Review: PUR Cosmetics Soiree Diaries Palette

I'm finally ready to share my thoughts on the PUR Soiree Diaries Palette. I got this in one of my BoxyCharm quite some time ago. Originally, this palette didn't really interest me and I was going to save it for a giveaway.A few of you mentioned that you wanted to see a review of the palette.   I decided to give it a try and boy was I happy that I did. Review: Derma E Vitamin C Micellar Cleansing Water & Radiance Toner

Today I'm going to share my thoughts on some Derma E products. While I was at Gen Beauty NYC I went over to the Derma E booth and introduced myself since I had worked with them in the past. I got to meet one of the PR reps for the brand and she was super sweet. She gifted me with an influencer goody bag which contained the two products that I will be discussing in this post. For those of you unfamiliar with Derma E, All of their products are natural, cruelty free, and 100% vegan. Derma E is now found at Target, Ulta, Whole Foods, and on their website.  I first discovered Derma E back when I was subscribed to Ipsy. I recieved a jar of the Derma E Microdermabrasion Scrub in one one my bags and to this day its one of my favorites. I reviewed a bunch of their other products which you can check out HERE. Derma E Vitamin C Micellar Cleansing Water $12.95

Here is what is said about this product on the Derma E site:

Ingredients:

Purified Water, Propanediol (Vegetable Derived), Sorbitan Oleate Decylglucoside Crosspolymer (Plant Derived), Polysorbate 20, Sodium Ascorbyl Phosphate (Vitamin C, Stay-C® 50), Phytic Acid, Alpha-Glucan Oligosaccharide (Vegetable Derived), Polymnia Sonchifolia (Yacón) Root Juice, Maltodextrin, Lactobacillus (Probiotic), Aspalathus Linearis (Rooibos) Leaf Extract, Phenoxyethanol, Ethylhexylglycerin, Natural Fragrance Oils.

Previous to this, I have never tried any Micellar Waters before. I was really excited to give this a try. I have been using both this Micellar Water and the Radiance Toner for about 3-4 weeks. For the most part, I have been using them together both AM and PM. However, once or twice a week I switch things up and use other products. When It comes to the Micellar Water, I think its great as an added product to cleanse your face. I wouldn't use this in place of a makeup remover but instead use it AFTER washing off your making and cleansing your face. It will get any extra dirt or makeup that a cleanser or makeup remover has missed. It has a very subtle citrus scent and feels nice on the face. I do feel that my face feels refreshed after using it and I love that it contains anti aging probiotics and antioxidants. I love using this in the AM when I wake up. Because I shower at night, I remove all my makeup, cleanse my face, and do a whole skincare routine before bed. When I wake up in the AM my face isn't DIRTY. Therefore, I just splash some water on my face and use the Micellar Water as a refresher. I also think its great to use after working out. 

Review: Garnier Whole Blends Hydrating Coconut Water & Vanilla Milk Mask

Today I am going to share my thoughts on the new Garnier Whole Blends Hydrating Mask. I love masks hair masks and haven't use them in a while.I picked this up MONTHS ago but just got around to trying it a couple of weeks ago. Keep reading to hear more about this hair mask and my thoughts on it!

On to my thoughts:

This mask is paraben free and gentle enough to use every day. It supposed to hydrate your hair without weighting it down. You leave it on for a couple minutes then wash out. This is the best smelling hair mask that I have ever tried! It smells exactly as it noted above...like coconuts and vanilla. You get a ton of product for under $7.00. The jar is about 10oz. The mask itself is almost a yogurt like consistency. It spreads easily through hair. My hair instantly felt like silk after washing it out. I think it did a great job at making my hair feel soft and hydrated. I let my hair air dry overnight and you could still smell a subtle version of the fragrance once dry. Overall, I highly recommend this hair mask and can't wait to try other scents of the Garnier Whole Blends line!

Review: FarmHouse Fresh Splendid Dirt Nutrient Mud Mask with Organic Pumpkin Puree

Today I want to share with you an awesome brand that I discovered on the Dermstore site. FarmHouse Fresh is a Texas based skincare and body care brand that is paraben and sulfate free. Many of their products are natural, vegan, and/or gluten free.The product that I recently purchased was their Splendid Dirt Nutrient Mud Mask with Organic Pumpkin Puree. They had a bunch of other masks that interested me but I decided to try this one.

Onto my thoughts about this product:

I love the packaging of this product. Its in a decent sized glass container with a tin top. It gives vintage/home made feel to the product. The mask itself has a pudding consistency. It smells AWESOME! Just like pumpkin pie! Yum! The product spreads pretty easily on your face. I applied a decent layer to my skin and it harden in a few minutes. Coming from someone that doesn't like tingle/burn products I was a little scared when I read that this tingles. However, it got great reviews and people raved about how clean their skin felt after. This product does in fact tingle/burn for a couple minutes but I stayed strong and refused to wash it off. The tingling sensation does die down after a couple minutes. Then your face just feels a cool sensation. After washing this off my face felt so soft and clean.

Overall, I am so happy with this mask and glad that I discovered this brand. The mask is a good size for the price that you pay. It definitely beats the price of the Glam Glow masks which are 3x as much money. It smells great and works awesome. I really can't wait to try more masks and other products by FarmHouse Fresh!
