Valentine's Day Collaboration: One Palette Date

Hi Ladies!

My beautiful beauty blogger friends (BBBF! Did I just make that up?!)  Lily from Beauty with Lily and Jackie from Five Two Certified decided to create a fun Valentine's Day collaboration. They were nice enough to ask me to join. Each one of us had to create a full face look along with an OOTD (outfit of the day) on Polyvore. The twist to this collab was that we each could only use one eye/face palette to create our look. However, we could add in other face products for the rest of the look (foundation, blush, mascara, etc).

The palette that I chose to use was the Tarte of Giving Palette by Tarte. I was lucky enough to get this for Christmas this year and I love it!

Here are the colors I chose to use in this palette:

Here is the look that I created:

For the shadows I used (4 shadows on the bottom left side of palette):
Jess' Storybook-lids and as a crease transition
Erica's Dollhouse-inner half of lids and inner corner of eyes
Meredith's Hula Hoop-crease, outer v, and lower lash line
Sam's Ice Skates-outer v and lower lash line
Steph's Pearls-brow bone and inner corner of eyes

Other products used:
Eyeshadow Base-M.A.C. Paint Pot in Painterly
Cheeks-Too Faced Melt into Spring
Liner-Nyx The Curve Liner and Nyx The Super Fat Eye Marker (upper lash line)/ Urban Decay 24/7 Glide on Eye Pencil in Zero (tightline & waterline)
Brows-M.A.C. eyebrow pencil in Lingering and Anastasia Clear brow gel
Lashes-Rimmel ScandalEyes Flex
Face-Bare Minerals Loose Powder Foundation in Medium Beige followed by the Original Mineral Veil. Contoured with Too Faced Chocolate Soleil Bronzer.
Highlight-Physician's Formula Mineral Glow Pearls in Beige Pearl
Concealer-Nyx HD Photogenic Concealer in Yellow and Beige and Nyx Dark Circle Concealer in Light
Lips-Bite Beauty High Pigment Lip Pencil in Midera and Nyx Butter Gloss in Apple Strudel
All over face-M.A.C. Fix + Makeup Setting Spray

Below is the Valentine's Day outfit that I created:

Valentine's Day Collab: One Palette Date

I dress up 5 days a week for work so dressing down is more fun to me. My husband Kenny and I usually have a low key V-Day. We don't usually go anywhere too fancy so this outfit would be perfect for a dinner at one of my favorite restaurants and a night out to the movies. I usually pick a chick flick since this is the only time of the year he will agree to see one haha. I love the pink sweater paired with the gray skinny jeans. To me, these colors paired together give a romantic feel. The sweater looks comfy yet dressy enough when pairing it with a rhinestone and pearl statement necklace and diamond stud earrings. I chose suede flat boots to go with this look because boots are my go to shoe in the winter. I am by no means a heel girl. I love all types of boots. I thought that the suede material went well with this look. Lastly, I added in a black Michael Kors Bag. Although I don't own one, I can pretend to for this! lol

I hope you enjoyed the my Valentine's Day look!
