Review: Essence Cosmetics 2014 Autumn/Winter Collection*

Hi Ladies!
Today I am going to share with you Essence Cosmetics 2014 Autumn/Winter Collection. I have really been impressed with this brand after trying out some of the products in their 2014 Spring/Summer Collection (you can check out that review HERE). Essence Cosmetics is a German cosmetic brand that is sold at Ulta. Their products are super affordable and of great quality. They are big players in the fight against animal testing and all of their products are cruelty free.

Here are some of the items from their new Autumn/Winter Collection:
Long Lasting Lipstick $2.99 at Ulta
L-R: Natural Beauty, On the Catwalk, and Coral Calling
Essence has come out with a line of long lasting lipsticks. They currently have 10 different shades in the collection. These lipsticks are more pigmented than their regular lipsticks and do not contain any shimmer. These lipsticks allow you to build up the color until you are happy with it. They are very moisturizing and last about 5 hours (including eating and drinking). These are great lipsticks for $2.99! I look forward to trying more colors from this line.

You can check out the rest of the Long Lasting Lipstick line HERE.

All About Sunrise Palette $4.99 at Ulta
All About Sunrise contains warm toned shadows including golds, browns, and bronzes. I gasped when I saw the pigmentation in this palette. This color scheme reminds me of leaves in the fall turning color. This palette is said to contain metallic, shimmer and matte shadows. I am not exactly sure which ones are which but if I had to guess,  would say the first three are shimmers, the next to are metallics, and the last one is a matte. The last one isn't completely matte in my opinion but it is definitely less shimmery than the rest. I think that this palette is absolutely beautiful. I think that these shadows are best applied with your fingers first, then blended out with a brush (especially the two metallics). I think they are the most pigmented packed on with your finger. These colors blend beautifully and I didn't notice any serious creasing for fading throughout the day.

All About Nude is a cool toned palette containing purples, lilacs, pinks, and taupe. This palette is also said to contain shimmer, metallic, and matte shadows. I think the second shade in is matte, the third in is metallic and the rest are shimmers. These colors are also very beautiful. Like the first palette, these are the most pigmented when applied with the fingers first. My favorite color in this palette is the third shade which is a frosted lilac color. I also thought the wear time for these was similar to All About Sunrise . There was no significant fading or creasing noticed. I did find the All About Sunrise Palette a bit more pigmented than this one.

Aside from these two, there are two other 6 pan palettes in this the Essence "All About.." Collection.
All About Candies-soft pastels
All About Paradise-bright/trendy colors

This blush is a nice peach color for the fall. It is super silky and creamy. It is very pigmented so you don't need a ton of product on the brush. I didn't notice it fading throughout the day. I was really impressed with this blush.

This mascara is supposed to give you maximum volume and curl while also thickening your lashes. This product definitely thickened my lashes and gave them volume. The curved shape brush does take some getting used to. I didn't have any issues with flaking or raccoon eyes. I plan to try out more Essence mascaras as they have a ton of them!

Gel Eye Pencil Waterproof in Cocoa Bean and Blue Lagoon $2.99 at Ulta
These new waterproof gel liners are AMAZING! They are super creamy, pigmented, and glide on like butter! The liner is retractable which I love! I had the liner on all day long and didn't notice any smudging, transfer, or fading. I can't believe they are only $2.99.  I am definitely picking more of these babies up!

These cream concealers come with a lighter shade and a darker shade to give you color options. You can also mix the two shades to create your own custom shade. This concealer can be used on blemishes but I think it works best for dark circles. I also found that you get the best coverage when applying with your fingers.

The other cream concealer shade is Natural Beige which you can see HERE.
