Review: e.l.f. Contour Palette

Hey Guys,
Today I am going to share my thoughts on the e.l.f. Contour Palette. I picked this up at CVS about a month ago and am finally getting around to reviewing it. I have had my eyes on this contour palette for a while but didn't feel like placing an order online and hadn't seen it in stores. Finally, my local CVS had some in stock so I snatched it up as soon as I saw it. Keep reading to hear my thoughts!

Here is what is said about this palette on the e.l.f. website:
"This beautiful contour palette holds 4 gorgeous shades to mix and match for a custom, defined look. The pigmented colors are designed for contouring, shading, sculpting, brightening and highlighting the eyes, cheekbones, nose, and jawline to slim and enhance features. Infused with Vitamin E to help nourish for gorgeous-looking skin."

The contour palette a sleek square design with a big mirror inside. Its the same size as the blush palettes that they sell. The 4 powders inside are also a really good size.

The top left is a shimmery gold/white highlight shade. The top right is a finely milled light matte shade that is almost like a banana powder. This is for brightening. The bottom left is a matte medium bronze and the bottom right is a darker gray/taupe contour shade.

Here are swatches of each:

On to my thoughts:
This is an amazing contour palette, especially for the price! The colors are nicely pigmented and go on nice and smooth. I don't use highlight shades often because I don't like to look greasy or super shimmery. This highlight shade is just the right amount of highlight for me personally. Its subtle but gives a nice sheen where you apply it. The brightening powers works really well for under my eyes. I am trying to decide if I like it more than my Ben Nye Banana Powder. I LOVE this bronzer shade. I prefer more red toned bronzers over brown or orange toned ones. This one is perfect to me. I haven't used the contour shade very often because I hardly ever do any serious contouring anymore but it is nice to have it there. I use 3 out of the 4 shades most days of the week. I love that the powders pop out so that you can customize your palette if you prefer to do so. I really can't say enough good things about this e.l.f. contour palette. I'm really impressed and highly recommend it. I feel like e.l.f. is really stepping up their game in the beauty industry. I want to place an order for some more of their products soon. I am really interested in their Aqua Beauty line.
