Beach Bum to Boardwalk Babe Collaboration

Hi Ladies!
I wanted to do a Summer Beach makeup look and I asked a few of my blogger friends to join me. Also participating in this collab will be El from The Beauty Isle, Chelsea from Tiger Love Beauty, Cella from Never Not Glamorous, and Keisha from The Chrysalis Gals.

This collab is a little different than other ones I have recently done. I wanted to make it a little more creative so I decided to come up with a scenario as the core of this collab.

So here is the situation: Beach Bum to Boardwalk Babe

You have just spent a day at the beach and want to hit up a local restaurant, bar, or the boardwalk. You don't live near by and only brought a few items to fix yourself up before going out. What items did you bring?

I asked each person to share the items that they would bring. I also asked them to create a look with these items and share the look.

Here are the items that I chose:

Philosophy Take A Deep Breath Moisturizer- To start off, I would go to the beach bathroom and wet my face and get all the sunblock and salt off. Next, I need to moisturize. After being at the beach all day, your skin needs some hydration.

Rimmel BB Cream in Medium-Depending on what my face looks like, I might need to add a BB cream to even out the color (or redness). I could also add a little powder on top if needed as I tend to get oily. A greasy face is not cute.

Nyx HD Concealer in Beige-Because I have super dark circles, I can never do any type of makeup without concealer. I also would use this on my lids to give them an even base color.

Rimmel Natural Bronzer in Sunshine- This specific bronzer is a bit shimmery but I will be using it for both a natural crease color on my eyelids and on my cheeks.

Laura Gellar Baked Highigher- I would use this on my lid and brow bone to highlight without too much color.

Laura Mercier Baked Powder in Bronze 03-This is also a great bronze color. It has no shimmer so this may end up in my bag too. I tend to use this more on my cheeks and the Rimmel Bronzer as a shadow.

Rimmel Scandaleyes Mascara-I can go without eyeliner but definitely not mascara. This will open up my eyes and make them pop a little.

Rimmel Show Off Lip Lacquer in Celestial-Its hard to pick an exact lip color because I have sooo many however, I would prob keep it simple to go with the rest of my look. Celestial is a pretty rose pink that is just a little bit brighter than my natural lip color. I have been using this color a lot so I'm just going to go with this one.

Here is the look that I created using the above items:

If I wanted to add a little drama to the above look, I could add three more items:
MAC Ricepaper Eyeshadow-This is a great neutral cream colored eyeshadow. If I wanted to add more contrast, I could use this color on my eyelids and brow bone.

MAC Tempting Eyeshadow-This is a glittery medium colored brown shadow. I could add a little of this to my outer v to add more depth to my eyes.

Urban Decay 24/7 Eyeliner in Zero- Because I am trying to bring minimal products, I would bring a normal eyeliner as opposed to my fav liquid liner. I could add this color to my upper lash line and/or lower waterline.

Here is my look with the above items added to the look:
Not a huge difference from the first look but subtle differences to the eye area.

For my hair, I would probably bring some hair mousse or scrunching spray/beach wave spray and keep it down.

Please make sure that you take the time and check out the looks that the other ladies have created!
