Hey Guys,
Today I'm going to share my Gen Beauty NYC experience. I shared my Gen Beauty Haul HERE. As many of you know, this was my first year attending Gen Beauty. I chose to go to the one in New York since it is the closest to me. Check out my video below to hear all about my experience! I have shared some pics below from the weekend in case you wanted to check them out!
Gen Beauty took place at the Javits Center in Manhattan, NY.
Friday when we arrived, we checked into the hotel. I roomed with 3 other IpsyOS members. Saydi (@saydikatherine), Molika (@simplysovann) and Madison (@makeupbymaddz_). Madison was lucky enough to be invited to the Gen Beauty Cocktail party Friday night. Saydi, Molika, and I headed to dinner at Ivy Bar & Grill. I caught up with my blogging buddy Jackie from Five Two Beauty who joined us as well!
I registered for Gen Beauty on Friday so that I could get my badge ahead of time.
Molika and I taking a selfie before heading to Day 1 of Gen Beauty!
A selfie taken at the Rimmel London booth as part of the tasks to get the free gift!
Spinning the wheel to see what I win!
I was lucky enough to attend a special workshop hosted by the infamous Mario Dedivanovic where he shared his tips on creating a flawless glam look for the red carpet. He focused on creating a flawless complexion.
While the model that he chose from the audience was beautiful, this man was ADORABLE and flawless himself! SWOON!
I got there early and snagged a seat in the front row!

After Day 1 of Gen Beauty we attended a dinner hosted by Julia Salvia at Patrizia's Manhattan!
These were the only OOTD pics we were able to get as it was a mad dash from one event to the next!
Julia was such a sweetheart and made sure to come around and say hi to everyone and thank us for coming to the dinner. She is beautiful too!
We were given these awesome giftbags at her dinner. They were pack with beauty products from a bunch of different dinner sponsors.
After dinner we had a few drinks in the East Village at some little hole in the wall bar. It had really good music!
As you can tell from this pic, Molika was having a blast!
Day 2 of Gen Beauty I made sure to get a pic on the pink carpet!
The MAC booth had some fun areas to take pictures.
This booth was crazy both days! So many people waiting in line.
The Derma E booth had an amazing ring light set up for pictures!
As did the CoverGirl booth which was beautiful! I wish I took more pics of the convention but I was trying to fully experience it without social media ruining it.
Lock Color had some fun cut outs that we had to take pics with and post on Instagram.
Those were all of the pics that I took that weekend. I hope you can take the time to hear all about my experience because it was A-M-A-Z-I-N-G and I will definitely be back next year!
