Review: Ole Henriksen Balance VoxBox*

Hey Guys,

Today I'm going to share my thoughts on the Ole Henriksen Balance VoxBox that I received from Influenster. I am supposed to mention that I got these free from Influenster for testing and review purposes. I am familiar with the skin care brand Ole Henriksen but I wasn't aware that they came out with a new line for oily/combo skin. I was really excited to try these products out because I can get pretty oily in my t-zone and nothing really made a huge difference in preventing that. Mattifying foundations do help but the right skincare is even more important. Check out my unboxing video and keep reading to hear my thoughts on each product!

OOTD: This is How We Roll at Mohegan Sun

Hey Guys,

Today I am going to share the outfit I wore to the Florida Georgia Line concert at Mohegan Sun. For those of you not from New England, Mohegan Sun is a casino in Connecticut. Its about 1 hour and 45 minutes from me. They have a huge area there for concerts and sports events. I actually took a ton of video and some pictures at dinner and the concert. I saved them to my snap memories and apparently they didn't save! I'm totally bummed out. 

Anyways, the concert was awesome and it was a fun night. We started off by having dinner at Ballo which is an Italian restaurant at Mohegan Sun. 

Next we went to find our seats at the arena/stadium and have a few drinks. There were 3 opening acts. Ryan Follese, Chris Lane, and Dustin Lynch. All of the acts were great. 

Florida Georgia killed it just like their last show that I went to in the Summer. After the concert we went to the nightclub at the casino called Avalon and danced for a of couple hours. 

Spring Beauty Favorites

I don't know about you but after a long and cold winter I am always super excited for the Spring and warmer weather. Aside from a different wardrobe, my beauty items/makeup tends to change a little as well. Although I am mainly a fan of neutrals, I do add a little more color to my looks. Today I'm going to introduce you all to a brand that I am collaborating with! The company is JORD and they specialize in wooden watches for men and women. All JORD watches are hand crafted. There have many different styles of watches available. There are several different wood types and face colors to choose from. You could pick from more classic styles or more fun and unique ones. I had a hard time deciding but finally made the decision to go with the Fieldcrest Series in the Dark Sandalwood.

Right when I opened the box, I could immediately tell that a huge amount of detail and thought went into this watch. Not only did it come in a beautiful wooden box, but it was displayed atop an embroidered pillow. It also came with items to care for your watch including a super soft cloth and treatment oil.

Review: BH Cosmetics Metal Rose Brush Set

Hey Guys, 
Today I am going to share my thoughts on the BH Cosmetics brush set that Colin got me for Christmas. I have been using it for a few weeks and am ready to share my thoughts!

 The brushes are cruelty free and synthetic. At first glance, the brushes feel really luxurious and high quality. The fact that they are made out of metal really adds to this. The case is really nice too and is pretty big.

Spring Fashion Favorites

Hey Guys,
Today I am going to share some of my fashion related favorites for the spring. A big thank you to Lily Beauty with Lily and Cara Kindly Unspoken for helping me figure out how to create shopping bars and collages. I have been really lucky to have so many of my blogger friends willing to lend a helping hand. I truly appreciate it!

When it comes to fashion, I have my go to stores and websites. I am going to try to broaden the stores that I feature in my fashion posts. However, I do consider myself more of a "budget friendly" fashion blogger. While I splurge every once in a while, I very rarley spend a lot on clothing. And what I mean by that is alot per item. haha So you will mostly see "affordable" stuff on these lists not high end unless requested. As most of you know, Fashion Nova is one of my favorite fashion brands. They are not on the shopping app that I used for this post so those hauls and posts will always be separate. Retailers that  you WILL see on these lists are my favorites like Express, H&M, Forever21, and Target.

Going forward, you will see more of these type of posts on my blog. I have been pretty bored with all of my reviews and unboxings. While I will still be doing those, I will throw in some more fashion and beauty seasonal favorites, trends, wishlists, etc. Please let me know if there is something specific that you would like to see on my blog! I would also love your feedback on this post!

Review: BoxyCharm Feb 2017

I hope everyone is as excited as me that it is March 1st! Even though Spring technically isn't until March 21st, the start of the month is just a reminder that we are almost there! Today I am going to share my thoughts on my BoxyCharm for February. I shared last month's box kind of late so I'm kind of reviewing these really close together. For those of you unfamiliar with BoxyCharm, it is a monthly beauty subscription box. You receive 5 FULL SIZED products each month. The subscription is $21.00 a month and usually has a theme.The theme for the month of February was "Would You Be My Galentine?". This goes along with the fairly new holiday called "Galentine's Day" which is Feb. 13th. It's when women get together with their girlfriends and celebrate their friendship.
