Review: ColourPop x Delilah/Make-A-Wish Foundation

Today I'm sharing my thoughts on a new ColourPop collaboration with the Make-A-Wish Foundation. Delilah Juarez a 17 year old girl battling Osteosarcoma wanted to create a makeup collection that would benefit cancer patients. The Make-A-Wish Foundation teamed up with ColourPop to make it happen! Below is the ColourPop x Delilah Collection that she created! From October 11th 2018-January 11th 2019 ColourPop will donate 20% of the proceeds to Make-A-Wish. Okay on Lids and Wish on Lips

Overall, this collection is very pretty but more importantly I love the cause! Whenever there is a touching story behind a makeup line (or other products) I love to support the cause. Delilah's story touched my heart so I knew I had to buy the whole collection. I love giving back and its the one time I don't feel bad about buying things I know I don't need. I definitely have some favorites from her collection. I'm not a huge fan of lip gloss so while New Day and JJ are both wearable every day colors, I don't love the consistency or the brush applicator. I LOVE the Ultra Satin Lip in Wish. It's a beautiful warm nude you can wear everyday and its also my favorite formula! The quad is very pretty and while I'm not a huge fan of glittery shadow, I really like it in these shadows. Okay is a very subtle color you can apply all over your lid and run out the door. Cherish surprised me and I liked this alot more than I thought I was going to. Its great again to use all over lid but is going to give you more drama than Cherish. DJ is a beautiful copper and great for a fall look. Warrior is a very pretty bold teal that you can pop on the lower lashes or all over your lid for a more bold colorful look. I think its a great idea to buy both collections just to support the cause. If you don't love some of the colors, save them for stocking stuffers or holiday gifts!
