Review: Prism Cosmetics

Prism Cosmetics
Hey Guys,
Today I am going to share my thoughts on a bunch of products I won in a giveaway. My blogger friend Keisha from The Chrysalis Gal hosted a giveaway a couple months ago. The giveaway featured her very own makeup line Prism Cosmetics. I was the lucky winner and recieved the makeup super quick! Keep reading to hear about Prism Cosmetics and the items that I recieved.

Prism Sassy Lids Eye Palette in Espresso Yourself  $36.00
Prism Cosmetics
These shadows are super soft, creamy, and pigmented. These shadows are pretty large compared to your average shadows in a palette. This palette contains 2 true mattes, 1 shimmer, 1 shimmer with glitter flecks, and one matte with a hint of shimmer.
Prism Cosmetics
The first color is a matte deep silvery taupe brown , second is a soft gold beige with sparkling golden flecks, third is a shimmering golden bronze, fourth is a matte ash brown, and 5th is a white/cream highlight shade with a very slight shimmer (which is why I would consider it almost matte).
Prism Cosmetics
These shadows apply and blend beautifully. I didn't experience any serious fallout in the pan or on my face. The shadows lasted all day without any serious creasing. The only thing I would have like to seen in this palette is a matte transition shade. My favorite color is the champagne shade. Its so pretty and such a nice color for the lid.

Prism Lipstick in Vintage Rose $15.00
Prism Cosmetics
This is a soft antique pink with a slight metallic/shimmer to it. It contains natural vanillin extract and vitamin E and feels really nice on the lips. Its not super pigmented but leaves a nice wash of color on the lips. This is a lipstick shade that you don't need to apply too precisely. It would be a color you could throw in your purse and have on you whenever you want to add a bit of color to your lips.

Prism Ultra Matte Liquid Lipstick in Dangerous $18.00
Prism Cosmetics

Prism Cosmetics
This is a matte ruby red. Its super pigmented, creamy, and almost feels like a mousse like consistency. I didn't find this to be drying at all. It took a little bit to dry down fully. It lasted several hours without reapplication. I did need to reapply after eating and drinking.

Prism Invisible Lip and Brow Pencil $15.00
Prism Cosmetics
This is a clear brow and lip pencil. It helps prevent lip colors from bleeding or feathering past your lip line. You can also use it on your brows before applying brow products. It is said to be long wearing and waterproof. I don't wear super dark lipstick often but when I do, a clear lip liner is a must!

Here is a look that I created using some of these products:

Brow: 5th shade
Lid: 2nd shade
Transition:
Crease: 3rd shade
Inner Corner: 2nd shade
Lower Lash Line: 3rd & 4th shade
Lips: Lipstick in Vintage Rose

I wanted to create a daytime look so I didn't go in with the 2 darker matte shades. To turn this into a night look I would simply add the 1st or 4th shades to the outer v. I would also add more to the lower lash line to smoke it out. Lastly, I would swap out the lip color and use the matte liquid lipstick in Dangerous.

Overall, I really loved trying out these products! The standout products for me are the matte liquid lipstick in Dangerous and the Sassy Lids Eye Palette in Espresso Yourself. Thanks to Keisha for creating these products and for hosting such a generous giveaway!
