May Favorites

Hi Ladies,
May was a super busy month for me so it flew by. It has been pretty nice for the past couple of weeks and I really can't wait to enjoy the weather some more. I definitely failed my no buy this month but oh well. I'll try again soon. Most of my favorites this month are new products but a couple of them I have had for a while.

Bite Beauty Lipstick in Violet

For Christmas, I got the Bite Beauty High Pigment Pencil Kit that came with four mini crayons/pencils. I instantly fell in love with this brand. The products are so beautiful and pigmented. When I saw these double sided lipsticks while standing in line at Sephora, I knew I had to have them. The duo costs $12.00 and comes with two decent sized travel/deluxe sample sized lipsticks. I got the neutral duo as well as the brighter one. The one in the above picture has Palomino on one end (magenta/hot pink) and Violet on the other side. I absolutely LOVE the Violet. Bite Beauty calls it a Magenta Violet. I love how the colors looks with my skin tone and this pastel green blouse that I have. I hope that Bite Beauty comes out with more trial/deluxe sample size products/kits since their full size products are a bit expensive ($24.00 for a lipstick). If not, I may even purchase some of their full sized products.

Milani Luminoso and Delizioso Pink Baked Blushes

At the end of April, I decided to finally try some of the Milani baked blushes. The two that I have been wearing the most are Luminoso and Delizioso Pink. I recently reviewed my whole collection of Milani Blushes HERE. Luminoso is a beautiful peach color and Delizioso Pink is a baby doll pink. I can't wait to pick up more of these blushes.

Kat Von D Tattoo Liner in Trooper
This is definitely my HG black liquid liner. I had this in my favorites at the beginning of the year but it is really my favorite liner every month. I just purchased a new one and that is why it is on my list again. I can't say enough good things about this liner. It is such a rich and pigmented black. It doesn't smudge and stays on all day long. It also lasts forever! The brush tip applicator is very unique but easy to use.

Nyx Jumbo Eye Pencil in Milk

I purchased this after seeing people use it as an eyeshadow base. Though I wasn't super impressed using is that way, I do really like lining my waterline with it. It gives a bit more of a dramatic effect than when I use a nude liner. I have been using this several times a week,

theBalm Nude'tude Palette

It's really hard for me to say that I have favorite eyeshadow palette because I use so many different ones each  month. However,  I do tend to use some more than others each month. For May, I used Nude'tude quite a bit. I recently posted a review on this HERE. This is a great neutral palette with tons of shimmery shades. I used the peaches and medium brown shades the most.

Motives Contour Kit

I am really loving this contour kit. I am working on a review of this and hope to have it posted in June. The powders are really creamy and work well with my skin tone.

Real Techniques Detailer Brush from Core Collection Kit

I didn't really use this brush much when I first got it. I did a full review on the Real Techniques Core Collection Brush Kit HERE. I now use this brush everyday along with my Anastasia Dip Brow. After shaping and filling my brows, I go in with this and some Nyx HD Concealer to clean up the edges. It is the perfect size to do so.

derma-e Microdermabrasion Scrub

I just recieved this in my May Ipsy Glam Bag. You can see a review of this month's bag and a mini review of this scrub HERE. I have only used this about 3 times so far but I already really like it. I may even consider purchasing it after I use up this generously sized sample. I like using this once a week to really get down deep into my pores. It a bit more abrasive than my normal daily exfoliator. My face feels so clean after using this.

I hope that you enjoyed reading about my May favorites!
