Hey Guys,
Today I'm going to share my thoughts on my BoxyCharm for October! I'm super late but I still wanted to get this review up. For those of you unfamiliar with BoxyCharm, it is a monthly beauty subscription box. You receive 4-5 FULL SIZED products each month. The subscription is $21.00 a month and usually has a theme. The theme for the month of October was "Spellbound". Check out my video below to hear my thoughts on each product. Keep reading to check out the featured brand discount codes this month.

BoxyCharm October 2017 "Spellbound"
Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector Pressed Highlighter in Prosecco Pop $38.00
I was really surprised to see that this was in October's box. Becca is an amazing brand and they are most known for their highlighters. Prosecco Pop was created by Jaclyn Hill when she did a collab with Becca. I actually own her face palette that comes with Champagne Pop, Prosecco Pop, and 3 blushes. I'm not sure what I am going to do with this. Christmas is right around the corner and it would be a really nice Christmas gift.
Dirty Little Secret Eye Shadow Chubby in Illusion $14.00
This looks like a pretty color but I prefer pressed shadows over shadow sticks. I will save this for a giveaway or pass it on.
Tarte is my favorite high end brand and I love liquid lipsticks so I was super excited to see this. However, the color is a miss for me. It's described as an apricot nude but it just looks so bright on me. I tried to use the lip pencil to darken it and it still didn't work. The color also looked streaky. I prefer the Tarte Creamy Matte Lip Paint over this formula however, I recently got the Quick Dry Matte Lip Paint deluxe sample in Rose and I really like that color.
Jonteblu Lip Liner Pencil in Spice $5.00
This is a pretty natural/darker nude color. It's not the creamiest but I will keep as a back up. I prefer twist up creamier lip pencils.
I was really happy to see this in the box! I love the Dr. Brandt Microdermabrasion scrub so I can't wai to try this! This is super expensive so I really appreciate that I am able to try this through BoxyCharm as I normally wouldn't spend that much on a face scrub.
Here are swatches of the Tarte Liquid Lipstick, the Jonteblu lip pencil and the Becca Prosecco Pop highlighter:
While the lip color looks pretty neutral on my arm, it shows up way brighter on my lips.
TOTAL VALUE: $135.00

Overall, there were some misses for me but it doesn't change the fact that this box is an amazing value! I can never be mad about the boxes since I am getting over $100 in products each month for only $21.00. I also can't blame them for the fact that I just have wayyy too much makeup! lol I will definitely find use for the products that I won't use. I finished this review really late so I already have my November box so I will start working on a review for that next. I can't wait to share my thoughts on that one...I have a feeling its gonna be a good one! Also, BoxyCharm announced they were releasing a limited edition box for the holidays. I was able to snag one buy boy was it a shit show the day the pre sale started! You will hear all about it next month...
