Review: Makeup Geek Brushes

Hey Guys,
Today I am going to share my thoughts on some Makeup Geek brushes that I bought during their 12 days of Christmas specials. The deal was $23.00 plus shipping for a rounded blush brush, a stippling brush, and a face buffer brush. I hadn't tried any of their makeup brushes before so I was excited to try them out.

Face Buffer Brush $18.00

I used this brush to apply foundation. This was soft but wasn't dense, stiff, or full enough.

Rounded Blush Brush $10.00

This brush is very small and isn't thick or wide enough. I wouldn't use this as a blush brush. It looked bigger in the picture. I would use this to apply setting powder under my eyes or to apply highlight to my cheek.

Stippling Brush $18.00

Just like the buffing brush, this brush was soft but was too flimsy. It wasn't stiff enough and there weren't enough hairs/bristles to make this a good foundation brush.

Overall, I was disappointed with these brushes and think that they are just ok.  They are soft but aren't anything special. They do an ok job of applying the product but I prefer all of my other makeup brushes (Morphe, BDellium, e.l.f., M.A.C. etc.) over these. I don't know if these were just made specifically for this sale and they differ from the normal brushes, or if they are the same quality.  Based off these makeup brushes specifically, I do not recommend the Makeup Geek stippling, buffer, and rounded blush brushes. I think that Morphe Brushes are much better.
