Review: Stitch Fix-Fix #9

Hi Ladies!
Today I am going to share with you my thoughts on my 9th Fix from Stitch FixFor those of you unfamiliar with Stitch Fix, it is a personal styling subscription service. You can learn more about Stitch Fix and see my previous fixes on my Subscription Reviews page.  For this fix, I asked my stylist Jenni to send me items to transition me into the fall.

Onto the items that I recieved:
 $38.00
Kimono type tops have been a big fashion trend in both the spring and fall. I was excited to try this on when I saw it in the box. When I tried it on, I was a bit disappointed. I didn't like how big and wide it was on me. It felt like I was wearing a muumuu. Even adding a belt didn't make me want to keep it. These kimonos look totally cute on some people, it's just not for me.

$34.00
 $48.00
Both the top and bottoms in the above picture came from this fix. Lets start with the top. I liked it and though it was cute. I liked the mixed material on it. It was a bit big on the bottom but other than that I liked it.  However, I don't think it was special enough to want to keep.

I was surprised to see jeans in my fix. It was the first pair that I have recieved. I was even more surprised to see a bright green pair in the box. The color was nice and different however, they fit wasn't great on me. I think think that they were meant to stop right above the ankles but they felt too short to me. They were also not the most flattering on my shape. I tend to get jeans that have more elasticity to them so that they are stretchy. If I really loved these, I would have paid $48.00 for them, but I didn't.

 $28.00
I wasn't quite sure about this shirt when I pulled it out. I thought it MIGHT be cute, but a little more pretty than what I normally wear. When I tried it on, I really liked it. Yes, its very casual and I'm sure I could find similar elsewhere however, I liked the fabric. It was stretchy and a very light sweatshirt material. I think this will be a cute shirt for the fall with a pair of jeans and boots. I was also happy with the price of this. I decided to keep this.

 $28.00

I knew right away that I loved this shirt. The style of the shirt and the pattern on it were definitely my style. The colors weren't ones that I would normally pick out for myself but I did like them. This is why I love this subscription service. The shirt fit great and the price was great too. I decided to keep this.

The two shirts that I decided to keep where $28.00 each which brought my total to $56.00. I already paid the $20.00 styling fee so my total came to $36.00. I  feel that Jenni did a great job sending me items I might not normally pick for myself. I really appreciate the effort that she made trying to stay in my budget range. This was the best priced box thus far. I was really happy with the quality of the items vs the prices for each item. I can't wait to get my fix for October!
