Review: City Color Cosmetics Contour Stick and Cream Highlight*

Today I am going to share my thoughts on the City Color Cosmetics Contour Stick and Cream Highlight. I have wanted to try a contour stick for quite a while. This one is a little different than the ones from other brands as it has a cream highlight on the other end instead of a highlight stick.

This contour stick comes in three shades; light, medium and dark. As you can see the contour end is shaped like a lipstick. It is a matte medium brown with a warm undertone. The highlight is very creamy and shimmery.

Onto my thoughts:

I really like this contour stick and cream highlight! The contour is really easy to apply to your face and blends really nicely. I went really light on the contouring since I am a newbie and didn't want to make myself look silly. I think this is a great product to teach you how to contour. You only need a little of the cream highlight because it is very shimmery and you don't want to overdo it. I used the doe foot applicator to add the product to my face but used my fingers to blend it out. I do wish the applicator was a little less stiff. But like I said, overall, I really like it!

I didn't want to go super dramatic with the contouring since it was my first time using this product. However, I am going to mess around with it and try some more dramatic contouring in the future.
