Review: Korres Wild Rose Vitamin C Petal Peel*

Hey Guys,
Today I am going to share my thoughts on the KORRES Wild Rose Vitamin C Petal Peel. I have used their body butters before and really liked them so i was super excited to be able to try out some of their skincare products. Keep reading to hear my thoughts on this two step peel system!

Korres Wild Rose Vitamin C Petal Peel
Here is what is said about these products on the Sephora site:
"Peel, heal, and reveal brighter, petal-soft skin—naturally. A powerful natural alternative to chemical peels, this advanced vitamin C brightening system supports natural cell renewal, helps smooth the appearance of fine lines and discolorations, and gives skin an instant boost of radiance. Step one, an aloe-based Activating Peel Gel, cleanses the skin while it opens pores to allow the active ingredients in step two to penetrate deeper. A 10 percent concentration of natural fruit, glycolic, and sugar-derived lactic AHAs peel away dead outer skin cells and remove impurities, dirt, and excess sebum without irritation. An equal concentration of healing aloe simultaneously soothes and softens skin. Step two, an intensive Brightening & Revealing Peel Mask, contains an additional dose of 10 percent AHAs and natural pomegranate enzymes for additional peeling, exfoliating, and resurfacing action. Vitamin C rich wild rose oil is boosted with pure, stabilized vitamin C to brighten skin while and aloe vera and hyaluronic acid heal, hydrate, and plump. "

Onto my thoughts:
I really liked this peel! It made my face feel so clean after and I did think my face looked a bit brighter as well. I wasn't crazy about the scent because I don't like floral scents in general but it wasn't overpowering to the point where it bothered me. The Wild Rose serum applied very nicely and was light and not sticky at all. The Wild Rose cream/mask reminded me of a thick Greek yogurt. It doesn't fully dry down and make your skin itch. This system has a mild burning sensation that some people may not like. For those of you that may be sensitive to this, you may want to keep the peel on for a shorter period of time. I have tried other masks that had a far worse burning sensation so I personally think that this peel is worth trying out. One last thing I should mention, this product contains ingredients that may make you sensitive to the sun. Therefore, you are more susceptible for sunburn. I would avoid going to the beach or being in the direct sunlight for after using this product (for about a week).
