Today I'm going to share my thoughts on the Charlotte Tilbury Pillow Talk Medium Lip Kit! I have already done reviews of the original Pillow Talk HERE and Very Victoria HERE. I decided to pick up the Pillow Talk Medium Shade because I like Mauve toned lipsticks and I love the formula of the Matte Revolution Lipsticks. On to my thoughts:
I really love the formula of the Matte Revolution lipsticks. They are such a nice rich and creamy texture with a matte finish that doesn't make your lips look or feel dry. This lipstick is on par with the formula. The color itself is considered a warm berry-pink but it pulls more purple than pink on me which I prefer. The lipstick shade is really pretty but definitely not an everyday color for me. I tend to wear more neutral or lighter shades like the original Pillow Talk or Very Victoria. This lipstick will be something that I reach for when I want a mauve/berry toned lipstick. The liner is also on par with the Lip Cheat formula with its creamy consistency and great pigmentation. The color is a perfect match to the lipstick. If you are a fan of these tones I highly recommend these products.
As I mentioned in my previous posts, Charlotte Tilbury products are available at Sephora but you can get them for a discounted price on the Charlotte Tilbury site whether it be purchasing a lip kit where you get a little savings, signing up for their email newsletters, or waiting until she has a sale. These products are available to purchase on their own or in the kit. They also make a mini Deluxe Sample size for about half the price. I will link the products from both the Charlotte Tilbury and Sephora sites below. I definitely plan to pick up more Matte Revolution lipsticks. I'm thinking more of a nude shade next.
