don't have many paper masks so they are a nice switch up from tall the clay ones that I have.

I really liked this brush when I used it. The bristles are really soft. I used this to apply shadow to my lower lash line instead of my crease.

I recieved this mascara as one of my giveaway prizes from El's giveaway. I haven't tried it yet but if I do like it, I will have a backup. If I don't like it I will pass it on to a family member or friend.

Total Value $136.94
