Stitch Fix: Fix #5

Hi Ladies!
It has felt like forever since I got my last fix. I was SO EXCITED when I got this sweet package in the mail. For those of you unfamiliar with Stitch Fix, it is a personal styling service for women. You can sign up monthly or whenever you choose. Clothing and accessories are sent to you based on your personal style, preferences, etc. You can read more about Stitch Fix and my previous fixes HERE.  You can also go to my Subscription Reviews tab and all of my previous fixes are listed on there.

On to my fix! I got my last fix on Halloween. When scheduling my fix, I asked for winter appropriate items such as sweaters, long sleeves, etc. I also asked for the same stylist Jenni B.. I had interacted with her frequently before my last fix and felt she had a pretty good idea of my style and needs. Lastly, I asked her to try her best to stay in my price range per item (under $50.00) as long as it doesn't compromise the quality of what she sends me.

Here is what I got:
Price $28.00

I thought this blouse was really cute. I loved the lace detail and the cost was right in my price range. I chose not to purchase this item because I have SO MANY blouses. If I was not planning to do another fix next month, then I would have purchased this.

Price $48.00

I liked this shirt better on than in person. I liked the ombre design and the light weight fabric. I thought it was a little expensive and didn't love the length of the sweater. I always feel like crop tops don't look right on me.

Price $48.00

I wasn't wowed by this shirt when i took it out of the box but when I put it on, it fit me perfect. I really love the stretchy material and how it fits my body so well. The price was a little high in my opinion but I decided to get it because I really liked how it looked on me.

Price $28.00

I loved this shirt when I took it out of the box. I like chambray shirts and how unique this piece was.  I love the look of button ups under sweaters I just feel like its too much heavy clothing so I don't ever do this. This shirt creates a similar look and is very light weight. I have thicker arms and broad shoulders. This shirt was tight on my arms and back but it fits me everywhere else. A medium would be too big. I decided to purchase this because I fell in love with the uniqueness of it and it was only $28.00 which was a big plus. I am really hoping the material stretches out a bit in the arms and back throughout the day.

Price $48.00

I am not crazy about dolman's but I really liked how this fit. It is a stretchy material and fit me well. I also like the color since I don't own any purple shirts. I like that I can dress this up or down and wear it with jeans or leggings. I decided to keep this.

The Verdict:
Overall I was really pleased with this fix. There wasn't anything that I really disliked. I was very appreciative that Jenni really kept my budget in mind when choosing these items. This is my second fix with her and I can't wait to get my one next month. I would have purchased the whole fix if I wasn't going to do it again next month. If I purchased the whole fix it would have been $200.00 minus the $20.00 styling fee and 25% off ($45.00) which equals $135.00. Therefore the total would be $155.00. The total of the 3 items that I kept (striped shirt, mixed material button up, dolman top) was $124.00. My $20.00 styling fee was subtracted since I already paid that so the balance was $104.00.
