Website and Product Review: Simple Addiction

Hi Ladies, 

I have posted about this site once but I wanted to touch back again after purchasing from the company several times now.

Simple Addiction is a website that sells jewelry, clothing items, shoes, accessories etc. Each day they put up new offerings that are available for a limited time. (The item is usually available for a week or so). Once the item is off their site you can no longer purchase but they usually rotate items and they become available again at some time in the future. I came across this site on Facebook and am so happy that I found it. I love costume jewelry but have found that much of it is overpriced. This site has AWESOME prices for very unique and beautiful pieces. The most I have seen for a necklace was about $19.95. After purchasing from them I can tell you that the quality of these items are great for the price you pay. Their shipping is only $2.00 and it is free when you spend $35.00 or more. The only thing even remotely negative I have to say is it takes a little longer then normal to receive them with the standard shipping (took about a week and a half to receive my last order). But, I am always in a rush to get things so this may not bother other people. It most definitely does not stop me from ordering for them. Favorite Retail Stores

Some people may not consider me a "true" fashion blogger because I am not posting about high end designers like Versace, Carolina Herrera, D&G, etc. This is not because I don't appreciate the trends that they have created (that trickle down to the little people) but because I am interested in fashion that is obtainable to me and other people like me. These runway looks are awesome and many of the brands that I wear are inspired by these designer fashions. In this post, I am going to discuss my favorite retail stores that the average woman can shop at. There are many great brands out there but I decided to narrow it down and discuss 5.

E.L.F. Cosmetics-Super Affordable Makeup

I'm sure many of you have heard of e.l.f. Cosmetics before but if you haven't  e.l.f. stands for eyes, lips, face. This cosmetics line can be found on their website eyeslipsface.com as well as at Target. While I don't consider the line high end, it is very affordable and worth checking out. There are some eye shadows that are very pigmented but there are also some shadows that aren't so good. The items are so inexpensive (most items between $1.00-$5.00 each) that buying a handful of stuff just to try out wouldn't hurt your pocket.

They constantly have special offers so make sure you sign up for their emails. A recent offer was spend $25.00 (which can get you A LOT of things) and get a free gift with offer code "xxx". The free gifts often come with a variety of their products such as liners, mascaras, primers, shadows. It is a good way to try out a bunch of their products. They also have a new subscription offer where you pay a certain price and get a bunch of items shipped to you monthly, every couple of months, twice a year, etc. I have not tried it but they are definitely following the trend of subscriptions.

Fashion For Less-Go Jane

GOjane  is one of my favorite sites for inexpensive and cute shoes. I have purchased from them several times over the past couple of years and never spent more than $40.00 on a pair of shoes. Their average price shoes range from $25-$35.00. You can definitely find some under $20.00 which is a steal. GOjane also sells clothes, accessories, jewelry, etc but I feel like their shoes are where they shine. The shoes are not super high quality but they also do not fall apart. I still have and wear all the shoes I purchased from them. They have held up pretty well over 2 winters. GOjane frequently has sales and free shipping offers.

Hey Guys! So I recently noticed on Facebook that there are new suggested pages to "like" on my news feed. I have come across some really cool retail/fashion sites and wanted to share a couple.


The first is called Simple Addiction. Its an online website that offers limited time only deals on jewelry, clothing, and accessories. The items are inexpensive and super cute! Each item has a time stamp that shows how long the item is available for. If you fall in love with an item, don't wait! Get it before its gone!
