Today I'm going to share my thoughts on my BoxyCharm for October. For those of you unfamiliar with BoxyCharm, it is a monthly beauty subscription box. You receive 4-5 FULL SIZED products each month. The subscription is $21.00 a month and usually has a theme. They also offer an upgraded box every quarter called BoxyLuxe. This is an additional $28.99 a quarter. The theme for October is "Alter Ego". I was happy when I saw the spoilers this month but not blown away. Keep reading to see what I got and to hear my thoughts. PUR Midnight Masquerade Palette $38.00
When I first saw that we were getting this palette I was underwhelmed. I didn't love the first PUR x BoxyCharm palette and the colors in this palette are out of my comfort zone. However, after seeing it in person I felt a lot differently. The colors are very creamy and super pigmented. They also have a slight vanilla or cocoa scent which is really nice. I watched Kathleen Lights create a look with this palette that came out beautiful. She used the blushes on the left as shadows which is a great idea. I am super excited to create a look with Twilight, Enchantment, Sneak Peek, and Mask Off.
All of the products in this palette are shimmers. The packaging of this palette and the embossed details on the face products are beautiful.
I love the versatility of the face products and think this palette is unlike any other one that I own.

Kat Von D Everlasting Liquid Lipstick in KDUB $20.00
I was really excited when I saw that we were getting a Kat Von D Everlasting Liquid Lipstick as I already own a few of her shades and like the formula. My favorite shade is Lolita. There were atleast 10+ different shade variations in the box. Of course, out of ALL the colors in the box, I get the one bright fuschia that I wouldn't really use. Most of the colors were more neutral or dark red and I get the one purple/pink cool toned color of the bunch. I was really bummed to get KDUB. However, I decided to be more positive about it and realize I have a TON of neutral liquid lipsticks so this is a more fun color that I probably won't wear very often but I will make an effort to wear it at some point.

I've had a sample of this mascara before and it didn't do much for my lashes. I will keep this and try it at some point to see if the full size product applies any different.
I really liked the Farmacy mask that I got in a previous BoxyCharm and just got the Farmacy Dew It All Total Eye Cream in my FabFitFun box. I was super excited to see another Farmacy product this month! This brand has great reviews and I can't wait to try this cleansing balm since I've never tried one before.
This mask kind of scares me after seeing Kathleen Lights rip it off her face. I may try it if I am brave enough since she said it made her skin feel super soft and clean (but super red!).

Overall, I really liked this box! It was way better than I was expecting which is a plus! I think I will use every product in this box eventually. My favorite product in the box is probably the PUR Palette but I'm honestly not disappointed in any of the products this month after getting it and seeing them all in person. I might even say this is ONE of my favorite boxes I've received. That being said...the November Box looks AWESOME! and so does the December BoxyLuxe Box! We are getting some amazing brands/products and I can't wait!
