Review: Ipsy Glam Bag Feb 2014

HI Ladies!
I FINALLY got my Feb Glam Bag! I feel like I am always the last person to get mine. Below is  my review of this month's bag. If you have never heard of Ipsy and want to learn more, you can read about this service and see what I got in previous months on my Subscription Reviews page.

I was so excited when I took a peek in my Glam Room this month (on Ipsy's site you can log in and see the items that they are sending you). I didn't know what colors I was getting so it was exciting seeing what they sent me! Last month's bag was a bit of a dud. Ipsy definitely made up for it this month. I have been subscribed to this service for 3 months and this has been my favorite bag so far!

Zoya Nail Polish in Odette

I rarely paint mynails but with all the inspiration I have seen on other blogs lately, I decided to paint them. The color is pretty and definitely makes me think of the Spring. You could definitely get away with using just one coat but I wanted the color to be dark. I have heard really good things about this brand of nail polish. This is a full size product and retails for $9.00.

POP Beauty Plump Pout Mini in Peony Petal

I was looking forward to trying this lip gloss. I am a lippie addict so I am always excited about trying new lip products and brands. I really liked this color. The product itself is very creamy and pigmented. The full size product goes for at $16.00 and contains 8g of product. This deluxe sample contains about 4g of product. This would bring this at a cost of about $7.52.

Dr. Lin Skincare Acne Spot Corrector

I have never heard of this brand before and I can't say much about the product itself since I haven't used it yet. I am not particularly excited about it. However, if I do get a bunch of pimples and this works wonders, I will most def be doing a separate review on it. This is a travel size product and costs $4.50.

Tini Beauty Eyetini Cordial Cream Shadow + Base in One in Ambrosia

I was most excited about getting this product. When I saw that other people were getting the Jesse's Girl Eye Shadow Palette I was a little disappointed when I wasn't. However, that quad retails for $3.99 so I could easily pick that up if I really wanted it. This cream eye shadow is a full size product and retails for $18.00. That really made me happy when I realized this. I was crossing my fingers that I would get the color Ambrosia. When I opened my bag and saw this shade in there I jumped for joy. This color is SO GORGEOUS! It stays on really well with minimal creasing. I am not big on cream eye shadows but I like this one. The only thing I would say even slightly negative is that when I blended this onto my eye with my finger, the color got a little washed out. You def have to build up the color with this. What I did was put on a layer than let it dry. Next I used the doe foot applicator and swiped it directly onto my lid without blending. This made the color stay on much better.

City Color Be Matte Blush in Fresh Melon

I was happy to see that I was going to be getting a blush this month. I was even more excited that it was a pretty big full size product! This blush is SUPER pigmented and creamy. It goes on beautifully and the color is amazing. I don't have any blush quite this color so I am really happy about that. What makes this even more awesome is that this blush retails for $2.99. This is a very affordable product. Now that I tried it I know that this is a good quality item as well. I would def. try this blush in other colors.

Here is a picture of me wearing the blush, lip gloss, and eye shadow from this month's Ipsy Bag!

The Verdict:
After adding up all the items from this month's bag, the total came to $42.01. This bag was most definitely worth the $10.00 that I paid for it. I love all of the products that I got and think that I will use all of them. I am so happy with this subscription service and highly recommend it.
